Raph's POV

I woke up feeling a lot better than last night. I felt warmth from someone sleeping beside me. I looked to see Y/N sleeping on my plastron. I smiled seeing her there. I kissed her forehead and she started waking up.

"Good morning, gorgeous," I mumbled.

"Good morning, handsome," she replied, wearing a sad smile.

"What's wrong, babe?" I asked, confused.

She got up and walked to the other end of the lab, her back to me. She sighed and turned around to face me.

"I feel guilty about leaving you guys. Especially you. I thought I was doing it to protect you, but it was really Shredder controlling me. You could've been killed and that would've haunted me for the rest of my life and the only thing the one guy I love tried to do was talk me out of it and I left him all because I was afraid," she explained.

She cried as she slumped down and buried her head in her knees. I walked up to her and hugged her tight. She then cried into my plastron.

I rocked her as I said, "I don't blame you for what you were trying to do. I just wish that you could've trusted us to protect you."

I put the necklace I originally gave her around her neck. She held it as she looked up at me and smiled.

"I know. I really do trust you," she responded.

I smiled and kissed her. As we did so, I brought my hand behind my back and held a little black box. I had this since Y/N left. I hid it in a little pocket in my belt. When we stopped kissing, I stood up and helped her up.

"Well, I just want you to know that you make me the happiest turtle alive. I love you with all my heart and nothing will make me feel any different. Y/N, will you marry me?" I asked as I went down on one knee and opened the box to reveal a beautiful diamond ring.

It had a heart-shaped diamond with an engraving on the inside that said "Always Forever". She cupped her mouth shut and tears started to flow again. But this time, it was out of happiness. She gently grabbed my face and kissed me. When we parted, she had that beautiful smile I've always loved.

"Yes, Raphael. I will," she cried.

I stood up and put the ring on her finger. We kissed again for a little while until we heard voices.

"Aww!" all the guys said.

I immediately blushed like crazy. Anger started forming through me. Y/N just smirked.

"Let's sic em!" she replied.

"I thought you never asked," I smiled.

I got my sais as she got her bat. We chased them around the lair and I just thought of how lucky I was to have the most amazing girl with me and who has the same love for violence as me.
