Chapter 24

Natsuki let out a long groan as she sat up in bed for the fourth time that night.

"Mommy's coming, Mommy's coming..." Natsuki muttered, rubbing her eyes as she walked to the room housing her children down the hall.

She opened the door to see Winter standing in the crib, wailing with a beet red face.

"Let me guess. You're hungry?" Natsuki put her hands on her hips, watching as the baby stopped crying and stared at her.

Winter gurgled and babbled, bouncing on her toes as if trying to escape her crib prison.

Natsuki giggled and walked over, picking Winter up as she saw Naomi was still sleeping soundly.

"Tough kid." Natsuki smirked and covered Naomi with her blanket.

"Come on, ya crybaby." Natsuki teased as the child in her arms let out a screech and pouted.

"Good thing you can't talk yet." Natsuki booped her nose with a grin as Winter babbled on.

"Uh huh. Keep talkin to me." Natsuki giggled as the baby gurgled and babbled excitedly, seemingly telling her a story.

"Oh yeah? And then what happened?" Natsuki mused as she set Winter in her high chair to eat.

"No!" She fake gasped, her eyes widening as the baby kept telling her story.

"Oh wow sounds like a crazy story." Natsuki nodded and handed the bottle of baby formula to her daughter.

Winter squealed and guzzled it down quickly, pulling away with a hiccup.

"I keep telling you not to chug!" Natsuki laughed, picking Winter up to burp her over her shoulder.

Winter soon fell back asleep as her mommy bounced her softly over her shoulder, making Natsuki sigh in relief.

Natsuki walked back to the nursery and set little Winter beside her sister, smiling at her.

"Goodnight, Winny." Natsuki whispered, kissing her forehead as Winter started to doze off.

She walked around and kissed Naomi's forehead, smiling as her other daughter made a hum and shifted.

"Sweet dreams, babes." Natsuki whispered, winding up a The Tiny Mermaid music box as Under the Ocean started playing.

She walked back to her bed and flopped down onto it, causing Yuri to shift and wrap Natsuki into her arms.

"Naomi?" Yuri asked sleepily.

"No, Winter." Natsuki answered, running her hands through Yuri's hair.

Yuri hummed and moved again, laying atop her wife as her eyes fluttered open.

"I'll get them next time..." Yuri offered with a yawn.

"No, you get them during the day... You need the sleep." Natsuki smiled and kissed her forehead sweetly.

"But that's because you work during the day time! Let me help you out once in a while!" Yuri whined, snuggling her face in the crook of her lover's neck.

Natsuki giggled and held her tightly, sighing softly with a big grin on her face.

"It's okay, gorgeous... I can handle a few bottles and diaper changes." Natsuki said softly into Yuri's ear.

Yuri whined and shook her head as another yawn escaped.

Yuri didn't answer again, having fallen back asleep in Natsuki's hold.

Natsuki chuckled and sighed, falling asleep soon after to the sound of Yuri's quiet snores.

"Come on, Winter! Say 'Jessica'! Jeh-see-cuh!" Jessica said slowly, bouncing the little one year old in her lap.

"No, Winter! Say 'Summer'! Suh-mrr!" Summer argued as Winter turned her head towards the blonde.

Sayori chuckled from her place on the floor, playing peek-a-boo with Naomi as the girl squealed and clapped her hands.

"Kids, I don't think she's big enough to talk yet." Monika chuckled, coming into the room with a bottle of watered down apple juice and a bottle of low fat chocolate milk.

Winter's eyes widened as she outstretched her arms towards Monika, babbling.

Monika giggled and offered the bottles as Winter instinctively grabbed the chocolate milk.

"Sayo, heads up!" Monika called, tossing the other bottle towards her wife.

Naomi giggled and crawled over into Sayori's lap, reaching for her beverage.

"Why can't we babysit by ourselves, mom? We're ten!" Jessica whined in a pout.

"Because you're still just a bit too young, petals. Maybe when the twins are a bit older, you and Summer can watch them alone." Monika shrugged and ruffled Jessica's hair as the girl groaned in annoyance.

Summer giggled and patter her friend's back with a sly smile.

"But I'm responsible..." Jessica pouted, huffing as she bounced Winter on her lap.

Everyone laughed at Jessica's attitude, making the girl blush and turn her face to the side.

"M... M..." Naomi scrunched up her face.

"Yuri, get in here! I think Naomi's about to say her first word!" Natsuki yelled.

Yuri perked up from the table and raced upstairs, collapsing beside her wife.

"Ma... Mo...m..." Naomi tried again.

"I think she's going to say Mama!" Yuri grinned.

"What? She's obviously saying Mommy!" Natsuki said teasingly, also grinning widely.

"Mmm... Mommy!" Naomi clapped as she finally said the word.

"She said... She said Mommy! I'm Mommy!" Natsuki cheered, her heart fluttering.

Winter crawled over and collapsed in Yuri's lap, hitting her head on the ground between Yuri's legs.

"Oh!" Yuri chuckled, sitting the girl upright.

"Mama... Hungie..." Winter yawned and outstretched her arms.

"Holy shit." Yuri muttered, "Suki, did you hear that?!"

"Hear what?" Natsuki turned her attention from the two year old bouncing on her lap.

"Ma! Ma! Hun. Gie." Winter clapped each syllable.

Natsuki laughed at her daughter, reaching over to kiss Winter's cheek as the toddler giggled.

Yuri stroked over Winter's short, curly pink hair and smiled lovingly.

"Okay, sweetie... Let's get you some crackers and chocolate milk for a snack." Yuri giggled, standing as she set Winter on her hip.

"Say it again, Naomi! Say 'Mommy'!" Natsuki bounced the girl on her lap as her short violet hair bounced as well.

"Mommy! Mommy Mommy Mommy!" Naomi squealed and rested her hands on Natsuki's chest.

Naomi made a kissy face as Natsuki laughed and gave her daughter a kiss, causing Naomi to explode in laughter.

"You're going to be such a handful when you get bigger, I can tell." Natsuki smirked and started tickling all over Naomi's belly as the girl howled with laughter and screeches.

"Okay, Winny. What do you want for dinner?" Natsuki asked, nudging Yuri so she could watch.

Winter stood, leaning against the wall as she walked over to the kitchen, pointing at the cupboard holding the canned goods.

Naomi saw her cue and ran over, grunting as she pulled it open.

Winter growled and kicked a can of corn on its side, then turned to her mothers.

"Hungie!" Winter said, pointing to the can as Naomi clapped and giggled at doing a good job.

"Uh huh. And what will we eat with the corn, Naomi?" Natsuki smirked as Yuri watched quizically.

Naomi walked to the fridge and bounced, pointing up at the freezer.

Natsuki walked over and picked her up, opening the freezer as Yuri walked over to watch.

Naomi leaned into the cold compartment and patted some frozen hamburger meat, grunting.

"Burgers and corn?" Natsuki laughed as the toddlers nodded.

"They're geniuses!" Yuri said in astonishment, grinning at her two and a half year olds.

"You should see how they clean their room. It's even cooler to watch." Natsuki snickered, setting Naomi down as she raced over to Winter.

She held Winter's hand as Winter put all of her weight on her sister, slowly walking over to the couch.

"Mama!" Naomi called as Winter struggled to climb on.

Yuri ran over and caught the girl before she fell, setting both girls on the couch.

"Mommy!" Winter clapped her hands and pointed to the remote.

"They want to watch Hailey the Horse again." Natsuki sighed and turned the television on as the two became engrossed in the cartoon horse galloping across the screen while the theme song played.

(I'm gonna ride, I'm riding free- Okay I'll stop XD)

"They're learning so much at such a young age..." Yuri said, still shocked.

"Yeah, wait till we put 'em in school. They'll dominate, I can see it now." Natsuki snickered.

"Now let's make some burgers and corn." Natsuki smiled.

"Okay, Suki." Yuri kissed Natsuki sweetly before turning to grab the food.

Our kids are great... Our kids... I never get tired of that...

Yuri sighed dreamily and glanced at her kids once more, smiling as she saw how happy they looked watching their favourite show.

Those kids sure are something... Must get that from the donor or Yuri 'cause no way in hell they have my brains...

Natsuki chuckled at the thought, shaking her head as she flipped a few burgers.
