Louis in Peril

That night Juno and Legosi both shared the same dream. In the suburban part of town was a lone house, music echoed through its halls and out of the windows. They were in that house, dancing to the music, both of them holding the other tightly.

They were both much older. Legosi was wearing glasses, and Juno was seemingly slower than she was now. Their fur had lost some of its shine, but their eyes were still full of energy.

Legosi awoke, the dream of becoming old together made his heart flutter. Juno noticeably snuggled herself deeper into his chest, her arms clutching him tightly. He breathed out softly, peeking past the curtains only to see that it was still dark. Legosi leaned his head back on the pillow, closing his eyes. He drifted back off to sleep with a smile.

After having awoken in the morning, the two had showered and gotten dressed. Seeing how early they had woken up, the two left to get breakfast. Today it was vegan bacon, scrambled eggs, and a few slices of toast.

Legosi sipped groggily from his orange juice, still half asleep, but a smile rarely left his lips. Juno herself was already excitedly eating.

"What's got you so hyper this morning?" he asked, wondering what made her so energetic. She looked at him and smiled.

"I dreamed of us..." This definitely caught Legosi's interest.

"I dreamed of us dancing... but we were older... you looked like you were around forty." She giggled. "And you wore glasses... I must admit, they looked good on you." She smiled, and Legosi held her hand on the table.

"That's funny, I dreamt of the same thing." He shifted closer to leaning over the table to kiss her.

"Hello, Legosi! And Juno!" Shouted the excited voice of Jack.

The couple separated as Legosi's best friend joined the table, the retriever seating himself next to Legosi.

"Legosi told me about you, by the way, I'm Jack, Legosi's number one pal." He held out his hand toward her.

"Nice to meet you," she responded while shaking his hand.

"How are you guys doing?" Jack asked, beginning to eat his own breakfast.

"We're good," answered Legosi, looking at Juno, checking if she was comfortable with Jack's presence. The she-wolf's tail was noticeably wagging behind her.

"So what were you guys up to?" Jack looked at both expectantly.

"Just eating breakfast, I suppose..." Legosi awkwardly answered. He looked at his girlfriend, seeing her eat her breakfast in peace put him at ease.

"Yo, what's up, Legosi, Jack, miss woman of the hour." The rest of the canine room had arrived, seating themselves at the table, Voss taking his own smaller table.

"So, we've been wondering... What's Legosi like in the sack," Voss asked unexpectedly. Legosi turned several shades red at the sudden question. Juno was equally in shock by the turn the conversation had taken, her expression taking on a devilish smile unbeknownst to Legosi, who was about to interject.

"Hey, that's none of your-"

"He scratches my itch, alright..." Legosi blushed even harder at the unexpected answer of his girlfriend...

"And does it really good too..." she cooed. The rest of the table had grown silent, not expecting a legitimate answer to their question. "And I especially love that Legosi only belongs to me and only me..." she leaned towards him, letting her smell intoxicate the wolf.

Ever since he smelled her scent of arousal for the first time, it was like a drug to him. Fogging his mind, letting that part of the primal beast out of him. She smiled, looking at the clock, noticing what time it was. "Well... we should go and get to Drama club." She stood up, walking past him, his head following her every time to get enough of her scent.

"I s-s-should get going too" Legosi picked up his tray and followed her scent, leaving the table to the Canines again.

"Damn... he's lucky... she's super hot." Voss said, staring at the two walking to Drama Club.

"Voss! It's his girlfriend you're talking about," Jack said, frustrated at the by the unrestrained nature of the fennec fox.

"What? He's the lucky one to get a girlfriend like that... none of the female fennec foxes are like that." He crossed his arms, sulking at the unfairness of love.

While Legosi followed Juno down the hall, he smelled the intense smell of stress... it was accompanied by the unmistakable scent of perfume... Louis.

"Juno, go get help and come find me. I think Louis is in trouble!" Legosi said before sprinting towards the source of the smell. Louis was pushing against a male cheetah trying to knock him over. The aggression of this feline was overwhelming.

Rage bubbled upward, as the cheetah started to win, trying to bite Louis in the neck. The wolf sprinted forwards towards them, unbeknownst to the attacker.

"Huh, not so strong now, you rich asshole." The cheetah was taunting Louis.

"I shouldn't have expected any less from a carnivore..." Louis pressed every word out individually, the strength of the cheetah overpowering him with only moderate push back.

Suddenly the pressure was gone, as he heard a fleshy impact. The cheetah crashed into the wall knocking his head as well. Pained growling signaled his anger, standing back up. As the feline saw the dark outline of the tall carnivore, their heart sank, the large shadow looming over him for just a second before the first punch to the face threw him to the ground.

He tried to recover, but more punches were already coming his way.

Punches were coming in rapidly, his arms pinned under the legs of the wolf as he had helplessly endured every single hit. After a while, the cheetah had lost consciousness, the blunt trauma having caused a concussion.

Legosi exhaled, his hands were bloodied as he looked down at the bruised face of Louis's attacker. He stood up, approaching Louis, who was in definite shock at the pure brutality this normally peaceful and docile wolf had inside of him.

"Are you alright?" The wolf asked him.

Louis swallowed... He was near speechless. Where the hell did all this come from, Legosi? Where've you been hiding this side of you all this time...

"I'm fine. Thank you."

"That's a relief. By the way, what are we gonna do with him?" asked Legosi, pointing to the still unconscious cheetah.

"Seems like something the headmaster will have to deal with. Of course, after we get him to the infirmary. You sure did a number on him... Legosi..." The once timid wolf has finally shown him what he was capable of.

"Maybe I went a bit too far..."

"Legosi! Louis! I brought help! Are you ok!? What happened!?" Juno came sprinting down the hall with Bill in tow. Upon arrival, he quickly noticed the cheetah.

"What the hell happened here!? Legosi, did you do this?" asked Bill, shocked by the scene before him.

"Well, I-"

"Yes. Yes, he did do it, Bill. Legosi single-handedly took care of my attacker..."

"Holy shit, dude... since when did you kick ass?" Legosi simply looked away.

"Bill, would you mind helping me take him to the infirmary?" asked Louis, referring to his assailant. "I'm afraid the damage may have been greater than expected..."

"Yeah, of course, I got it. Care to help Legosi?" Both of the larger carnivores worked to pick up the cheetah. They quickly took him to the nurse. Leaving just Juno and Louis.

"Are you sure you're alright, Louis?" asked Juno with genuine concern.

"I'm quite alright, thanks to your boyfriend." Juno smiled.

"You know, it's kinda funny actually. Not too long ago I was also attacked by a couple of bullies. Thankfully, Legosi was there too. He beat them near senseless. Apparently, I heard he even gave them amnesia."

Wait, what did she just say? Does she mean to say that those two students attacked recently... were attacked by Legosi?

"I think I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little scared by what he did to them, but at the same time, I guess it was actually kind of hot..."

Since when was Legosi ever this violent..?

"Anyways, I guess what I'm getting at is that Legosi is someone who would do whatever it takes to protect those he truly cares about. I think that's one of the reasons why I love him so much..."

Of course, there it is. The answer to Legosi's newfound aggression was literally staring him in the face this whole time. It's you, isn't it, Juno... Falling in love was all the push he needed to become the carnivore he was always meant to be...

"I think I understand now, Juno. You sure are a lucky one, huh?"

"I think so, yeah."

Louis simply nodded before leaving her, and with that, Juno quickly ran off to find Legosi.
