AURORA FROST:
Today was the day we moved from Australia to Forks. Yeah, Australia. I was sorta excited to move you know. My family and I never really had such great memories there. Yes, Australia was home. The home where my brother and I grew up in with my father but also where my mom would meet her end in that stupid car crash with that stupid drunk driver.

I always blamed myself for it since she only went out because of something I said to her. Something I did. No matter how many times my brother and father would tell me it wasn't my fault I still had that small doubt. I mean, what human being wouldn't? At one point even my father and brother felt guilty. I guess you can't stop the inevitable.

After the whole incident with my mother, my brother got drafted only two years later. He was 18 and I was 14. Now I'm 17 and Daniel, my brother, would be 21. Now, it's been a while since my dad and I heard from him but all we do is pray for the best...despite the fact we don't pray but whatever.

As my dad was driving up the street in his blue sedan I sat in the passenger's seat staring off into the woods. A part of me wanted to go in there but a part of me didn't because well, it looked...scary.

"Daydreaming again Dawn" my dad spoke snapping me from my thoughts.

"Hm?" I questioned with a slight hint of confusion making him chuckle.

"You see Dawn, I don't know what I would do without you" he spoke and I looked up at him with a smile.

"You'd die" I joked and he nodded.

"Probably would. I mean, I already lost your mum and your brother we barely hear from. If I ever lost you I think I would die. I would go crazy and then die. Don't you think?"

I only shrugged a bit and looked back out the window making him smile.

"Whenever she was bored or tired she would look out the window watching everything just pass on by. Then she would keep staring off like it was her own little world until we reach our destination and me being the responsible one has to-"

"WAKE HER UP!" he screamed and I jumped a bit falling off the seat and onto the floor. Somehow I did it. I don't know how I got in and I really didn't know how to get out but whatever.

"Why did you yell?" I asked looking up at him. A small glare in my eyes making him chuckle.

"Well, I told you. When your mum wouldn't pay attention I would have to yell just to tell her that well, Dawn, we're here. At our new house"

I groaned lightly in annoyance at him and got up and out of the car. I grabbed my bags from the trunk and once I turned around I dropped my stuff right onto the ground.

"Oh my God...Dad, is this our place?!" I asked in shock and astonishment. I mean, look at it! It's like a mansion!

"Yes Dawn, this is our house and it is the right house" he spoke with a chuckle and I turned to look at him. Shock laced in my tone and within my expression

"How did you buy this place? It looks expensive..." I spoke sadly. Imagine that. He probably used a lot of his retirement money just for our house. I mean, now that is a perfect life.

"Aurora, it wasn't as much as it looks. It was actually sold for cheaper" he said softly and I turned around hugging him.

"You're amazing" I spoke with a smile as he laughed softly.

"I know Dawn. I know. Now, go inside and go find your room. I know you'll just love it"

Instantly I knew he was up to something...I mean, he was smiling way to much. I know smiling is good and everything but something was...up.

"Go, Aurora, you'll love the inside of the house if you love the outside that much" he chuckled and I could only nod slowly.

I walked over to go pick up my bags when he shook his head.

"Aurora, I'll bring it in" he spoke with a smile and I knew arguing wouldn't do anything and he would win so all I did was nod and walk inside.

I started to roam around the house when I saw that the inside was beautiful. It is beautiful. Sometimes I wonder if he was the one who decorated the room...then it hit me and I couldn't get that one thought out of my head.

Oh my God, my dad has a girlfriend

I chuckled at the crazy thought because well, he hasn't gone out on a date for so long but it's okay. Ish. I kinda want another girl in the house. It's boring sorta living with two guys. Then again, I'm really close with my dad and brother so it's okay. Again, ish.

I quickly snapped out of my...whatever I was in and walked up the huge staircase. Okay, it wasn't huge it's just, it's bigger than our old one.

I roamed around for a bit kinda getting lost when I found a white door with a pastel baby pink sun right in the center. I smiled knowing this was my room. My name, Aurora, it means Dawn which is why my dad calls me that. Other than that people call me Aurora and well, my brother calls me Rora.

Quickly I opened up my door seeing the most beautiful room I've ever seen. It was just...it just left me...speechless.

I saw a huge bed filled with multiple decorations. The bed covers and sheets were this baby pink with many shades of pink pillows. Above it was a small decoration also multiple shades of light pink. The carpet was a pure white color like snow. The walls of my room were also this baby pink and it all just left me stunned. To add onto it there was this huge window that it was like you could see miles! This room was honestly something else.

"Like it?" someone spoke making me jump from the suddenness.

"Oh my God! Dad!" I screamed and he chuckled.

"Like it?" he repeated once more making me turn my head to glare at him.

"Like it?" he spoke again once I just kept staring at him. Finally, I knew I should say something so I did.

"Like it? Dad, I love it!" I screeched running over hugging him making him smile.

"Good Dawn. I'm glad you do. Now, it's late. You should head to bed. We gotta go to school tomorrow" he spoke and I let out an annoyed groan.

If you must know, my dad is the new principal. Fun isn't it.

"Fine" I mumbled and crashed onto the bed making him chuckle.

"Gotta be there early remember that" he spoke setting my bags down and walked out.

I laid there looking up at the ceiling and got up grabbing a nightshirt trudging to my bathroom which I also admit was goddamn beautiful.

There was this huge mirror and tub along with a walk in shower. I swear, this whole thing felt like a dream.

Once I was finished with everything I finally fell asleep. Confused. Shocked. Scared. And happy. Gotta love mixed emotions.

The next day, I woke up getting ready doing my normal routine. Both my dad and I got to the high school walking in as I saw multiple people staring at us. I admit, it was pretty creepy...

Soon enough the day started and I got my classes and whatever. I began to roam around some when I saw a familiar face. A face I never thought I'd see again.

"Excited to see me Aurora?"
