The Group Splits Up?!

After Faith had reunited with Reshiram, they headed off to the region that was closest to them: Kalos. They then waited for Scarab and Adelaide to meet up with them. Faith had already told Scarab about the emergency landing that they had to make, so they were just waiting for them to arrive in Kalos.

When they did, Faith smiled and greeted them warmly. "Alola!" Scarab said as he walked up to the group. Faith smiled again. "Alola," she responded. She could speak the same language that her friends spoke, but it was nice to, once in a while, speak her the language that she had grown up speaking in.

They headed into the region of Kalos and set up camp.

The next day, they were planning on leaving Kalos, but Faith had run into one of her old friends, Petra. She asked the group if they could bring her with, but they said no, so Faith slowly and reluctantly asked Petra to go back to Alola. Petra nodded understandingly, knowing that Faith had really wanted her to come along but that they were on an important mission and couldn't take too many people.

They then left for the Hoenn region.

When they got there... Let's just say that there was a battle going on. Between a controlled Kyogre and a controlled Groudon. Faith was panicking after she saw the two Legendaries battling, and partially because Bea didn't know how to swim and an explosion had knocked the group into the ocean.

"Bea!!" Faith grabbed her sister's hand and pulled her to the boat. She climbed onto the boat holding Bea, who was coughing and gasping for air. "We need a new plan," Faith said, trying to think of what to do.

"We need to take down Groudon and Kyogre before we do anything else," Scarab said.

"OBVIOUSLY!!!"

Scarab, Hau and Nebly went to fight Kyogre while Faith, Bea, Kevin and Hop went to fight Groudon.

But something, of course, had to happen.

Bea and Faith were running towards Groudon when a wave of water suddenly hit them. It pushed them back. Faith coughed up water and threw out Reshiram's Poke Ball. She then climbed onto Reshiram. Bea was unconscious.

Faith noticed this and started to panic, so she ran towards an untouched Pokemon Center to get help for Bea. While she was doing this, two leaders of TRR, the ones who were controlling Kyogre and Groudon, called the Legendaries out of the battle and made their escape. By the time Faith was back, they were gone.

"Where did they go?!"

"They escaped," Hop explained.

"Great," Faith growled, clearly stressed out.

"Let's regroup." They headed towards the Pokemon Center.

Inside...

The group was trying to figure out what to do next about the situation for a while before Scarab said, "We need to just... do what we should have done a long time ago- Tell Looker that we can't handle TRR and that we quit."

"What?!" Faith was shocked. "No way are we doing that!"

"We can't handle this! Leave it to the people who can."

"Like who?"

"Like the Champions."

"We have two Champions here," Faith pointed out, referring to herself and to Hau, who was Alola's Champion, while Faith was Kanto's Champion.

"But you're both weak!" Scarab snapped back. Faith looked hurt by this remark. "We just need training," she said softly.

"Nope. I give up. I quit. Don't try to stop me and tell Looker that I'm out." He slammed the door as he walked out, making Faith jump about ten feet into the air. It would have been funny if Faith hadn't been so depressed at the moment.

"Will you guys stay with me?" She asked sadly.

Bea looked at her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Yes. We will."
