Narrative Pov.

After leaving the hidden laboratory and going back there home town in Wellspring (Random name), Bishop and Emma got the legal documents to adopt (Y/N). After making it official they head home and introduced him to their daughter, Jackie, and properly introduced themselves and welcomed (Y/N) to the family. Thought the years he never more comfortable with the Fang family and took up their last name. They also noticed that he seemed to have a higher physical ability than the average kid, when they asked he explained the mutations he under went which ended with a shocked Bishop, pissed Emma, and a crying Jackie who clung to you the rest of that night. But now (Y/N) is older and in his second year of highschool with his eighteenth birthday around the corner along with every teenagers nightmare... the start of school, which just happens to be today.

Third Pov.

(Y/N) is seen sleeping in a bed under the (F/C) covers, however another figure starts to stir and sits up.

This figure is revealed to be Jackie as she moves her yellow hair out of her face and smiles at the sleeping (Y/N), this sleeping 'arrangement' has become her normal routine for nearly a couple months. Wait for her brother to got to sleep, get in bed with him and sleep next to him, wake up right before his alarm goes off, go back to her bedroom, and get dressed without him knowing she was ever there. Moments after she leaves the alarm starts blaring causing (Y/N) to lift his hand up and slam it down of the device.

(Y/N) Pov.

"Great another start of hell on earth. At least the upperclassmen won't pick on me for being a freshmen." I thought to myself as I sit up in my bed, rubbing my eyes I look around my room at all of the video game and music posters on the (F/C) walls. I get up from my bed and move towards my dresser on the opposite side of the room and get dressed in my casual outfit of a pair of black combat boots, some white camo cargo pants, and a (SF/C) hoodie with a (F/C) shirt underneath. I grab my phone from the desk by my bed before practically jumping down the stairs to get breakfast.

When I walk into the kitchen I see Jackie cooking something at the stove, I move behind her and rest my chin on her shoulder while asking "Whatcha cookin' good lookin'?" She chuckles at my question before pushing me off her. "Well if you have to know I'm making some bacon and eggs." She says as she gets two plates ready for us. I sit down at the table and check my phone and see that Jane, my math tutor, is still on for lessons after school this year. I don't really need her help but she does it for free and we have fun together so after my dad hired her to help me with studies we just stuck together. I put my phone down as Jackie brings out the food and set my plate I front of me and we dig in.

"So you got any plans for school?" She asks smirking, she had graduated last year and gets to hang out all day and because of the money our parents give us, neither of us need a job. "I know your trying to tease the fact that you don't have to suffer like me but it not going to work." She giggles as we finish our food and put our dishes in the dishwasher. I check the time and notice that school starts in a couple minutes meaning I'm gonna have to haul ass to get there on time. "Bye Jackie I'll see you after school." I quickly shout while grabbing my bag and stuffing everything I need in there before running out the door. As I'm running someone matches my pace next to me, I look and see my friend Jace smirking.

"Well well. I never thought I'd see you late." He says in a fake surprised tone. "Haha, well your late too." I shoot back at him as we keep running. He shrugs as he responds. "Yeah but I really don't care, you on the other hand have to worry about your mom finding out." The thought of Emma finding out that I was late for school filled my mind and let's just say it encouraged me to run faster, leaving a laughing Jace behind me I continue to push forward towards school.

(Timeskip)

As I run up to the gates of Wellspring high I lean on my knees trying to catch my breath. "Beat ya." Confused I look up and see Jace walking out from the school courtyard. "Wait, how did you..." I look behind him and see three of my other friends. Nick Jones,

When I look at Alex I realise he is twirling his car keys around his finger, putting two and two together I just sigh as they start laughing. Instead of getting mad I join the laughter as well, after a bit it dies down and we walk into the school. We casually talk as we walk to the cafe but Nick stops at the notice board outside. "Hey guys come check this out." We all join him at the notice board and he points towards a specific poster, homecoming. "What are you trying to show us." I asked confused. He points closer to the poster and I notice what he's pointing at, the DJ is gonna be Redd Hall. After he points this out Nick speaks again "Dude she's smoking hot, not to mention she moved in over the summer so she doesn't have a boyfriend." "Damn, you think I got a chance?" Alex chimes in with his normal laid back demeanor. Next Jace says something about her "Fuck yeah she's hot." I groan at his response "Really Jace? I expect this behavior from them not you!" I say while pointing at the two still talking about Redd. He just shrugs while smiling and walks off into the cafe leaving me with the two idiots who have escalated into fighting about something. "Well that was something... interesting." Melissa says while watching the two start to throw hands. Deciding enough is enough I start taking my leave after telling Melissa it was nice to see her again.

I walk up to my first class which is science, and notice that I'm the only one here, even the teacher isn't here. I take advantage of this and pick a lab further in back next to the window so I have something to do when class gets boring. To pass the time I put in my earbuds and listen to some music on my phone but it's cut short by some one sitting next to me. Not wanting to be rude I take my earbuds and turn to greet them.

"H-hello..." She starts off quietly "My n-name is A-ava." She says while blushing and shuffling uncomfortably in her chair. "Well Ava, my name's (Y/N) and it nice to meet you." I say sticking my hand out for a handshake with a smile. She seems to calm down a bit and shakes my hand with a small smile. "How was your summer?" I ask her trying to start a conversation. "W-well it was pretty g-great other than my older s-sister teasing me about a b-boy I l-like." She says while looking down at her hands, twiddling her thumbs. I smile and let out a chuckle and respond "Yeah, I know how it feels. My sister bugs me all the time about stuff like that but you get used to it." Before we could continue the conversation the bell rang which brought our attention to the teacher, Mr.Stan, walking into the classroom. "Alright class, today we will just be introducing ourselves. I'll be putting you in groups of three." He then starts listing off names as I zone out until I hear my name. After a couple groups get called I hear my name "(Y/N) Fang, Ava Hill, and Daniel Clark." "Oh great." I mutter to myself getting Ava's attention. "W-what? Who's Daniel?" She asks confused with a hint of fear in her voice. "He's an asshole who's been bulling me and my friends sense grade school. He calls himself Butch." I saw quietly as he struts over and leans on the table shoving his face in Ava's.

"Well at least I got a hottie in my group." He says completely ignoring me and making Ava uncomfortable. Before I could lose my shit and knock his teeth out the teacher told us we would be working on a group project to learn how to work together.

(Timeskip of Butch hitting on Ava and only acknowledging (Y/N) to insult him)

We were trying to identify certain chemicals by there reactions to each other or something like that, I was to busy trying not to beat the shit out of Butch. After testing a chemical he walks over to our side of the bench to wash his beaker, but as he's going back to where he's working he whispers in my ear "You say anything and your head is gonna regret it." Confused I try to ask him what he means but as I turn I see he literally fucking gropes Ava's ass causing her to whimper before moving back to his seat. "What the fuck Butch!" I snap at him "What do you mean?" He asks smiling while trowing up his hands, pretending to be the victim. This pisses me of as I start raising my voice and catch the attention of the teacher "You just fucking grabbed her ass that's what!" "Is that true Mr.Clark" Mr.Stan asks rasing an eyebrow "Of course not, he's just lying." He says pointing at me. The teacher then turns to Ava. "Is it true that Mr.Clark touched you sexually?" Ava nods her head while blushing and trying to hide herself from the students who have started watching. After realizing that it was two against one, Butch starts spouting out nonsense like "They're both lying!" and "She came onto me!" before being dragged out by the teacher probably to his father's office. "The bell will be ringing soon, just stay here until it does." Mr.Stan says before leaving. Suddenly, Ava hugs me as she starts softly crying "T-thank y-you (Y/N). N-no one h-has ever stood u-up for me l-like that." She says quietly as I try to comfort her by stroking her back "

(Timeskip)

After the bell rung me and Ava decided to meet up again during lunch as our schedules didn't have any other classes together and we went on our way. Nothing noteworthy happened during the other two classes before lunch other than some girls saying something about a new rule where teachers can be in a relationship or something, I wasn't really paying attention to them. But now I'm walking to the courtyard with a plate of (F/F) in my hands, looking for my friends while meeting up with Ava.

"Hey (Y/N)!" I turn to the voice and see Melissa walking towards me with Nick, Jace, and Alex not to far behind her. I wait a moment and let them catch up to me, when they did we all continue walking to where Ava and I agreed to meet up. "So where we going." Nick asked while stuffing a burger in his face. "Well, I meet a new girl and she wanted to eat lunch with us." Jace smirk as he starts poking fun at me, "First day of school and you already got a girl? Now that was quick." I punch his arm in response before hearing a familiar voice. "(Y/N)! O-over here!" I look over and see Ava sitting next to another girl who I assume is her sister, sitting at a table off the side. We all walk over and as I set my food down I am suddenly grabbed and my face is shoved into something soft. "So your (Y/N), think of this as a reward for helping my sister.~" I look up and notice that my face is in-between the second girls breasts.

"The name is Jess handsome." She says smirking seductively still holding me close to her body. "J-j-jess! Let him go!" Ava says while prying Jess away from me. As I stand up straight I notice that Ava and Melissa were blushing and wide-eyed where as Nick, Alex, and Jace were giving me a thumbs up. After everyone calmed down and started eating Nick spoke up.

"So you guys ready?" He asks causing Ava and Jess to look at the group confused, noticing this a start to explain our traditional game. "Every year we play a game of Truth or Dare, everyday is a new players turn and they can either answer three truths or take a Dare which they have twenty-four hours to complete. There are no limits on the dares other than causing harm to themselves or others." They both nod seeming to understand the rules of the game. "So who's going first?" Nick asks again. "Me!" "Me." Both Jace and Jess volunteer, albeit Jace calmer than the shouting Jess. "Sorry Jess, Jace has been playing longer so he gets it." Jess slouches over the table pouting as Jace finishes eating. "Alright. Nick, you suggested the game so you get to choose my dare." He says looking at Nick. Nick thinks for a moment and looks around the courtyard probably trying to get an idea for a Dare, but as he is scanning the courtyard he suddenly stops and smirks. "Your dare is to get a kiss from Redd, and I'll play my double dog dare, you have to get that kiss before lunch ends." He says while pointing at a pretty crowded table where Redd sat.

"W-wait, what's a double dog dare?" Ava asks confused looking at Jace. "Every year you get one double dog dare where you can either add a variable such as 'with one hand tied behind your back' or limiting the time of the Dare. You also get one skip where you can skip the Dare but you have to answer two truths." He answers Ava's question before standing up. "Wait, your going to risk losing a Dare rather than use your skip. What if she doesn't want to give you a kiss?" Jess asks confused. He just smile and says "Oh, I know that I'm going to get that kiss." while walking over to the table. "Wow, he's got an ego." Jess says to me to which I respond by nodding. However we all are shocked as he quite literally swipes her off her feet and kisses her in his arms and she even kisses back!

He sets her down and moves back to our table leaving the group of people at Redd's table shocked. When he sits back down he notices our shocked expressions, "What, do I have something in my teeth." He says jokingly. "A hot girl just kissed you back! Explanation. Now." Nick says as he starts interrogating him, Jace smiles while putting up his hands in surrender. "What? my girlfriend likes kissing me, is there something wrong with that?" To be honest, the look on Nick's face was priceless, and I'm pretty sure everyone else thought so as well as they start laughing while Nick is trying to comprehend the thought of Jace having a girlfriend before him.
