It was now lunch, and everyone was at the cafeteria. Mery and Luz were still in the pot, and were sitting at the end of a table that Willow and Gus were sitting at.

Gus: Hey. Do humans or Dragon Souls eat PB&J's?

Luz peaked out of the pot while Mery stayed in the pot.

Luz: Oh my gosh, I haven't eaten real food in so long-

Mery: ( to Luz, while staying in the pot: ) What are you talking about? I made Fairy pie for dessert last night.

Luz: Sorry, Mery, but I don't feel comfortable with eating something that has fairies as an ingredient. ( To Gus: ) Please give me some.

Mery rolled her eyes before she watched Luz sink back into the pot after Gus gave her a half of his PB&J.

Willow: I don't know, Gus. If Amity saw that-

Mery and Luz then suddenly heard a loud thud outside of the pot, and Mery quickly pulled Luz behind her as soon as she heard Amity's voice.

Amity: I saw that! Abominations don't eat! I know you're in there! You can't hide from me.

Amity then grabs Mery by her bowtie, pulls her out from the pot, and starts shaking her violently, making Mery make a silent annoyed growl in response.

Amity: What are you? Who are you? I want answers!

Abomination Teacher: Amity Blight.

Amity: Huh?

Amity stops shaking Mery, and they see the abomination teacher standing in the room looking at Amity.

Abomination Teacher: I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this, this is sad.

Amity: But, I- No! Look at it.

Mery didn't say anything, she made a scared whine, pulled away from Amity's grasps, and sink back into the pot.

Abomination Teacher: All I see is a poor traumatized abomination. Report to Principal Bump's office.

Amity: But-

Abomination Teacher: Now!

As soon as Mery and Luz heard Amity run off and as soon as the abomination teacher left the room, both Mery and Luz popped out of the pot, Luz and Willow both wore a expression of concern while Mery had a proud smile on her face.

Gus: ( quietly, to Mery: ) I thought you were scared.

Mery: ( quietly: ) I was acting. One of the many things my caretaker taught me when I was little.

Luz: ( to Mery: ) Why???

Mery: ( to Luz: ) You'd be surprised by how many guards I used to fool with the sad eyes when I was a kid.

( Slight time skip, at a classroom )

Mery was still in the pot while Luz is standing out of the pot. Mery was tuning everything out as she was staring blankly at the goo as the texture of the goo felt familiar to her, but she snapped out of it as soon she heard someone enter the room.

???: Good afternoon, students.

Willow: Principal Bump.

Mery silently growled protectively as she stayed in the pot while she was mentally struggling to contain her inner dragon from breaking out as orange magic sparks out from her ear piercing, she couldn't see what was going on she could only hear it.

Principal Bump: Hmm. Abomination, rise. Abomination, lie.

Luz: Uh, viral frame is a worthy pursuit. Your cat would never eat you if it got the chance. Chemtrails are real-

Principal Bump: Oh, no, abomination. How strange for it to get the command wrong. I mean lie down.

Mery continued to growl as she heard Luz whimper, more sparks coming out of her ear piercing as a image of a witch her age laying down lifeless flashed in front of her. She continued to struggle to contain her inner dragon as she continued to listen to what was going on outside of the pot.

Principal Bump: So very lifelike. When Miss Blight told me about your abominations, I had to come by, see what she's made of.

Willow: Oh, I have her list of ingredients right here.

Principal Bump: No. We were hoping for a closer look. Willow, I'll allow you the first cut.

Mery continued to silently growl protectively as she knew that Willow was hesitating to do what the principal said because of the moment of silence.

Principal Bump: Willow, go ahead and make the first incision-

Mery suddenly and quickly, without thinking or hesitation, drew a spell circle from within the pot, the spell bursted the pot and the other abomination pots into nothing but shards and the goo within the pots magically transformed into a thick fog, blinding Principal Bump and Amity.

Mery: ( to Luz and Willow: ) Run!

As Luz and Willow ran out of the room, Mery transformed into her dragon form and scooped Gus up before taking off out of the room just in time before the fog disappeared.

Gus held on to Mery's back as Mery flew through the school as red light forms patterns on the walls and floors. Mery then flew into the cafeteria and placed Gus carefully on the ground, before she continued to fly throughout the school. She then lands on the ground at the school's entrance, to only find it blocked off with a red shield, the pattern taking over the school.

Mery growled as her tail flicked in annoyance, and she turned her head to see a large amount of abominations walking towards her, which caused a image of cloaked figures wearing bird masks pointing staffs at her to flash in her mind, causing Mery to defensively open her wings as she glared at the abominations with fear and hate and tears in her eyes.

Mery: You may take my freedom, but you'll never take my life without a fight!

Mery then breathed out a stream of fire at the abominations in front of her, and began melting them to nothing but vapor.
