"Enough?" Chanyeol asked gruffly yet he was the one bringing Baekhyun closer.

Baekhyun slowly let go as he gazed at Chanyeol's face.

"I'm hungry." Baekhyun stated as he stared at the other as if asking him to prepare dinner.

Scoffing, Chanyeol asked "I thought I told you the rabbit is your dinner?"

With disbelief, Baekhyun shook his head before stomping away to look for food. Yet the kitchen he discovered was bare and not a scrap of food appeared. Grumbling, Baekhyun went back to his room and surprisingly all the broken glass was gone. And even more surprising was a tray of food by the foot of the bed.

Without doubting if the food was poisoned or not, Baekhyun dugged in. The bunny from before hopped slowly over towards Baekhyun and nudged the other gently.

Baekhyun only smiled and pulled a piece of tomato from his sandwich before placing it before the bunny.

"Are you sure this is going to work?"

"Patience sire the boy can break the spell."

"How? How is it by giving him food work with breaking the spell?" Chanyeol asked impatiently as he roamed around his palace like room.

"You have to act kind to him so he can reciprocate the same to you and then the spell will be broken." The tiny red parrot squawked in its cage.

"If this doesn't work, you're going in my stomach." Chanyeol threatened as he glared at the bird before walking over to bed-a simple large black rug that stretched across the second floor.

He tossed and turned before finding the perfect spot and was drifting off to sleep when a creak on the floor made him snap his eyes wide open.

Without moving, he watched with his eyes the human who sneaked inside his room with that stupid bunny clutched tightly against him.

He continued to stare yet the human didn't notice, but instead roamed around Chanyeol's room.

Baekhyun curiously peeked around and finally landed his eyes on the taller who have already changed back into a wolf.

He steadily crept over to the gigantic carpet and observed the wolf. It was calmly sleeping with both paws stretched in front of him and its fluffy tail laid gently behind him. Baekhyun then reached his hand out and placed it on the wolf's head as he felt his fingers run against the ebony fur.

Chanyeol waited and waited as the human ran his fingers through his fur as if petting a cute animal-but Chanyeol wasn't any cute animal.

Once the human was about to stop, Chanyeol snapped his eyes opened and asked gruffly "What are you doing?"

The other jumped a bit in surprise before mumbling out a response "J-just looking around."

Chanyeol stared while his tail swished back and forth in a judging manner.

"Looking around?" The wolf questioned.

Unable to utter another sound, Baekhyun just nodded his head up and down.

"I-I'm going to bed now." Baekhyun answered before turning around. But before he could leave, the wolf sprang up and blocked the pathway to the door.

Slowly, he advanced towards the human as he examined the smaller's expression. Scared and worried while clutching the small bunny closer.

I wish I was the rabbit.

What am I thinking?

Growling, Chanyeol moved closer and Baekhyun stepped back, but because the step was too sudden, he fell backwards onto the large black rug.

With a small yelp, Baekhyun sat up with the bunny while the wolf padded closer and closer. So close that the smaller was trapped under the wolf's paws and eyes baring closely.

What felt like forever, the bunny began to shiver from the intense closeness of its predator. When Chanyeol wanted to scratch the bunny, the human was always a shield for the tiny animal which made Chanyeol feel intense hatred for the bunny.

Darkness consumed the moon as Chanyeol gnawed his teeth back and forth as if prepared to leap over.

"Hello." Chanyeol gruffly said surprising the smaller greatly because why was the wolf so spontaneous all of a sudden?

"C-can you not sleep?" He continued and tried to smile but only made it worse since his bared teeth stretched out.

The smaller confused with the sudden change of the wolf only bobbed his head and relaxed a bit.

"I-I miss my mom." Baekhyun opened up petting the sleeping bunny as Chanyeol sat there looking sorry.

Argh why do I have to listen to this midget?

"I miss her cooking an-and..." Baekhyun started sniffling with his eyes downcast as he thought about his family.

If he isn't the one who could break the spell I wouldn't have to be be acting nice to him. Can he really break the spell though?

"Don't you miss your family?" Baekhyun asked looking up at the wolf who was scratching the ground with its claws.

Peeking at the human, Chanyeol grumpily ignored the question. He hated talking about his past-his "wolf family"-his true human form before he somehow turned into this horrid creature.

Instead of focusing on the question, Chanyeol smelled it again.

A sweet, faint aroma of honey and vanilla. His nose unconsciously inched closer and closer towards the human until he was pressed against the other's shirt.

"M-Mr. Wolf?" Baekhyun asked not knowing what to do.

He gently patted the beast's head and then that was that. Baekhyun didn't know what happened but all he heard were snores and paws gripping his body which made him stuck in an awkward position on the black carpet.

The bunny by now bounced away, afraid of the closeness of the large wolf.

And all seemed well-but a bird from outside circled the place as it peered at the problematic wolf laying against a human.

Interesting...time to report to Mister D.O.
