One night I was sitting outside thinking, it was late but I could not sleep even though I needed it so bad. I was thinking of kyle but I could not remind myself of that time. A few hours later a man walks up to the door and he knocks not seeing me. I stand up and walk to him, asking him what he needs. He turns and asked,

" are you, Madeline "

" yes I am and you are "

" its kyle if you don't remember me? "

I gasp " I haven't seen you in years, and what are you doing here. I have been trying to find you for forever "

" Sorry, it took me so long to find you, but I'm here now."

" you could have been here years ago "

" I know and I'm sorry for that, I had to deal with that thing and you are hard to find"

I move to sit again but he grabs me and says " is there anything you want to tell me about the last few years "

" it's been more than a few"

He lets go of me " I have to say I'm now married to Ryan, the man you hated for years before we meet"

The door behind us opens and parker walks out " what are you doing baby, you should be in bed? "

"I had a bad dream "

" oh " I hug Parker and pull him to my lap and start to rock him

" who is this?" Kyle asks me

" this is parker, my son "

" how old "

" I'm 4 and a half "

" yes you are "

After some time, Kyle looks at me with a worried look then he points at Parker than to himself. I nod a yes. Then he puts his face in his hands. Now he knows Parker is his, but the other man in my life is harder to tell. We sit like that for about 20 mins and Parker has fallen asleep in my arms. I start to stand to put Parker back in bed. Kyle stands with me as I walk inside to place him in his bed, and he follows me to his room. I put him down then Kyle grabs my hand and turns me to face him and grabs my other hand and pulls me closer to the point where he is about to kiss me. Ryan walks in the room and sees this, he smacks Kyle trying to be quiet as to not wake Parker. He grabs Kyle's arm and pulls him outside so he can be louder. He yells " why are you kissing married women "

" Ryan this is the man I was telling you about that I met and loved before you "

" and you're letting him make a move on you even though you're married to me "

" that's not how I saw it "

" it was pretty clear to me "

Kyle speaks up " that's not what I was doing. I bet you don't know what she told me "

" and what's that " Ryan looks at me but keeping an eye on Kyle so he can't run off.

A tear runs down my face " Parker is not yours he's " more tears come racing down " he's kyles "

I turn and see Parker in the doorway, he's crying " what? Mom is that true "

Even more, tears come down my face " yes it is, the dad you've had forever is not your blood but he's still your dad "

He walks away to his room, I sit down on the steps crying as both of the men I love are sitting next to me.
