That's about as practical as a screen door on a submarine.
Izuku winced when the water covered his feet. A red color washed down the drain as he stood in the shower. He decided to keep the water cool, hoping it wouldn't hurt his feet as much... Izuku can't even imagine what it would have been like if the water was hot!
Eventually, Izuku ignored it and got lost in his thoughts. He never knew vigilantes were so... heroic! They're the heroes this world needs. Too bad the world doesn't want them...
What am I thinking? They're criminals, just like anyone else who breaks the law!
But Izuku can't seem to convince himself that's true. He just can't do it.
Are vigilantes really all that bad? I feel like if you're sacrificing yourself and getting in trouble to save someone else if one of the most noble things you can do. Why does everyone see it like it's so bad?
"Izuku!"
"Ah! Sorry mom, I couldn't hear you, what?" Izuku made sure he was loud enough so his mom could hear him outside of the bathroom. He was so lost in thought he didn't hear a thing she said.
"I said to hurry up! Your foods gonna get cold!"
"Ok mom!" Inko walked away, satisfied with Izuku's answer.
Izuku got out of the shower quickly, dried off, and got dressed for school. He was only missing his shoes, which were by the door. So, Izuku pulled on his socks and headed for the kitchen table. Damn, walking stings so bad...
Izuku finished his food and put on his shoes with a quick goodbye to his mom.
What am I even doing anymore?
"No! Stop it! What wrong with you?! Ahh!"
The sound caught Izuku's attention immediately. No one else seemed to hear it though.
He looked down a dark alleyway, and what he saw caused his eyes to widen, but then sharpen into a calculating stare,
There was a young girl in the alley, and pinning her to a wall was some blond guy with a wide smile and staring eyes.
"Tsuki, you know I love you! Just come back darling! That's all I ask! Just come back to me, sweety! You wouldn't want to get anyone hurt, would you?!?!" He opened up a pocket knife.
Izuku had to stop this. He can't just let this happen! Izuku scans the area, and on the ground, about three feet from him, is a metal bar. Looked to be a piece off of a dumpster.
Izuku crept over, and picked it up. He walked silently behind the blond kid, and he was about five feet away. "Gah!"
He had stepped on a large rock, and had to place all his weight on one foot to keep his balance. His cuts sting like a brush fire, and the blond guy whipped around. Then, the girl ran past him and out of the alley while he was distracted.
"WHAT THE HELL?!?! You just made me lose my love! How DARE YOU?!?!!"
Izuku was charged at by the blond kid, and so he raised his bar. When the guy was about a foot away, he swung hard. Relentlessly. A loud bang and a swift crack were heard.
The man was now on the ground, and Izuku looked at him with horror in his eyes. Oh god, what if I killed him?!?!
But to Izuku's relief (but at the same time dismay) the man wobbled to his feet. Izuku doesn't know what to do. Hit him again? Hold him down? Call the police?
But in his sudden flurry of thoughts, the blond man had ran at Izuku again. Izuku wasn't quite as lucky this time.
The punk got a good swing in, and clocked Izuku in the temple. His head began to spin, and the world around him swirled. A ringing vibrated in his ears.
When he had finally gotten himself straight again, he was hit once more. This time in the gut. Izuku sucked in a sharp breath of air as the wind was knocked out of him. He rolled into the wall and started coughing.
But then, as his attacker was about to stomp his face into the ground, he heard a voice. "What the hell is wrong with you!?"
His eyes were half lidded, but he could still see the flash of light teal hair that flew by. A loud yelp was heard, and he saw the blond guy hit the ground. He had a large blotch of blood on the side of his head.
Suddenly, he was lifted off the ground. What's with this woman?! She can hold him in her arms like a baby!
"Hey, champ! You ok? You took a good ass whooping, hope you don't have a broken rib or anything. We should seriously get you to the hospital..."
Izuku put his hand on her shoulder as she started walking. "You can't do that..."
She looked at him curiously, but with a hint of hope. "And why not?"
"They'll ask questions, and what you just did was technically illegal... vigilante activity... you could get arrested." She smirked at him.
"And why does that matter?" She kept asking questions, like written words on a test. Rehearsed, almost.
"You were only helping me! There's no reason for you to be arrested when you did it to help me..." she gave him an award winning grin.
"Well, than I know just where to go! You pass!" Izuku was confused, but his head was throbbing and his vision had been blurry since he got hit in the head.
And so, he blacked out.
"Wait till Mota sees you!"
