One of the highlights of each school year is the Charlotte family's annual Halloween party. Considering, how many people are in the Charlotte household, it's not surprising that this highschool bash has been going on for generations. An invitation to this event is like the ticket of the century.

"Y-y-you're really inviting me?!?!?!" Sanji could barely believe, that the prettiest girl in his home ec. class, Charlotte Pudding, was inviting him to their Halloween Party. He was expecting to have to beg for an invitation, but she was just handing one to him.

"Of course, Sanji!" Pudding told him sweetly. "I'm inviting all of my friends!"

'We're friends?!' He thought to himself. Sure, they had spoken a couple of times (mostly because of class), but he hadn't even dared to think that she would consider him her friend.

"Of course I'll be there!!" He shouted intensely, surprising Pudding.

"Really? I'm so glad..." She told him. Sanji noticed that she was blushing slightly, and this caused his mind to run wild.

'Could she be....interested in me...?!'

His thoughts were interrupted by the bell.

"Ahh! Well, I'll see you later, Sanji." Pudding said before running off.

Sanji was elated. Finally it seemed like a girl actually wanted to be around him. He had always admired Pudding for her talent in baking, but now that he really thought about it....

"Maybe this feeling is love!!" He said aloud. "I now see why a blockade was set between me and the senior ladies... Pudding needs me!!"

"Will you please go to your next class?" His teacher asked.

However, Sanji could not hear a thing, but was rather planning out how he would ask Pudding on a date.

"And just like that, she gave me an invitation!" Luffy ate his lunch as he listened to Sanji tell his friends about this Halloween thing going on.

"Is this party really that great?" Usopp enquired.

"It's more than great it's-it's- well actually. This is my first year being invited..." Sanji admited with a sheepish grin.

"Eh, it's okay." Zoro chimed in.

Sanji despised the fact that Zoro had been invited every year, but he wasn't going to let that ruin the happiness he was feeling in this moment.

"The foods pretty great though." Zoro added as he stared absentmindedly across the room.

"Really?! Aw man I hope I get invited!" Luffy said dreamily as he imagined what different foods might be at the party.

"C'mon Luffy, there's no way that two nameless freshman would be invited to this. It seems like a pretty big deal." Usopp told him with a sigh.

"Maybe you guys can be someone's plus one!" Perona said as she walked up to their group.

"Zoro!" Luffy looked at Zoro with pleading eyes.

"Ahh sorry." Perona spoke up once again. "He's already taking me!"

"Sanji!!" Luffy tried once more.

"Eh?! There's no way you would be my plus one! Then I'd be responsible for whatever chaos you create!" Sanji knew better than to let Luffy go to one of these things.

Luffy moped, defeated. If the food was really that great, then of course he would want to be there! But if there was really no way to go then he supposed that it would be okay. He and Usopp could still hang out.

"Hey Nami!" Nami heard someone greet her and turned to see Charlotte Smoothie approaching her. "You'll be there Saturday, right?"

"Of course! Last year was amazing, so I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

"Ahh great." Nami barely knew Smoothie, so it surprised her that she was even asking her this.

However, she did have an idea of why she would be checking to see if she was going.

"Is Oven going to be there...?" She asked her, hoping that her answer would be no.

"Yeah, he is." Smoothie replied with a sheepish grin "I'll see you later, okay?" She said before walking away.

Nami sighed. Oven had a crush on her last year, and despite him having graduated already, she had a feeling that he still liked her.

"Nami?" Her thoughts were interrupted by Vivi who suddenly approached her.

"Eh?!" She said surprised. "Oh...hi Vivi..."

"Uhh why do you have such a disgusted look on your face?" She asked slightly amused.

"I'm just thinking about...Oven..." she said with a fake gag. "I'm just so weirded out by the fact that he liked me! He was a senior, basically an adult, and I was a freshman!" Nami went on about how old Oven is.

"Wait...aren't he and Sabo the same age?" Vivi interrupted.

Nami stopped for a second. "W-well that's different! Sabo looks way younger!"

"Okay? He's still 19. Just like Oven." Vivi continued teasing her.

"Uggh stop it Vivi! You just don't like me with him!" Nami raised her voice.

"You know that's not true." Vivi told her. "I just want what's best-"

"He is what's best for me!" Nami exclaimed before Vivi could finish.

Vivi sighed. "Alright Nami...why were you thinking about Oven anyway?"

"Just because of the party this Saturday." Nami told her.

"O-oh" Vivi didn't want to bring it up, but she hadn't been invited yet. Which really sucked... she had gone every year... and now she couldn't help but think that Ace was the only reason she was invited.

"Wanna sleep over on Friday?" Nami asked. "We can get ready for the party together!"

"Ahh sure Nami!" Vivi was sure that she was overreacting. All of the seniors were usually invited, so of course she wouldn't be any different. She just had to be patient.

Hancock stared at the invitation that she found in her locker. Every year, she had been invited, and every year she stayed home.

It's not that she didn't like parties, but rather that it's always on a Saturday. And Saturdays are for Salome. Everyone knows that.

But she didn't really care that much. There would be other parties and events. However, a part of her was curious about it. It was her last year...

"But how would I explain this to Salome?!" She exclaimed, reaching for the air.

"Hi Hammock! Whatcha doing?" She heard a voice behind her. She turned around and saw him.

"What do you want, boy?" She asked Luffy.

"Uhh nothing...you just looked like you were having fun!" He tried to explain.

"Well I'm not, okay? Now, get out of my sight."

"Why can't we just be friends, Hammock?" Luffy asked genuinely confused. They saw each other every day in study hall, so they might as well be friends.

"Why are you so obsessed with me?" She retorted.

"Hah?!" Luffy had no idea what she was talking about.

"Ba-bye!" She sang, hoping that she successfully destroyed any desire he had for a friendship.

'Weirdo...' Luffy thought as he walked away.

"Thanks for waiting for me!" Luffy thanked Usopp as they exited the school.

He had somehow convinced Usopp to wait for him until after school tutoring was over.

"No problem Luffy." Usopp replied absentmindedly. "Guess what!"

"Ooh! What? what?!" Luffy enquired.

"I'm going to the Halloween party!"

"Wha-?! How??" Luffy asked.

"Kaya said I could be her plus one! Man I'm so excited!"

"Eh?! Now I'm the only one who isn't going.." Luffy was fine with not going as long as he had Usopp. But now all of his friends were going to have fun without him.

"Ahh I'm really sorry buddy...hey I'll try to sneak some of the food for you!" Usopp told him.

"Thanks I guess..." sure Luffy wanted to try the food...but he wanted to do so with his friends. He tried to figure out some ways he'd be able to go, but couldn't think of anything. Instead, he sighed in defeat.

"AHAHAH 'You're really inviting me?!?'" Luffy and Usopp suddenly heard some people laughing in front of the school. "I can't believe how dumb that Sanji kid is!"

Luffy tensed at the sound of his friends name.

"Th-that's Pudding!" Usopp whispered.

"He is seriously thirsty. AHA He would literally fall for anything that's female!!"

Usopp couldn't believe what he was hearing. And Luffy...really wanted to punch that girl.

"AHAHAH!!! He doesn't know how badly we're going to embarrass him on Saturday!!"

Right when Luffy was about to charge at her, Usopp grabbed his arm.

"Woah, dude! What are you trying to do?!" Usopp held onto him as tightly as he could. If Luffy were to hurt her, there's no telling what her brothers or even Sanji would do to him.

"Let go Usopp! You heard what she said about Sanji!"

"Luffy! She's a girl! I'm mad too, but what would Sanji do if he were here." Usopp tried to reason with him.

"I don't know...and I don't care either...." Luffy said grimly.

"Well I do know! He would kick your ass!"

"Usopp."

"Y-yeah?" Usopp could hear the anger in Luffy's voice.

"I'm definitely going on Saturday."
