"What's this behavior Shivaay? Again you are doing everything as per your wish only, hai na? After all you are the great Tadibaaz Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi why will you listen to what others saying."

      Annika stopped for a moment just to wipe her tears and again continued,

"Why you are silent? You are angry, right? Then this is your phone...come on end this phone's life by throwing it...or I am here only in front of you just twist my hand and tell me that it was my mistake...or throw me into the pool to show me how wrong I was...why you are silent till now? See I gave you many options do something fast and make me realise what mistake I have done...do something Shivaay but first please wake up, wake up Shivaay please..."

        Annika broke down on his chest.

        After having one minor surgery doctors shifted Shivaay to the normal hospital room. Om and Rudra immediately admitted him into the hospital when they found him unconscious outside Rudra's room. Doctor said he had a mild heart attack and one small surgery needed.

       Annika who went for an interview in one famous event management company completed every procedure there and came to the bus stop to go to Chanda, her friend's house where she was staying from last week. OmRu were about to come to pick her up but she denied saying the bus stop is next to that office so she can go alone. But when she came to the bus stop she got to know that no bus was available till next morning. Her phone was also switched off due to low battery so she decided to go alone to Chanda's house by walking. She was not familiar with that area so it took her one n half hour to reach at Chanda's house.

       When she reached she saw Chanda at the door only waiting for her. Chanda told her about Shivaay's condition. Hearing this Annika was about to fell but Chanda came to hold her. Annika composed herself and asked Chanda to take her to the hospital soon. Chanda reminded her about Pinky's words but Annika didn't stop she just want to see her Shivaay.

      When she reached here in the hospital Shivaay was in operation theatre. Soon doctors came out and said they did surgery but he will take time to gain back his consciousness. When he moved to the room Annika was with him. More than six hours has passed but he didn't wake up till now.

      Annika looked up after a while at Shivaay who was sleeping on the hospital bed with many machines attached to his body.

"Shivaay...I know you are giving me punishment for leaving you...but I don't want it. You can give me any other punishment I am ready to do whatever you says but please wake up first."

        Annika said holding his face in her hands. Her tears fell on his cheeks.. Annika saw this and wiped her tears and moved away to notice some change in him but to her disappointment he didn't open his eyes like everytime. Now Annika knew he is more angry with her.

"You are this much angry on your Annika? That you didn't wake up on this too? I am sorry Shivaay. There was no any option and I...I was scared...too much scared to lose you...but seeing you in this condition I understood what mistake I did Shivaay..."

       She again started crying.

"I went away from you taaki aap khush raho but you...why you are punishing yourself Shivaay like this...why Shivaay why..."

      She said and placed her head on his chest. She looked up after sometime when she heard,

"So you are here again...Main kuch bhi kru tum hamesha koi na koi raasta dhoondh hi leti ho na Shivaay kr kareeb aane ka..."

      It was Pinky standing at the door of that hospital room. Annika looked back at Shivaay wiping her tears. Pinky walked towards Annika but Annika didn't look up neither she left Shivaay's hand which was in her hands.

"I am talking to you."

        Pinky said seeing Annika silent. This time also Annika didn't respond.

"Why you are here now? Why don't you let him live happily ha?"

      Pinky asked again. Annika turned to look at Pinky her hand was still holding Shivaay's left hand.

"Happy? Open your eyes and look at him...you think he is happy?"

     Annika asked. Pinky turned her gaze to Shivaay for a second before looking back at Annika but didn't say anything.

"Now why you are silent? Answer me... You said he is not happy with me. Now I went away from him, right?... So tell me why he is not happy now?"

       Annika questioned Pinky. Pinky looked away from her and didn't respond on this too.

"It's been 6 days I left him. From that day he is not taking care of himself. Not having his medicines, not having proper food. And now this heart attack...all this because he is happy?? What you were doing when he was not taking care of his health ha? Ohh I forgot you are not his mother so why will you care for him."

"Annika..."

      Pinky shouted angrily.

"Don't shout at me. What wrong I said tell me? Isn't it true? You don't want him to be happy that's why doing this with him. And not now you are doing this from many days. Everyone in the family knew that how happy Shivaay was when we both were together even Tej uncle knew this and you...who always tries to prove that you are best mom...you don't know that what's his happiness?"

"I...I..."

     Pinky started but Annika didn't give her chance.

"You what? No mother will snatch her children's happiness from them. But you...you tried every possible way to make him lose his happiness. So how can you say that you are his mother? No mother will do whatever you did with Shivaay."

"Don't you think you are speaking too much?"

     Pinky gain her voice back after sometime.

"Why? You don't have answers right? That's why stopping me from saying all these things. Actually there are many more things I want to say. But right now Shivaay and his health is my first priority. You can go now. I am here to take care of him. Let him take rest."

      Annika said looking back at Shivaay.

"You can't stay here. What if he will get up and see you?"

       Annika turned her gaze to Pinky again.

"He will be very happy seeing me beside him. And I think he will recover soon if he will get to know that his Annika is back and this time for forever."

      Annika answered tightening her hold on Shivaay's hand.

"Noo....you can't come back in his life."

"This time give me threats whatever you want to give but I am not going to listen. I am not going away from him not for a second."

      Annika replied confidently looking at Shivaay's sleeping figure.

"You have to."

"I don't want to. I am not going to give up this time. I will be with him only. Do whatever you want then."

"No you..."

      Pinky started but stopped as one doctor with one nurse entered into the room.

"We want to do some tests. You have to wait outside."

      Doctor said. Annika nodded and left Shivaay's hand and placed it on the bed. She looked at him for a second and left the room.

"I want to talk to you."

      Pinky said once they both came out of Shivaay's room. Annika turned to her.

"I already said I am not interested."

"You have to listen to me."

"Ok say..."

     Annika replied folding her hands.

"But keep this thing in your mind that I am not going away from Shivaay again."

"You have to."

"I said I..."

    Pinky cutted her off in between.

"You have to Annika. You can't stay with him...no...and before you start your drama again about not going to leave him and all.. listen to what I am saying. After that you will get ready to leave him without any force."

      Pinky said smirking.

"I...ok tell me. Let's see. I know I am not going anywhere now. But you are so confident about your next plan so I will love to prove you wrong this time."

      Annika said with a smile.

"Not here...let's go to the cafeteria."

      Pinky said and Annika nodded before going out of the hospital building with Pinky.

      After next four hours Shivaay got his consciousness back. When he opened his eyes for the first time he looked around the room and found OmRu and daadi sitting there and Pinky was standing near his bed. He looked around again but other than those four Oberoi members no one was in the room. Shivaay closed his eyes to feel something but to his disappointment he didn't felt someone's presence.

"Shivaay....."

     Shivaay opened his eyes hearing Pinky's voice and when he looked at her all those CCTV footage flashes came infront of his eyes and he closed his eyes again.

"I am here in the hospital still she didn't come to see me? I can't even feel her presence around me so she didn't come. Is mom threatened her this much that she is listening to her every demand. But what's that reason...I can't even ask OmRu.. if they didn't share with me when they knew everything then there must be some big reason. Only Annika can give me all answers which I want. I have to meet her at any cost."

        Shivaay thought to himself.

After a week,

       Today Shivaay was getting discharge from the hospital. From last seven days everyday he waited for Annika but she didn't come to meet him.

"You can't come to see me. But I can. I am coming Annika. Today at any cost I will search your whereabouts."

     Shivaay said to himself while wearing his kurta. OmRu and Tej came to pick him up. Soon Doctor came for his final checkup.

"You need total bedrest Mr. Oberoi...no work...no stress and main thing don't go out of the house."

       Doctor said writing something on Shivaay's file.

"But....."

     Shivaay started but doctor didn't give him chance.

"It's compulsory. You are not perfectly fine Mr. Oberoi. But your family requested so I am giving you discharge. I am giving you strong medicines so that you can take rest. But still you also have to take care of yourself. You are not out of danger, ok?"

"But doctor now I am fine. No need of those medicines. I am perfectly fine."

      Shivaay protested.

"Shivaay....it's for your good only...doctor you don't worry we will make sure he will follow all your orders."

     Om assured doctor.. doctor smiled and left from there. Shivaay started thinking about the ways.

"Now what?? How can I reach to the truth if I am not allowed to go out of the mansion?"

     He came out of his thoughts when Khanna came there to inform Om that car is ready. Shivaay looked at Khanna.

"Khanna? Yes he can...but no...what if mom gets to know about it??"

      He again came out of his thoughts when Rudra called him. He nodded when Rudra said they have to leave now.

      Soon they reached to the Oberoi Mansion. Daadi did Shivaay's aarti and then Pinky was about to do same but Shivaay said he is not feeling good and want to rest. OmRu nodded and helped him to go to his room. Pinky just looked at his back. From the day he got his consciousness back he didn't talk to her, not a single word.

     Reaching to his room Shivaay send OmRu away saying he wants some rest also ask Rudra to call Khanna to give him details about his medicines. Rudra nodded and then left from there with Om.

"Khanna, I want your help."

      Shivaay said as soon as Khanna entered into his room.

"Yes sir...you need something?"

"Yeah...information."

"Information?? About what?"

"About Annika. I want to know where is she right now? What she is doing? Where she is staying from last two weeks...each and everything."

       Shivaay looked at Khanna after saying this and saw him confused and scared about something. So Shivaay continued,

"Yes Khanna...I want to know each n everything about her. So that I can take revenge."

     Khanna looked at him shocked.

"What????"

"Yes whatever she did with me, this family she can't go away without any punishment right? I want to take revenge of each n everything she did with me and this family."

"But sir.... How can you..."

"Khanna do as per I said... I want all the information as soon as possible."

     Shivaay shouted and Khanna nodded in yes.

"Ok then what are you waiting for? Go and start your work."

     Khanna nodded and left from there. Shivaay smiled a bit.

"Now even if mom gets to know about it she will think I am still angry on Annika. So she will not try to harm Annika more."

       He said to himself and then his eyes felt heavy due to those medicines so he slept.

"Whatttt?? Are you serious Khanna?"

     Rudra was so shocked after hearing from Khanna that his Bhaiya wants revenge from his bhabhi.

"Yess Rudy baba...Shivaay sir wants revenge from Annika mam. I just ran from there and then directly came to you both."

    Khanna answered looking at OmRu.

"I can't believe it O. Shivaay Bhaiya doing this? Why??"

     Rudra was still in shock.

"Rudra you know his condition right? He is hurt and for him it was Annika bhabhi's mistake."

       Om tried to explain.

"But still O...how can he says something like this? Let's go and tell him everything."

      Rudra said and was about to go to Shivaay but Om stopped him.

"Are you mad Rudra? Already he is not in good condition. What will happen when he gets to know the truth?"

"But O...ok fine even if we will not tell him the truth but what about this? He asked Khanna to find out about bhabhi. Now what will Khanna do?"

"Yeah I am also worried for that only. Now what will I say to Shivaay sir?"

     Khanna asked Om worriedly.

"Khanna don't worry...after some hours just go to Shivaay and tell him that you tried but you didn't get any information about her. He can't go out of the mansion so right now he can't do anything. Truth will come out one day we all know. But let's stay silent for now for him and for bhabhi's sacrifice."

     Om said and Rudra and Khanna nodded.

"O can we tell bhabhi about this?"

     Rudra asked and Om immediately nodded in no.

"No Rudra. Bhabhi is busy in her new job. Also already she is worried for Shivaay. Don't give her more stress. Like I said one day everything will be fine. We have to wait."

      Om said and Rudra agreed.

Next day,

       Tej entered into Shivaay's room and saw everyone was present there from before.

"So you all are here only. Great. I have some good news for you all.... specially for Shivaay.... Shivaay finally Mr. Jha is ready to work with us in our new project."

       Shivaay smiled slowly.

"Congratulations bade papa."

     He said others also congratulated him.

"So Shivaay we are giving one party on your birthday and there we will make this deal final."

     Tej said and everyone looked at him shocked.

"Party?? Dad are you serious? Shivaay is not in good condition to attend business meetings and parties. He need rest."

     Om was the first one to react.

"I know Om. And you don't worry this party will happen in our mansion only."

    Came an answer from Tej.

"But dad..."

     Now Rudra started but Tej didn't give him chance to speak.

"I know what you all want to say. But let me tell you everything in detail. See Mr. Jha and his younger brother both are handling their business together. So his brother is also part of our new project. And he shares his birth date with our Shivaay. So Mr. Jha said it will be great when we finalize this deal on that day. I told him about Shivaay's condition so he suggested that we will keep party in Oberoi Mansion and that's why I agreed. Now everyone understood??"

      Tej gave explanation and all other started thinking.

"But Tej, Shivaay is still weak and..."

     This time Kalyani Oberoi protested.

"Maa I know that you are worried about Shivaay. But party is in our mansion only and this project work is going to start after one month not now. So Shivaay will be fine till then. And this deal is very important for us...ask Shivaay."

      Tej said looking at Shivaay.

"Yes daadi that deal is very important for our Oberoi industries. But bade papa I don't want any kind of celebrations on my birthday."

"Why?"

      Pinky asked. Shivaay just looked at her but didn't answer. He turned his gaze to Tej and said,

"But I know this deal is very important so let's organize this party as Mr. Jha wants. But only to celebrate Mr. Jha's birthday not mine and then we will sign the deal."

        Shivaay said making Tej happy.

"Ok fine. As you say...I have to arrange everything and only four days in our hands. Let me hire some good event planner to plan everything."

     Tej said taking out his phone from his blazer pocket.

"Tej why you are worried about arrangements? Our Annika is here to...."

     Kalyani started but stopped realising what she was saying. She looked at Shivaay before looking down sadly. Pinky came to her.

"Mummiji everything will be perfect. You don't have to remember someone...I will take all responsibility for this project and will make everything perfect. Jethji you don't worry. I will call one best event management company and they and I will handle everything together."

     Pinky said to Tej. Shivaay was about to deny but then he thought if Pinky will be busy in party arrangements she will not get time to keep an eye on Annika or Khanna and so he can easily find out about Annika.

     Tej agreed and asked Pinky to take care of everything. Pinky nodded happily and left from there. OmRu looked at each other.

"I hope choti maa is not planning something again"

    Rudra whispered into Om's ears but Shivaay heard it as Rudra was standing near his bed.

"Don't worry Rudra...this time I will not allow her to do something with my Annika."

     He thought to himself.

       Shivaay opened his eyes slowly. His eyes still felt so heavy. It's because of that heavy  medicines. He sleeps for many hours after having them. He looked at wall clock.

"Five...it's morning or evening??"

     He said looking out of the window and realised it's evening. He sat on his bed and turned to the side table to drink some water but water jug was empty. He was about to call servant but then he needed to talk with Khanna. From yesterday he didn't come to visit Shivaay. And Shivaay was eagerly waiting for Khanna as he knew he will be successful in his task.

     Shivaay walked out of his room and looked around. He saw many people there. He was confused for a second but then realised they must be here for party arrangements as he saw lots of things needed for decoration there. He started walking towards the kitchen to have some water but stopped when he heard something. He turned and saw two workers talking with each other. One of them said,

"Why you are putting these flowers here? This area already has many photo frames if you will decorate this area it will not look good with these frames. Also we need to do everything perfect but with only few things...no need to waste much resources here... remember na what mam said we need to do some jugaad with everything...mehnat bhi bachti hai n yeh cheeze bhi. Now move I will show you."

     He said and just hang some flowers at the top.

"See only 7 flowers and it's looking beautiful."

     He said and that other man worked. Shivaay who was hearing all this remember something.

"Shivaay what are you doing?"

"Helping you."

"No need...you go and do your work. What you did ha? What's the need to add these lights here? Already this area is decorated with flowers no need to add lights again. Jugaad krna seekho like us middle class people...it will save your hardwork and also it looks great with only minimum things"

       Shivaay came out of his thoughts.

"Annika...."

    He walked towards those workers. They both stopped their work seeing Shivaay.

"You...you are working for whom? I mean tell me name of your boss."

    They both looked at each other and one of them gave one card to Shivaay.

"This is our company's card sir."

    Shivaay took that card and hurriedly read what's written on it.

"Parijaat events..."

     He looked up at those workers.

"Is the same one which won the award few days back for best event management company?"

     He asked and they nodded.

"And your boss name is Aditi Khurana??"

    They again nodded. Shivaay sadly smiled.

"Ok...you do your work."

"What happened sir? Is there any problem? You can tell us if our work is not good."

      One of them asked Shivaay.

"No no...you both are doing great. It's just I thought it's someone else but... nothing you continue."

     Shivaay said and they resumed their work.

"You are stupid Shivaay...mom is looking after all this arrangements why will she give any work to Annika which will help her to reach me."

     Shivaay said to himself and walked away.

After two days,

      Shivaay was sitting in the hall seeing all arrangements for the party. From last two days whenever he was not sleeping he used to come to hall to see all workers doing arrangements. It reminded him of Annika. In last two days many times he felt that it's Annika who was instructing them as their working style is same like Annika. But Khanna told him that she is not in Mumbai. Last night Khanna came to him and said he visited Chanda on Shivaay's saying and she said Annika left Mumbai as she got some job. She denied to give more details. Shivaay asked Khanna to find out but more than 24 hours passed but Khanna didn't come to meet him with the information he wanted.

"Mam is coming to check all things for the last time so make it fast."

    He heard one worker saying to others keeping his hand on his phone. Shivaay heard this and he decided to sit there for some more time.

"I know she is not my Annika but still I want to see who is it...Rudra said it's Aditi giving him instructions but no why will Aditi give some jugaad ideas to her employees when she is able to do expenses wherever she wants. But then who?"

    Yesterday he heard Pinky talking with Tej about arrangements and there he heard Pinky saying that one of the Aditi's employee handling all these arrangements. That time also he thought she must be Annika but then question remains why will Pinky allowed Annika to do this work.

      Shivaay came out of his thoughts when he saw Rudra coming to him.

"Bhaiya...chalo medicine time."

     Rudra said sitting beside Shivaay on sofa.

"Not now Rudra...please after sometime."

      Shivaay said looking at those tablets. He knew once he will eat those he will fall asleep on next minute. And today he wanted to clear all his confusion.

"No Bhaiya you have to take this."

"Rudra please after sometime."

"Noo..."

     Rudra forcefully made him eat tablets and soon Shivaay felt sleepy. Rudra helped him to go to his room and soon he slept.

"Annika...."

      Shivaay opened his eyes and looked around. Then he realised he saw some dream. He checked the time. It showed 9PM.

"Five hours.. I slept for five hours. I want to meet that girl. What if she Annika."

     Shivaay hurriedly got up and walked out of the room. But saw no worker was present there.

"What happened Billu?"

       His daadi who was giving some instructions to servants saw him and came to him.

"Daadi...Annika?"

     Daadi looked at him confused.

"Huh??"

"I...I mean their boss was coming to see arrangements na?"

    Shivaay said looking around.

"Ohh Aditi? Yeah she came and everything is ready now."

      Daadi replied.

"Aditi? And what about that other one?"

"Who?"

"The one who was looking after all these arrangements."

"Ohh she...she used to come everyday here. Today I didn't saw her but. What happened?"

    Shivaay was shocked hearing daadi met that girl.

"You met her?"

     Daadi nodded in yes.

"Yeah many times."

"If she was Annika why daadi didn't tell me that? So Shivaay you was wrong...you were overthinking without any reason. It's clear from the first day only. Why will mom allow her to come here if she was the one who sent her away."

"Shivaay...kya soch raha hai?"

    He came out of his thoughts and nodded in no.

"K...kuch nhi."

"Let's have dinner then. I was about to come to your room with food. But now you are here so let's eat together."

     Shivaay nodded.

      Shivaay came to his room after having dinner and Om came behind him to give him medicines. Om left after giving him medicines and Shivaay was about to sleep but his eyes caught something. He walked towards the poolside and saw whole area was beautifully decorated. The decoration was same like the main hall decoration.

"Maybe bade papa asked them to do this."

     He said looking around.

"Don't know why but everytime I sees this decoration I am missing Annika more. Everytime I feels that it's same as she used to do."

     He said and then walked towards the sofa there and lie down on that. He then opened Annika's picture on his phone.

"Only two days Annika...doctors said I can go out after two days. Then I will find out where are you even if you don't want me to know. And then you have to come back I don't want to listen anything."

     He said caressing his phone and then he felt his eyes heavy so closed them. But opened them after a minute as he felt someone's touch. He was confused and then he heard,

"Shivaay...."

"Annika..."

         Shivaay opened his eyes immediately hearing that voice and his eyes met hers.

"Annika you...you are here..."

     She smiled. He tried to get up but she stopped him.

"I...I missed you."

     Shivaay said looking back into her eyes. She smiled caressing his cheek and then leaning towards him she whispered into his ears,

"Happy Birthday Shivaay..."

    A smile crept on his lips. She looked at him and then kissed on his forehead softly.

"I wish you all the happiness Shivaay... Stay happy always."

      Shivaay heard this and held her hand which was on his cheek.

"Only if you are planning to stay near me."

"I am here...always..."

"No you are not."

     He replied.

"I am Shivaay. Don't think about anything. Just close your eyes now. You need rest."

     She said caressing his cheek and he closed his eyes.

"You will not go away from me again, promise me."

     He asked after closing his eyes but didn't get any response.

"Annika..."

     He opened his eyes getting no answer and saw no one was there. He looked around but he was alone there. He laid back on the sofa.

"I thought today she really came...but it's also a dream like everyday."

      He said and slowly closed his eyes.
