Alola!
The others headed for Hammerlocke Hospital. As they left, they noticed a cannon aiming towards a Flying Taxi. It shot a white beam out and hit the Flying Taxi, which froze it nd made it fall to the ground. Everyone knew that only one Pokémon could fix this type of freezing, and that was Reshiram. Faith had a Reshiram, although no one knew she did and even she had forgotten that she had it.
"Shoot... we really screwed up now."
They hurried to Hammerlocke.
Bea was laying in bed, shaking violently. The doctor had told Faith that Bea had caught a severe case of pneumonia, and that she wouldn't be able to move around for a week at the least. Faith didn't know what to do. She knew Allister could take care of Bea, but... someone had to run the Gym. Faith would've done it, but she was on a mission that she couldn't abandon.
Bea reached out to touch her shoulder. "Y-You okay? You l-look a little w-worried... listen, w-we can get th-through this. I-I'm not going t-to die. T-Trust me."
"I know, Bea," Faith sighed. "I just hate seeing you feel this way." The door opened. Faith brightened up. "Hey, guys."
"Hey," Scarab said.
Faith looked at her friends. "Sorry about rushing off like that. I needed to make sure my sister was okay."
"Is she?"
"Not really..." Faith pulled them aside to tell them about Bea's diagnosis because she knew it was a hard thing for Bea to talk about.
"Wow... sounds really bad."
Faith nodded. "I know." Bea suddenly started coughing violently. Faith rushed to her side. "Take it easy..."
" 'M okay, don't worry..." Bea mumbled weakly.
"Do you need anything?"
"N-No..." Bea barely whispered as she passed out.
Faith stood up. "Goodnight then, sis. See you in the morning." She leaned over and softly kissed Bea's cheek, then walked out of the room.
"Well... I guess we should go too?" Scarab suggested. The others nodded.
Later, after hearing a very dark backstory from Kevin and Nebly (sorry... I want to be able to write this in around 600-700 words) they decided to go t sleep. Well, everyone except Faith. She looked up at the starry sky, tears falling.
Where are you?
She felt lonely and broken inside. A surprising memory popped into her head. She winced as it played like a movie inside of her head.
Three-year-old Faith stood next to the colorful mural in Stow-On-Side. Her sister grabbed her hand and bounded down the steps to the mural, admiring the Gym.
"Come on, girls. Time to go."
The voice was coming from their biological mother. Faith turned around to see her mom holding a dark-haired baby. Faith giggled as baby Allister gurgled and wrapped his hand around her finger. "Little brother!"
Faith's mom smiled with tears in her eyes. She handed Allister to another woman. "Hey Bea? Come here."
Bea ran over to her mother, who handed her to the woman who was holding Allister. "I'll take good care of them."
"Faith?" Bea whimpered softly as their mom picked Faith up and carried her away.
"Bea!" Faith cried as she was carried off.
Tears ran down Faith's face as she curled up and fell asleep.
The next morning, Faith split apart from the group as they left for Alola. She went to visit Bea for a little while, then she got up. "Bea? I'm going to Alola. But I'll be back soon. I love you."
"I-I love you t-too..." Bea said, smiling weakly.
Faith jumped into the air and unfurled her wings.
Hours later...
Faith smiled as she flew towards Melemele Island, which was now visible in the distance. She coasted and tucked her wings in a bit, diving towards the island and then pulling back up right before she hit the ground.
"Alola, everyone!" She called out.
