Recharges
Chapter 5
(Dammit, Kitty, I have cuddles on the brain now XD)
"Come in!" Marcus called.
"Hey, bud. How's the leg?" Natsuki called as she opened the door.
"It's fine." Marcus grinned at his aunt.
"That's a relief." Yuri grinned, stepping in as well.
"Yuri!" Marcus sat up on the hospital bed.
"Hello, Marcus. I'm glad your leg is feeling better." Yuri smiled softly at her godson.
"Yeah. The doctor says I can go home soon." Marcus informed.
"That's good. How long you gonna need that cast, though?" Natsuki pointed to the cast on his lower leg.
"A few months. At least." Marcus groaned.
"Sorry to hear that." Yuri said sympathetically.
"Well at least you get two weeks off of school." Natsuki shrugged, trying to lighten the mood.
"Guess so.." Marcus nodded.
There came another knock on the door.
"Hey, guys!" Sayori let herself in.
"Mama! I know you work here but you don't have to check on me every three minutes!" Marcus blushed.
"But I wanna make sure my baby is okay!" Sayori said in a baby voice, pinching his cheek.
Marcus grunted, swatting the hand as he blushed deeper.
"Mama!" Marcus pouted.
"We should be heading out." Yuri grabbed her wife's hand, smiling.
"Oh, okay. Bye!" Marcus waved as Yuri tugged Natsuki out the door.
~~~
"What was that about?" Natsuki asked as they entered the house.
Yuri stayed silent, a faint blush on her cheeks as she sat on the couch and turned her head away.
Natsuki sat down beside her, confused.
"You okay?" Natsuki asked softly.
Yuri tugged her wrist, pulling Natsuki against her as her arms encircled her.
"Y-Yuri?!" Natsuki blushed as Yuri buried her face in her neck.
"I just... Need a recharge..." Yuri said breathlessly.
"Recharge?!" Natsuki said, flustered.
Yuri nodded, closing her eyes as she hummed in relief.
Natsuki sighed in defeat, wrapping her arms around her lover as well.
Yuri picked her up, placing the pinkette in her lap to hold her closer.
"You're like a little kid, Yuri... So spoiled." Natsuki teased, playing with Yuri's violet locks.
"Mhm.." Yuri put up no argument.
Yuri leaned back against the couch, pulling Natsuki with her as her arms stayed firmly around her waist.
"Uh... Yuri?" Natsuki asked after a while.
"Yeah?" Yuri said softly.
"We've been at this for like... Twenty minutes..." Natsuki informed.
"So?" Yuri nuzzled closer.
"Are you charged yet?" Natsuki asked.
"Hmm... Nope." Yuri smiled against Natsuki's neck.
"How much longer?" Natsuki asked, blushing softly.
"Maybe..." Yuri paused, thinking, "Another twenty minutes."
"What?! What if we have to use the bathroom?!" Natsuki asked, blushing brighter.
"Do you need to use the bathroom?" Yuri countered.
"Well no but- What about dinner?! You know, the stuff we need to function?!" Natsuki asked in a squeak.
"The only thing I need to function is you." Yuri mused.
"T-Th- That's not science!" Natsuki cries incredulously.
"Is so." Yuri pouted.
"You're such an idiot!" Natsuki said, exasperated.
"I'm your idiot." Yuri smirked, not needing to look to know how flustered that comment made her sweetheart.
"S-Shut up!" Natsuki scoffed, trying to push away.
Yuri held her grasp firm, not budging against Natsuki's squirms and jerks.
"L-Let me go already!" Natsuki said, her blush growing worse and reaching her fingertips and ears.
Yuri pulled away, giving Natsuki the one thing she knew her lover could never, ever refuse.
What the- Sayori taught her puppy eyes?! N-Not fair!
Natsuki whined, trying in vain to look away from the cursed pitiful expression.
"Ugh-!" Natsuki scoffed, her eyes glued to her darling's pleading ones.
Natsuki groaned, hugging her Yuri tightly and rubbing her back.
Yuri grinned, relishing in the touch.
"Thank you..." Yuri whispered with a grin.
"Be quiet!" Natsuki snapped, pouting.
Natsuki smiled softly, leaning into the touch.
I could get used to these recharges... Occasionally...
"Hey, Sayo!" Monika smiled as her wife walked in.
"Hey, Moni! Where's Jeejee?" Sayori asked, glancing around.
"At her little girlfriend's house." Monika chuckled, smirking.
"Cute." Sayori giggled.
Monika nodded, smiling at her wife.
"Moniii!" Sayori whined as she sat down.
"Yeah?" Monika came behind her and wrapped her arms around Sayori's neck in a hug.
"I need cuddles, stat!" Sayori puffed her cheeks in a pout.
"Right away." Monika came around the couch and sat beside her, holding out her arms.
"Nooo! I wanna hold you!" Sayori pulled Monika into her embrace, lying down on the sofa.
Monika squealed at the sudden jerk, but complied willingly nonetheless.
"Yayy!" Sayori cheered, running her fingers through Monika's hair as the woman laid atop her chest.
"Sayori, I love you, but sometimes you act like more of a child than- Well- Our children." Monika snickered.
"Yet you love me anyway." Sayori grinned.
"Can't argue there." Monika rolled her eyes with a smile.
"And you know you love it when I spoil you like this. Holding you, stroking your hair... You love it and you know it." Sayori smirked.
"I-I-!" Monika blushed.
"Don't deny iit~" Sayori sang.
Monika huffed, rolling her eyes in a fuss as she hugged her wife back.
Monika glanced up at her lover after some time, still blushing softly.
Sayori looked down to meet her eyes, smiling lovingly.
"Kisses?" Sayori asked, batting her eyelashes.
"Sure." Monika grinned broadly.
She leaned up, connecting their lips as Sayori tangled her fingers through Monika's hair.
"I love you." Monika mumbled between tender kisses.
"I love you, too." Sayori answered barely above a whisper, smiling against her world's lips.
Monika pulled away, sighing in relief as she rested her chin on Sayori's shoulder.
"I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you in my life..." Monika admitted softly.
"Probably marry some loaded guy with good looks and have eight kids." Sayori deadpanned.
"As if!" Monika scoffed with a grin, lightly smacking the back of Sayori's head.
"Sorry sorry." Sayori giggled.
"You're probably right, though... I probably would've married whoever my parents told me to for publicity..." Monika pondered.
"Ew, don't even mention those assholes..." Sayori pouted.
"Ugh, I know. They were awful." Monika agreed.
"Well, they were good for one thing, at least." Sayori said.
"What would that be?" Monika asked.
"They made you." Sayori grinned, kissing Monika's head.
Monika blushed, hugging her everything tighter as a wide grin broke out across her face from ear to ear.
"You're amazing, you know that?" Monika chuckled.
"Really? I had no clue." Sayori joked.
"I mean it. You always say just the right things." Monika said.
"Well, it's just so easy with you. When I'm with you, the right things just... Come to me. You're my muse, petals..." Sayori muttered against her ear.
Monika shivered, grinning as she squeezed Sayori between her arms.
"You charmer." Monika chuckled.
Sayori giggled, relaxing in her wife's arms as she continued playing with her hair.
Monika began singing a familiar tune, their special song.
"Everyday, I imagine a future where I can be with you...~" she sang softly.
Sayori sighed, listening in contempt as her wife's wonderful voice rang through her ears like the sweetest bell.
