Love
Legosi entered the garden. It was early in the morning, and he just wanted to take a morning stroll. After everything that had happened last night, he decided that he would take a laid back day and just enjoy himself.
Walking past the roses reminded him of Juno, the red flowers imitating her scent. He walked to the storage shed, about to knock on the glass door when suddenly, the curtains flung open, and Louis stood before him. They were both surprised to see each other.
"Oh... Hey Louis. Is Haru here?" The awkward wolf asked. The deer's cold exterior broke apart for a second, showing a nervous wreck just below the surface. He quickly straightened himself out, looking back at him with a calculated gaze.
"Uh- no, no, she's not. She's probably in her dorm. What do you want?" Legosi scratched his head, his claws noticeable enough to irritate Louis, but not enough to get him to react.
"Oh... well, I wanted to take a rose with me... you know... for Juno."
"Ah, I see."
"I was just hoping that it would be alright with Haru for me to take one."
"I'm sure it'll be alright. If not, I'll tell her that it was I who let you."
"Really? Thank you! It means a lot."
"I'm sure it does."
"Well, uh... I'll be off then. Bye."
Louis gave an internal sigh of relief. Took him long enough...
"Hey, Louis, what are you doing here anyway?"
What the heck?! Just leave already damn it...
"Well, the Gardening Club is participating in the festival, just like us. It's my duty as a third-year to make sure she's attending, so we're well acquainted."
"Makes sense to me. See ya," and with a final wave, Legosi left to find a rose.
Jeez... I was starting to think he'd never leave...
After having picked out a rose, he went to Drama Club and changed into his tracksuit. Not having much to do, he went ahead and adjusted the lights again, rechecking to see if they were aligned properly.
Looking into the large mirror along the wall made him realize that he had grown again. On any other day, he would have likely been slouched over, feeling all depressed as usual, but today he stood tall, not hunching at all. He looked over himself, his fur was more intense than he remembered. Was his happiness so powerful that it even affected him physically?
Legosi laid down, closing his eyes, the bright lights shining on his eyelids, leaving his vision a dark reddish-orange. He slowly exhaled, relaxing every muscle. His hand glided into his pocket, the sweet smell of the rose filling his mind as he brought it to his chest.
Suddenly his vision got darker as the smell intensified. Opening his eyes, he saw Juno standing above him, her beautiful eyes affixed to his. He sat up, and they kissed, the warmth traveling into his hand, still tightly clenched around the rose. When they separated, he handed it to her.
"I went up to the gardens today... And I thought I'd bring back the flower that reminded me the most of you." Legosi's words made her think. She adored his earthy scent. The idea that her scent reminded him of roses made her fall even more for him. For the next few moments, they laid together, together with their earth and rose scents.
It was awfully poetic. Roses grew upon the Earth, and the Earth would be sad and lifeless without flowers that grew upon it. But roses can't grow without earth.
"So how is the play for the Meteor Festival coming along?" he asked, holding her tight. Juno smiled as she laid her head on his chest.
"We thought it would be funny if I played the carnivorous dinosaur." Legosi laughed, the vibration in his chest tickling her. "Fits, doesn't it?" He pulled her closer to him. She softly started to caress his face, the two sharing another kiss.
"Want to see my dance routine?" Legosi sat upwards, pulling her up as well.
"Who wouldn't want to see you dance?" He said, getting another kiss as they both stood up.
Her dance was beautiful and rhythmic. She may have been a bit sluggish at a couple of movements, but just seeing how happy she was dancing made him just as happy. It was like being in a trance, her movements hypnotizing him, making him forget where he was or what he was even doing. She let out a frustrated sigh as she stopped, having made a mistake.
"I always mess that part up! It's so stupid... uh, Legosi?" Her boyfriend had removed his jacket, letting it drop on the floor. His T-shirt revealed his lean frame, which made Juno fall into a trance of her own. Her heartbeat quickened as Legosi approached her.
His right hand landed on her hip, his other grasping her right hand holding it outwards. Her free hand landed on his shoulder, their height difference just barely allowing it, forcing her to scoot closer. Legosi took the lead, dancing the Waltz. He had seen it enough times during rehearsal to know the steps and pacing.
Their eyes were fixated on each other, hearing nothing but each other's heartbeat. Legosi rested his head on hers as she leaned against his chest. Together they danced, flowing with their own rhythm and ending with a final kiss. This one was stronger than ever before, both of them not wanting the moment to end. They broke the kiss to get fresh air, their trance ending as they noticed that another member had entered the clubroom.
Louis had a genuine smile on his face, one that broke away the icy exterior he so desperately tried to uphold.
"Good morning."
"Good morning, Louis," Juno said as the deer left for the changing room. Legosi turned to her again, smiling happily.
"I should probably get ready for the arrival of the rest of the Art Department. Have fun during practice." They kissed again before departing.
It was sunny outside. The cool breeze brushing against the wolf's fur as he stood upon the scaffolding, mixing together a new batch of orange color.
"Hey, Kibi! Can you get me another can of yellow?" Legosi shouted down the scaffolding, the anteater walking towards the paint cans sitting at the foot of the statue. Legosi looked around, seeing the festival grounds clearly from his elevated position. A familiar white rabbit caught his eye.
Haru was tending to a couple of plants in the back of her stand. Another person approached her. Louis was walking towards her, the two sharing a kiss as Legosi watched from afar. So... they were a couple... now the times he saw him in the Gardening Club made more sense.
He was having a fling with the rumored school "slut." That was why he was so nervous when he was seen up there. The wolf kept watching intently as the two talked, obviously just as in love as Legosi and Juno was.
"Here, you go." Kibi handed the paint can to Legosi. Legosi picked it up, setting it down next to him and looked back at the couple for another few seconds. He smiled to himself as he opened the fresh can and poured some into the bucket, mixing the correct shade of orange as it was needed. He and Louis weren't really that different after all.
After finishing up the work on the statue for today, the art department wrapped up and took the metro back to the school. Haru and Louis sneaked into the back of the train, unbeknownst to most of the students taking. Legosi did notice, however, smiling as he thought of how happy the two looked just talking.
Arriving at school, he was greeted by Juno, her scent being more intense than usual, once again inviting him to go get dinner at the cafeteria. As they walked, he noticed that her tail was wagging differently. The more excited wagging now being a slow and rhythmic pattern. The way she was handling herself currently and how she smelt made his mind go foggy. Shifting his view away, he couldn't stop thinking how attractive her form from behind was.
Dinner was more so difficult, Juno's scent was absolutely intoxicating, her eyes glowed brighter than ever, her fur having intensified in color. He ate his food slowly, trying to concentrate on something other than how far down the cream color of her fur went...
The effect she had on him was obvious even to her. Every time he began to stare or advert his gaze, she smiled.
"Anything wrong?" she leaned on the table, sultrily looking at him.
"N-N-Nothing..." He stuttered profusely, his adorable expression of nervous arousing her further.
"I gotta show you something... My roommates are still out of town..." He shivered, not knowing fully what she meant, but his loins certainly did... Noticing this, he swallowed hard, crossing his legs. She stood up first, walking past him, her tail brushing against his arm, his head instinctively following her, sniffing. He stood up, snapping out of it. He sweat bullets as he was still trying to calm himself down.
The walk to her room was equally hard. He didn't know if she did it on purpose, but he had a hard time concentrating on anything else but her body, her hips, her thighs... her bu- he swallowed again, trying his hardest to calm down.
Upon reaching her dorm, she turned off the lights and closed the door behind them. Legosi's nocturnal vision kicked in as he sat down on her bed, allowing him to see her stand before him. Her hands wandered to his collar. Every touch made him shiver. She slowly loosened his tie before dropping it onto the floor completely. Legosi wanted to say something but couldn't. She began unbuttoning his shirt. His hands wandered to her sides as she continued, nothing but his insanely fast heartbeat hammering in his ears.
"Legosi..." she said, the loving tone almost bringing him to explode under the pressure.
"I love you" She kissed him, pressing herself hard against him. He grabbed her tightly, the pressure only being amplified, looking for a release. The two kissed under nothing but the moonlight, shining through the window. The two wolves softly and silently sunk into her bed, their demonstration of love continuing ferociously...
