EDWARD CULLEN
A few months had passed since everything happened and It's been good for the most part too. Often times we would move from place to place where either we stayed at her place or we would stay at my place to sleep. And even now Aurora's mind was open as she finally let me in. She even stopped hurting herself. For once she seemed as if she was finally happy. I couldn't believe it as I didn't think it would get better but I was happy. She was happy. We ARE happy.

I laid there happily as she had her arms around my waist and her head on my chest as I held her closely into me while reading Romeo and Juliet. I may have known what happens in the end but it was that or stare at her for hours. There is no doubt that I couldn't cause I could but it would be creepy for her to wake up to that.

After a while, I felt her lightly shift her body weight and that's when I looked down looking at her to see her looking up at me. Smiling.

"Hi" she whispered tiredly as I couldn't help but smile. Her voice was lightly hoarse but smooth at the same time.

"I see you're staring" she giggled and cuddled into me as I smiled putting down the book and held her into me.

Suddenly I heard her speaking to me. Well, thinking. Not particularity at me but she was thinking and I couldn't help but listen. She was thinking about asking me what Aro meant by I needed to turn her but she didn't want me to be upset. I sighed softly as I heard her think about becoming one. How much she now wanted to be one...to be...with me...

"Aurora...no" I spoke gently as she looked at me completely confused.

"We aren't turning you and that's that. Now, would you like something to eat?" I asked with a smile as she didn't smile...her expression as plain as I'm not surprised she figured out what happened. She already knew everything but I guess forgot that she just can't keep thinking like I can't stop listening. I wish I could but I can't.

"Aurora...hungry?" I asked softly as she shook her head and got up and walked to the door. So much for perfection...

"Aurora?" I spoke again to see her walking to out the window like doors to my balcony. She leaned against it and looked out at the trees not saying a thing. I tried so hard to stay out of her head. I wanted to give her...space.

Slowly I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close. I gently laid my head onto her shoulder as she turned to look at me. Both of us with a calm and non-expressional look.

"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have read your thoughts like that" I spoke gently as she kissed my head not saying a word as she looked back out and at the view.

"Auri?" I spoke softly and she again looked at me.

"Please say something. I want to hear your voice. Please. Don't be mad" I whispered and held her closer as she let out a small sigh.

"Why don't you want me to turn?" she asked softly as I sighed and buried my face into her shoulder. I didn't want to explain it.

"Edward" she spoke gently as I looked up at her with a sad look.

"Aurora, I'm a monster. I don't want you to be like me...I want you to be happy and live your life...as a human" I spoke gently as she sighed and turned around wrapping her arms around my neck as my head was still on her shoulder. Both of us hugging.

"Edward, you aren't a monster. Okay?" she spoke gently as I shook my head. "I am one..." I whispered as she shook her head and kissed my cheek.

"Edward, you aren't a monster okay? I promise" she spoke gently again.

"Yes...I am. I am Aurora...I am" I whispered as I cuddled into her more.

"Why? How? Tell me. How are you a monster?"

"I've killed...I've killed so many people..." I whispered shamefully as she sighed and pulled away grabbing my hand as she led me back over to the bed. She sat down with my hand still laced into hers as I took a seat right next to her.

"Edward, you are not a monster. I don't care if you've killed people. I want you and I want to be with you. I grow old Edward. You don't. And I mean it when I say I want to live forever with you just...what happens in 40 years when I'm 57? You won't want me. And then what happens when I'm dead. What then? What will it all be for?"

"Aurora...Can't you just live a long and happy life with me? Can't you just grow old with me?" I pleaded as she shook her head gently. She straddled me and laid her head onto my shoulder as she nuzzled into my neck.

"What happens when I die? What about you?" she whispered softly and fearfully as I smiled sadly kissing her head.

"I love you. So much. So so much" I whispered gently as she nodded not saying anything else. It was like she was afraid to. "And when you die, I die. I'll find a way to get back to you. Okay?"

That's when she panicked and pulled away from me. Tears threatening to spill past her cheeks. Quickly I tried to hug her but she pulled away and walked out my bedroom door and ran downstairs and out the front door...and just like that...she left. God...I fucked this up.

AURORA FROST
I sobbed getting out of the house as I knew his family watched me as I left but I didn't care. I just sobbed some more and got into my car and started to drive off and went quickly back to my house. I just wanted to be alone...

Finally I got back to my house that I shared with my dad. I parked the car and walked inside as there were tears staining my face.

"Dawn?" my dad spoke gently as he was on the couch with his girlfriend asleep in his lap.

Suddenly I froze not knowing what to do as I felt tears pricking my eyes once more. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't let him just do that...he couldn't just devote himself to me like that...he couldn't.

"Dawn, come here" my dad spoke gently as I walked over and sat next to him sniffling. He wrapped an arm around me as I laid onto his shoulder.

"Tell me. What's wrong? Is it Edward? Do I have to kill him?" he spoke quickly as I shook my head and laid there letting all the tears come out. I should've known...I should've known he would do this...

"No...I just...It's n-nothing" I whimpered as he sighed softly. "Aurora...did he...hurt you?" he spoke gently as I quickly shook my head.

"N-no. Never" I whispered shakily as he nodded softly. He knew about what happened with Evan...how he hurt me...how his friends hurt me...

"Aurora...maybe...maybe we should...leave...move...somewhere else...where you'll be...happy" he whispered as I sat up confused.

"And what about you? What about her? Aren't you and Isla still together?" I spoke gently as I looked down at her sleeping in his lap then at him.

"Yeah...we are but...we can work it out...as long as you're happy" he spoke gently as I let out an annoyed noise and got up and just turned to him laughing.

"I'm so done! I'm tired of this crap! Why does everyone think they need to do things just to make me happy! What do you know what makes me happy?! What does Edward know?! What does anyone know!" I screamed as I felt my nails dig into my palms. I was angry.

"Daniel is dead, mum is dead, my two babies that I miss are dead. Edward seems like he's only basing his world off of me and you only want to do things based off me! Oh, and don't forget James! He's always gone with his new girlfriend! It's so ugh!" I screamed as my nails dug deeper.

"I'm tired of it...people are either leaving me or only seeming to want to FIX me by trying to decide FOR me" I snapped as I saw Isla was waking up. I shook my head and looked at him. "Why doesn't anyone see how perfectly happy I am now? Why doesn't anyone see that right now, it's perfect...or was perfect..." I spoke softly as he didn't say anything. I just let out a scoff and went upstairs to my room where I locked my door and collapsed onto my bed where I laid there...all day...relapsing.

JAMES MONROE
I was laying in bed with Renessmee asleep cuddled into me when the phone rang. I gently pulled away from her and went downstairs to answer the call.

"Hello?" I spoke with a small hint of confusion.

"James, it's Edward...I need you to check on Aurora for me. Please" he spoke quickly and I blinked rapidly completely confused.

"Wait what? Slow down. What's going on?" I asked in a concerned tone. "Did something happen to Aurora?"

"I-I-Uh...I upset her earlier and I'm afraid she might do something...please. C-Check on her" he choked out between his words. He sounded like he's been crying.

"Wait, what?! What did you do?!" I snapped as I felt Renesmee wrapped her arms around my waist and laid her head onto my shoulder as she kissed my cheek.

"Calm down" she whispered as I nodded sucking in a sharp breath.

"What happened" I spoke in a calm yet angry tone.

"I told her I wasn't going to change her...that I would let her grow and die and that when she did...I would join her too...just...p-please...she just stopped hurting herself for a month now...please" his voice broke as I held back the urge to snap at him.

"James, calm down" Renesmee whispered again as I sighed and nodded.

"If she hurts herself it's on you" I snapped and hung up. I was angry.

"You know he means well...he wanted the same for when he was with my mom...he still hates what he is" she spoke gently as I nodded kissing her head.

"I'll be back soon...okay?" I spoke gently as she nodded. And with that, I was gone and off to Aurora's house.

Once I ran to Aurora's house I knocked on the door to see her dad's girlfriend at the door. It was a good thing that he's moving on.

"Hey, you're Aurora's friend right?" she asked and I nodded quickly.

"I came to check on her. She's been upset and I'm worried. Is she upstairs?" I asked politely yet quickly.

"Yeah. Upstairs" she spoke and let me in. And with that, I quickly went upstairs and went to open the door and when I did I found something terrible...

"Caramel..." I spoke gently to see her instantly look up at me with tears rolling down her cheeks, a blade in her hand, cut and scratched wrists and arms, and pills scattered around her bed and floor. She looked like a mess.

Quickly I walked in and shut the door behind me. I went over to her and wrapped her wrists up as I then saw her fists were now clenched. Gently I unraveled them and saw small crescent-like marks on her palms and old scared ones. I sighed softly turning her palms down to see her nails were bitten. Slowly I looked up at her to see she was shaking and now sobbing.

"Caramel..." I whispered gently and picked her up sitting her onto my lap. She wrapped her arms around my neck and cuddled into me sobbing onto my shoulder. Gently I kissed her head and petted her hair.

"Stop. Please. You were doing so good..." I spoke gently as she was silent. The only thing that came out of her was small and light sobs.

"Aurora, look at me" I spoke pulling away from her to see her eyes red and swollen a bit. Her face was puffy as it sometimes did this.

"Stop. Please. I know you're hurting but look at yourself...I need you to stop. Danny wouldn't want this" I spoke gently as she broke down sobbing and cuddled into me.

"I-I miss him" she choked out as I nodded holding her gently. "I know. I know. I know" I whispered gently as I tried everything to comfort her.

"It's almost noon. You've been up here for a while now...and I'm guessing you haven't eaten either" I spoke gently as she nodded.

"Come on, get changed. I'm taking you out to eat" I spoke with a smile as she nodded softly. Gently I got up and grabbed her a sweatshirt from her closet. I was guessing it was Edward's cause it looked big.

"Here. Put this on" I spoke softly as I handed it to her.

"C-Can you leave m-me alone?" she spoke softly between sniffles as I shook my head.

"I have to stay and make sure you don't try anything Caramel. Plus I've seen you before Aurora. Don't make it awkward. While you change I'm just going to clean up. Okay?" I spoke with a small smile as she nodded and went to change.

As she changed I turned away picking up the pills and the blood covered blade. When I finished I turned to see herself standing in her bra and panties staring at herself in the mirror as she looked at the cuts and scars all over her body. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes as I sighed getting up and stepped in front of her blocking the mirror. Instantly I tilted her head up and looked her in her eyes.

"Aurora, stop it. You're perfect just the way you are. Okay?" I spoke softly as she shook her head and turned around putting the sweatshirt on without saying a word. She was silent. I sighed and grabbed her hand as I gently led her down the steps to see her dad on the couch with Isla. He looked like a mess...like he knew what was going on but felt so powerless. He knew everything...well, except for the vampire stuff. We just told him everything that happened to Aurora...

"D-Dawn" his voice broke as he got up and hugged her. It was like he knew she was hurting herself but couldn't do anything about it.

"Mr. Frost...she's okay. I'm gonna go take her out to eat. Okay?" I spoke gently so it wouldn't make Aurora upset. She never liked it when people were loud.

"Okay...okay" he spoke softly as he pulled away. I watched as Aurora walked off as she was unable to look at him. It made him sad but he understood.

"Caramel, go wait in the car. I'll be right behind you. And don't do anything dumb okay?" I spoke as she nodded and walked out.

"She's going to be okay. She's just upset and had a little...accident upstairs...I cleaned her up and I'm just taking her to her favorite place. I'll bring her back later tonight. Promise" I spoke with a smile as he nodded.

"Okay...okay...just...take care of her...please" he spoke softly and brokenly. It was sad. He lost his wife and son...now he was losing his daughter all over again...

And with that, I walked out of the house and got into the driver's seat seeing Aurora looking down at her phone with a picture of Edward who was cuddling into her as she slept. It was a picture Alice probably took. I didn't say anything knowing she didn't want me to and I started the car and drove off to the restaurant with the car silent the whole way there.
