"What?!"

The door was thrown open as a pile of bodies fell through. Ace only looked down at them and let out a loud laugh as their master's fist grew sizes and smacked them back down to the ground.

"What did I tell you about interrupting us?!" He scolded the group of five. Wendy being amongst them.

"Woah! Hey! How'd your fist get all big?" Ace chipped excitedly. "Did you eat a Devil Fruit too?"

"A what?" The six questioned confusedly.

"A Devil Fruit." He repeated. "Do you not know what that is?" He tilted his head. "I mean... you clearly have powers, gramps. So how's you get them?"

"What do you mean?" The blond chick of the group spoke up. "That's his magic."

"His what?!" Ace's mouth practically hit the ground before crossing his arms and pouting. "So you're saying you didn't need to eat a Devil fruit to get your powers?"

"Wait what?" The pink-haired male said. "We don't deal with no Devil. We're not Satanist, y'know?"

Ace laughed, "eating a Devil fruit doesn't associate you with the devil in any way."

They group stayed silent for a minute before Ace began panicking, his hands on his head as he circled around the room, "Oh my god is it? I don't think it is. Am I a satanist? Did I accidentally sell my soul to the Devil?"

"Huh?" The pink-haired dude laughed loudly. "You're funny, man! I like you!"

"I'm assuming you all heard everything?" The master asked them, to which the five nodded. He sighed but didn't scold them. "You might as well introduce yourselves to him then."

The first to introduce himself was the lively idiot, "I'm Natsu Dragneel! Nice to meet ya!"

"Lucy Heartfilia."

"Erza Scarlet."

"Gray Fullbuster."

"And you already know me." Wendy said with a sad smile. "Hey, about Grandeeney... did you ever see her?"

Ace raised a brow before shaking his head, "No. I only heard her voice. I don't recall ever meeting someone with her name. Sorry."

"I see."

"Were you really going to get executed?" asked the redhead known as Erza.

Ace nodded, "Yeah."

"Sorry to hear that, man." Gray said. "You must be really strong then to have a huge bounty on your head."

"Not quite." Ace shook his head. "If anything, I'm starting to think it was because of who my father was."

Noticing his expression, Lucy quickly butted in. "Hey, so you said a Devil fruit can give you powers. Did you happen to eat one?"

"Yeah." Ace's fist turned into flames. "I ate the Mera Mera Fruit. Also known as the Flame-Flame fruit. In my world, if you have powers it's either because your body has had modifications, like being a cyborg. Or because you ate a Devil Fruit."

"Cool! Fire!" Natsu's eyes sparkled as he licked his lips before sucking up Ace's flames causing him to widen his eyes, "Hey, what the heck?!" Ace shouted. "You just ate my flames! Not cool!"

Natsu laughed, "Oops! Sorry!"

"Wait! you ate my flame!" Ace's eyes basically bulged out. "How did you do that?!"

"I'm a dragon slayer!" Natsu said with a grin. "A fire one specifically. I get all my energy back when I eat my element."

"Right," Ace nodded. "Uh huh."

"He doesn't get it." Wendy said. "He did the same with me just to avoid asking questions."

Erza chuckled and nodded in understanding, "It will be my pleasure to explain everything of our world to you, Ace."

As so she did, messing up a little now and then but they got through with the help of Lucy and Wendy.

"So, you're known as Titania the Queen of The Fairies?" He pointed a finger at Erza who nodded. "You're Salamander." Natsu nodded. "Little Wendy is the Sky Maiden and Gray is an Ice Make user, and you are–" He motioned towards Lucy, waiting for a response.

"Lucy." She said. "A Celestial Spirit Wizard."

"Sounds cool." Ace nodded. "Well, in my world I was known as Fire Fist Ace so... you're not the only ones with cool names."

"Cool!" Natsu laughed before smirking. "Guess Fairy Tail will have Fire Fist Ace join then?"

"Really?" Ace grinned. "I'm not a wizard, so even after you know the truth you won't mind me joining?"

Master Makarov chuckled before patting the man's leg. "Ace, starting from now on, you are one of my children."

Ace's eyes widened and shined before he got on his knees to bow. "Thank you, genuinely."

There was no doubt that this man reminded him somewhat of pops.

"Since you're a Fairy Tail member now, you need to show off an emblem like us." said Natsu, flexing his arm as he showed off his red emblem, his team smirking as they too showed it off.

"Alright." Ace smirked. "I'd like that."

"Where would you like it?" Makarov questioned. "You might as well choose a color you like because I'd hate to redo it."

Ace hummed in thought before smiling softly. "Can you try making it look like it has flames? I'll have it right here."

Natsu and his team watched proudly as a light ignited before them, the familiar emblem now on Ace's chest.

"Portgas D. Ace," Makarov stood proudly before him. "Welcome to Fairy Tail. Your new home."
