Pink blossoms bloom
Like friendship in the summer time
Stone walls stand as firm
As the strength of friendly love
Waterfalls rush like legions of crisp clear water
With the bond between inseparable friends

Sun light shines its harmful rays
With it comes betrayal and rejection
Tree tops sway in the blowing wind
And crash to the mossy earth

On stormy nights
Animals scurry to escape the rain
While we turn to drugs and pain
The thunder crashes down around us
Deafening our shell shocked ears
Tears and rain drops mingle
As the lightning strikes from overhead

Bushes rustle in the howling breeze
So we slip and fall to our knees
Why have we let these storms in
To ruin our perfect day?

What if we give up
And allow the storm to pass by?
Will we cry alone and die?
Or save ourselves
By fixing what was lost?

Confusion fights with anger
Control fights with freedom
Pity fights for rights to win
When the numbness sets in

I miss the easy ways and
Endless days of fun and play
When we were so happy
That always meant forever

And wild theatrics
