Luz watched in awe while Mery and Brownie watched in caution as the roots are still writing around Willow. Willow then finally seems to snap out of it, leaning forward worriedly and letting the roots fall.

Willow: Oh, no, no, no, no, no! ( To Luz, Mery, and Brownie: ) I'm so sorry!

Willow then makes the roots that were still wrapped around Luz's legs and Mery's throat retreat. Luz rubbed her leg.

Luz: It's okay.

Mery: ( calmly: ) The thorns only went through a few lawyers of flesh.

Brownie then barks at Willow as she gets very close to Luz, forcing the human to lean back a bit as Willow was looking at her ears.

Willow: So...circly.

Luz squeals in response and covers her ears, Mery protectively growled at Willow and flashed her fangs at the witch girl to back off, letting Willow catch a glimpse of her forked tongue.

Willow: A forked tongue? ( Gasps ) ( to Luz: ) You're a human, ( to Mery: ) and you're a Dragon Soul! This is astounding!

Luz: ( thoughts, with confusion: ) Dragon Soul?

Willow then helped Luz and Mery back on their feet and walked around them while Brownie watched Willow with slight confusion.

Willow: A human and a Dragon Soul on the Boiling Isles! How'd you get here? What are you doing here?

Mery was surprisingly more calm about the girl's questions, before they hear the peeling of a bell. Willow flinched and puts Mery's arm down with a sad expression.

Willow: ( to Luz and Mery: ) Uh, I'm sorry. I can't stay. I have to go disappoint my teacher. It was nice meeting you both, human, Dragon Soul.

Willow gave them a half goodbye wave before she grabbed her wagon and began walking away. Luz half waved back as Mery picked Brownie up, before the human rushes after Willow.

Luz: Wait! I'm Luz, and the girl behind me is Mery.

Mery: ( politely: ) Greetings.

Luz: And you're Willow, right? What you did with that flower and those plants, it was... wow.

Mery: Yeah, it was incredibly impressive.

Willow: Thanks, but... I'm not even supposed to be doing plant magic. My parents put me in the abomination track at school.

Luz squeals in response and grabs Willow, Mery just raised her brow at the human as Brownie stayed on the Dragon Soul's shoulder.

Luz: ( to Willow: ) Like, magic school?

Willow nods and Luz's smile grew.

Luz: That's so cool!

Luz lets go of Willow and Mery quietly watches them.

Luz: I'm so jealous. I have a teacher, but her lessons are a bit... untraditional.

Mery: ( with a stern expression and her arms cross: ) The current and respectful word you are looking for, Luz, is unique.

Luz: But, I bet she wouldn't let me or Mery enroll. But I wish I could spend one day there.

Willow: I wish I could get a passing grade for once. Then people would stop calling me " Half-a-witch Willow. "

Mery: ( honestly with a blank expression: ) And I wish I could see if there's others like me, but sadly that ain't going to happen because I'm pretty sure I'm the last one.

Willow kicked the spilled abomination goo, which it groans in response.

Luz: Hey, wait. I know how we can all get what we want.

Mery: ( blankly: ) I have literally been silent this whole time. Why are you bringing me into this?

Luz didn't respond to Mery's question and she picks up some of the abomination goo in both hands and splashed it on her hoodie.

Luz: ( to Willow: ) You can make us your abomination. We'll get you a good grade, and you can get us into magic school. It's fiendishly clever.

Willow & Mery: ( at the same time: ) What?

Luz: I saw that girl's thing. It's just chunks of stuff that talks weird. Me and Mery are chunks of stuff, and we talk weird! I can barely understand Mery sometimes!

Mery: ( with a stern look: ) Luz, that comment about how I talk is very displeasing to me.

Luz: ( gestures Mery to Willow ) See?

Mery raised her brow at Luz in response, as she doesn't get what Luz meant, but she then decided to play along for the human's sake as she also wanted to help Willow and she knew that there was no way of talking Luz out of it.

Willow: That's true. ( Giggles ) Okay. It's a deal. Luz.

Luz and Willow then shook hands.

Luz: This is a great plan.

Mery: ( to Luz and Willow, blankly: ) And you two just got your hands stuck together with abomination goo.

Luz and Willow try to pull their hands apart, to see that Mery was right.

Willow: Oops.

Luz: Uh, Mery? Do you think you could you your super strength to-

Mery then swiftly freed the two's hands, but the force sent Luz splashing into the abomination goo puddle on the ground.

Luz: Great plan.

Mery: Yeah, just one question. How are we going to sneak Brownie in?

Luz thinks for a moment before getting an idea.

Luz: Maybe he can hide in your hair? Brownie?

Brownie jumped into Mery's hair, hiding completely within it, and he then cutely poked his head out and gave the girl a cute bark in response.

Mery: Alright. Just let me change my outfit, I don't want people to recognize me after this, plus I don't want this one to get goo stains all over it.

Luz and Willow then watched in awe as Mery calmly made a small spell circle in the air, and the spell the Dragon Soul cast magically transformed the clothes she was wearing into a  suit and tux with a red bowtie, and the spell styled the Dragon Soul's side bang in a tucked in braid. Once the spell was finished, Mery scooped a handful of the abomination goo and splashed it on her face and a bit on her clothes, the goo on her face looked almost mask-shape.

Once she was done, Mery gave Willow and Luz a formal bow with a blank expression.

Mery: ( politely: ) Mi'lady.

Luz: Okay, Mery, that was cool, and we can call you the fancy one.

Willow nods her head in agreement.
