Meet The Parents
***Elik's POV***
I groan heavily as my phone goes off, alerting me of yet another day of work.
Monday's suck.
I roll over to kiss my adorable Dek. His soft whistles escape his lips and I listen to the soothing sound. I nuzzle my nose into his neck and plant feather light kisses on his skin. His body reacts and he immediately wraps his hands in my hair. I smile into the kisses. God, this man is my fucking everything.
"Good morning light of my life." I whisper into his ear.
"Mmmmm good morning my love." Dek pulls back and his eyes land on mine. Hazel to blue. What a magnificent site.
I kiss his lips softly as I close my eyes and absorb his touch.
"Do you have class today?" I ask against his lips.
"Yeah, all day." He confirms.
"My parents want us at their house by six thirty." I announce.
"I will be ready." Dek confesses.
"Are you nervous?" I wonder aloud.
"No, not at all. Just meeting my future in-laws. No big deal, right?" Dek groans. I laugh.
"They will love you." I promise as I give him butterfly kisses against his cheek.
"You sound confident." Dek jeers.
"That is because only a dummy couldn't see you are amazing. My parents happen to be intelligent." I soothe.
"You're biased." He mumbles as he plays with the hair at the back of my neck.
"Sue me." I shrug.
"I will call Uncle Ian." Dek giggles and I feel my heart flutter.
Could he get any fucking cuter?
I smack my baby's ass lightly. "Up you go babydoll. We gotta leave the bed."
"Don't wanna." He whines.
"That's not the point." I chuckle as I pull him outta bed with me.
Dek fake coughs and I roll my eyes playfully.
"Do you need to see a doctor?" I tease.
"It's nothing a day in bed with you and making love won't cure." Dek winks and I hold back from attacking his adorable ass.
"Don't pull that shit with me. You know damn well you aren't skipping class." I chastise him jokingly.
Dek huffs and laughs as he starts getting dressed.
"It was worth a try." He kids.
"After dinner I will make it up to you." I promise as I grab his waist and kiss his lips.
Once we are ready, we go down stairs and eat the delicious waffles that Ana made for us. I set an envelope on the counter for her as she cleans up and we head out the door.
"What was that?" Dek asks.
"What?" I play dumb.
"The envelope handsome. Don't be cheeky." Dek warns me.
"A thank you to Ana. She spoils all of us. She takes care of eight instead of the three she is used to. I appreciate that." I tell him as I hold his face in my hands.
"What did you give her?" Dek asks.
"Two gift certificates to The Palm. Two spa packages. Two tickets to the opera. And a letter." I confirm.
"What was the letter?" Dek raises an eyebrow.
"To the Cadillac dealership." I shrug.
"Elik!" Dek smiles brightly at me.
"Her car is old. I want her to have a better one. The dealer is going to give her what she wants and I will come by tomorrow to pay." I explain.
"No, I will buy the car." Dek insists.
"Whatever makes you happy, baby. I got to get to work. I will see you at 5:30pm." I kiss my sweet man and head to my Porsche.

I arrive home around 4:30. I left early. I was bored of staring at my computer screen all day. When I enter the house I am met with a very stern look on Ana's face.
"Hey Ana." I kiss her cheek and smirk.
"Wipe that grin off your face Elik. I'm upset with you." She smiles completely countering her admission.
"Ana, you know I would run away with you if you weren't married. Let me spoil you." I kiss her hand.
She slaps me on the back of my head.
"Does Deklyn fall for that bs?" Ana giggles.
"Sometimes!" I shrug.
"Thank you." She whispers. "You boys are too good to me."
"We could say the same about you." I bop her nose with the tip of my finger.
"Leave now and you can make it to the dealership. They close at 8pm." I order her.
"Harold is already there. I will see you in the morning sweet pea." She hugs me and I can see she is really excited.
"Maybe I should work for you!" Zaya laughs.
"That's the plan." I wink at her.
"I'm just kidding." She laughs. "But, I am going to work for you."
"I'm looking forward to it." I kiss her temple as I walk by her.
"Is there anything you need Zaya? Anything. We can get it for you." I promise her.
"No, I already use Dek's truck, you guy's house and eat all your food." She giggles.
"Yani eats all the food." I correct.
"Damn right I do!" Yani smiles while eating her fruit.
"If any of you" I point to all four of the girls. "Need or want, a single thing let us know." I demand.
"We want our New York shopping trip." Cali barks.
"This weekend?" I offer.
The girls squeal and I smile at them. They are easy to please.
"What about us?" Broady jokes, pointing to himself and Chance.
"You guys don't pretend. I know if you need something you ask." I clarify.
"True." Broady fist bumps me.
"Dek is meeting my parents tonight. They have invited all of us. It is at 6:30 if you want to join." I offered.
"Yes!" They agree.
Dek opens the door and throws his book bag on the counter before heading towards me and kissing my lips.
"Mmmm welcome home." I whisper into his ear.
Dek holds my face and kisses me hungrily. His tongue runs along my bottom lip and I grant him his request. He hungrily delves into my mouth and our tongues twist together in a soft fight for dominance. I wrap my arms around his waist and pull him flush against my body. His lips devour my own and I moan in pure enjoyment.
I drop my hands to his ass and lift him up. He wraps his arms around me and I carry him to the island in the kitchen. Our kiss never breaks and I stand between his legs as I continue accepting his assault. When he pulls away for air his kisses trail down my neck and a shiver slides down my spine. He nips the skin at my neck and I know he is marking what is his.
"Leaving marks?" Chance asks. He walks up behind Dek and sticks a slobbery finger in Dek's ear.
Dek screeches and we all bust out laughing.
"We have to leave in an hour." I warn everyone.
We all separate to our rooms and change for dinner.
The drive takes forty minutes and we arrive at 6:15. We are greeted by my parents as we step out of the car. Mom's eyes light up as my arms wrap around Dek's waist.
Mom squeals. "OMG, Cali did no justice when she described you." Mom kisses Dek's cheek and pulls him away from me to engulf him in a hug.
I roll my eyes when Dek mouths help me. Cali laughs and we watch the attack of my mother's adoration.
"Dek this is my mom Margaret. That is my Dad Zayne." I introduce as I point to each of my parents.
My Dad pulls Dek from my mom's clingy hands and shakes his hand.
"You can call me Maggie." My mom offers.
"It's nice to meet you both." Dek smiled and I literally beam at his beautiful face.
"God of Angels, you are adorable." My mom completely fangirls.
Dek blushes.
"Awe, he's blushing." Broady pokes Dek's cheeks.
"Screw you." Dek punches Broady in the ribs.
My parents laugh, not offended by the banter.
I introduce all our group and we head inside towards the dining room.
Much to my surprise, the chefs aren't in the kitchen.
"Mom, where is the staff?" I question.
"I gave them the night off. This is family time." She admits.
"What are we eating?" I laugh. Mom is not a cook.
"Your father has steaks, grilled vegetables and potatoes on the grill." Mom confesses.
"Yes!" I fist pump the air. Dad is a great cook!
Dek laughs and mom kisses my cheek.
"Is there anything we can help with?" Dek asks.
"Nonsense. Go sit on the patio and I will bring you a drink." Mom shoos us towards the French doors that lead to the back garden.
A few minutes later we are seated around the patio and Mom hands us tea. I take a big gulp and almost spit it across the garden.
"Mom!" I yell after I swallow.
"What?" Mom smiles and giggles. I guess she thinks she's cute.
"It's tea." She laughs.
"It's Long Island ice tea." I playfully argue.
"Same thing." Dad guffaws.
"Thank you." I blow a kiss to my mom.
"Dek how is college?" Dad asks.
"It's fine. I enjoy it more than high school and less than cleaning toilets." Dek answers with a shrug.
We all burst out laughing at his bluntness.
"How are you doing? Elik told us about your parents." Dad questions. "I'm so sorry."
"I'm good. Really. It's definitely an adjustment. But, with these seven, I find it manageable." Dek confesses.
"Sweetheart, you are really a gem." My Mom pats Dek's hand. She is sharing the loveseat with us. Dek is squished between us.
"Thank you. But, really, family is what you make of it. I lost my parents but, I gained Elik and I still have my best friends. So, I have more than most." Dek whispers. I look over and his eyes are glazing over.
"Excuse us for just a minute." I apologize and grab Dek's hand. I lead him back into the house.
"Baby, are you okay?" I ask as I hold his angelic face between my palms.
"I'm good. Promise. Just emotional." He chuckles.
I kiss his lips and hold him to my chest, rubbing my hand down his back.
When he releases my hold, he intertwines our fingers and pulls me back to the garden. We take our seats once again.
"I apologize." Dek declares.
"That's not necessary." My Dad walks over and pulls Dek off the seat. He wraps his arms around him and hugs him tightly.
Dek melts into my father's 6'4" frame and a whimper slips from his lips.
All eight of us stare as Dek wraps his arms around my Dad.
"He's okay." Mom comforts me.
Dek stays in my dad's embrace for quite a while. My dad whispers things to him while he holds him. I just carry on a conversation with everyone else while they bond.
When Dad and Dek separate, Dad wipes Dek's tears and kisses his temple. I'm happy to see Dad treating Dek like he always has me.
I grab Dek's hand and sit him on my lap. He turns and starts talking to everyone.
Once dinner is ready, Mom sets our plates in front of us and we eat on the patio. Talking and laughter fills the evening air. Our friends banter and Mom and Dad join in on the fun.
By the end of the night, it is 10:30 pm. We say our goodbyes with promises to visit soon. My parents hug and kiss all eight of us. We load up in the SUV and head home.
"Wow." Dek breathes out.
"Not what you expected?" I ask.
"That's an understatement." Dek shakes his head.
"Told you they would adore you." Cali smirks.
"Your parents are awesome." Cherry adds.
"Yes they are." Dek confirms.
"I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves." I announce.
"Dek. What did Uncle Zayne say to you?" Cali asks.
I was meaning to ask as well.
"He said, I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to thank your parents for bringing you into our lives. You are our family now and you will always have a place in my arms. If you ever need a hug, my arms are waiting." Dek sniffles and I feel a tear drop down my face.
"God I love my parents." I whisper.
"I do too." Dek and Cali say in unison.
We talk for the forty minutes it takes to get home. Everyone is tired. We get home and I lay beside my heart, in our bed.
"I love you Deklyn." I whisper.
"I love you more." Dek purrs.
I lift my head and place kisses on Dek's chest as I make my way to his boxers. I kiss his shaft outside the material that is clothing my prize.
"What are you up to?" Dek giggles.
"Making it up to you." I wink.
Dek starts to say something. "That's not nec..." I cut him off when I take his tip into my mouth.
