Not According to Plan

Anti couldn't believe it.

Sean actually did it.

When he opened his eyes there was nothing. Just empty space. Pitch black darkness. Absolute silence.

He had been here before but back then he was able to glitch out if he wanted.

Sean had Marvin take that away, for how long, he didn't know.

He could feel himself slipping already. He hated it!

'Breathe, Anti' he told himself, 'Just breathe. They can't keep you here forever. . . . . .can they?'

The thought terrified him.

What if they had just had enough of him and didn't care anymore? What if they really would just make him stay here forever!?

His breathing started to pick up and he started to panic. Normally when he panicked, he'd glitch but he couldn't even do that and that made him even MORE scared.

"Don't leave me here" Anti spoke out into the void, shaking, "Please. . . "

Jackie stared at Sean in surprise, "Sean. . . .  was that really necessary? You saw how upset he got"

"Yeah well at the moment, I don't really care" he crossed his arms, "The bastard needs to learn his lesson. Keeping him in there for a while might do that."

"How long?" Marvin asked.

He shrugged, "I don't know, maybe a couple days? Don't worry about him. I'm sure it'll probably take longer and even then he might just laugh at it"

Jameson wasn't so sure, himself and neither were the others, actually. They had never seen fear like that in Anti's eyes before.

It was worrying.

"I'm not so sure anymore" Jackie sighed, "He tried bargaining with you, Sean. He called you Jack. He's never called you that before. Maybe he wasn't lying? Dark can be pretty manipulative, after all"

"Maybe. But even so he can't get off so easy after yesterday's little stunt, too. Yeah, I heard about it" The others cringed in guilt for keeping it from him, "I don't care if you've already reprimanded him for it. He needs to know he won't keep getting away with any of that shite."

Marvin took a breathe, "Alright. . . .I suppose I agree with you there"

Jameson still didn't look too sure but he wasn't going to speak out about it. He didn't know the full story, after all, so he couldn't judge anyone on their actions of the matter.

Jackie was still unsure but nodded, "Okay. But two days? Do you really think we should leave him in there for THAT long? What about food and water?"

Marvin interjected, "It's the void. It's a completely different dimension-scape unmoved by trivial matters such as hunger or thirst. In the void, the human body doesn't feel or need sustenance. Plus him having been there before is a plus for him since he somewhat knows what to expect"

With that, Jackie finally gave in, "Fine. Fine. Two days then."

"Good. . . now with that out of the way, have you guys heard anything from Chase or Henrik?"

"I just saw Henrik this morning, actually" Jackie brought up, following Sean out of Anti's room, "He seemed well. Doing good"

"You went to his practice?"

"Yeah, I needed to see a doc anyways about my shoulder. It's all good. Just need rest as usual" he laughed it off.

They shut Anti's door and went to the living room together to chat. Sean took the trip down so he might as well stay for a bit, "You need to watch your health, man"

"Yeah well maybe with Anti gone, there'll be less chaos for you to fix, huh?" Marvin joked but it didn't make anyone laugh, leaving an awkward stillness in the air.

"What about Chase?" Sean practically mumbled.

Jameson shook his head.

"I see. Still avoided us, huh?" he groaned a little, "I hope he picks himself back up soon. I miss the goof"

Jackie bit his lip, "You know what he did, though, Sean"

"I know but. . . . he's still a part of me. You all are. You're closer than brothers and it just . . . . hurts to be apart like this, you know?"

"Do you feel the same about Anti?" Jackie asked.

"What?"

"You heard me"

"Of course I do. He's just. . . more difficult I guess. He IS the pure opposite of me, after all. You mention of what Chase has done. . . do you not remember what Anti's done?" Sean countered.

"Of course I do! But he's gotten better, I think. Don't you guys think so?"

Marvin shrugged, "Still a chaos-filled asshole and a brat but I suppose. Better than killing people"

Jameson signed, 'Or possessing them'

Sean nodded, "Yeah, you're right. Anyways. . . "

Dark straightened his suit a bit as he teleported him and Wilford back to Raspy Hill mansion. Wilford was bouncing around excitedly, "That was so much fun! Why don't we do things like that more often, lad!?"

"Because, Wilford, your idea of fun doesn't often come in handy like it did today." he answered smoothly, "Although I will admit it was rather pleasing to know Anti will surely get what's coming to him AND he did the job"

Wilford chuckled dramatically, "Old Jackaboy did look rather frazzled!" he suddenly turned oddly serious, "What do you think they'll do to him?"

Dark shrugged, "Who cares? Probably not enough to really do anything to hurt him. The softies will probably just put him in time-out in his room or something! But it's still satisfying to know it'll at least annoy him"

"Whatcha got against the glitch anyways? Didn't you two sort out your problems a while ago?"

He growled lowly, "Shut up, Wil. You don't know anything. That little bastard never has and never will be my friend. Hell, we were barely rivals!"

"Whatever ya say, Darky"

Dark let the comment slide as they walked through the hall to Google's room. Knocking on the door, Dark smirked at the thought of Mark's live going to hell without his precious computer. It was all too perfect!

Google answered the door, "Greetings, Dark. Wilford. How may I be of assistance?"

"The plan we discussed earlier, Google. It has been completed." he crossed his arms with a grin, "I would like to see the fruits of our labor if you would?"

The android ego sighed and rolled his eyes, "I presume you want to see Mark cry from the camera I secretly placed in his bedroom?"

Both Dark and Wil looked rather confused, "H-his bedroom?"

"Ooooooo~" Wil commented before getting elbowed by Dark.

"Why do you have a camera in his bedroo- you know what, never mind. Is that where he is right now?"

"My sensors can confirm this as no. He is actually in his office where I have another camera installed by his window outside. Although I do not think he is crying at the moment"

"Just bring him on the screen, Google" Dark was exasperated with him already.

Google projected a holographic screen from his chest revealing Mark at his computer but Google was right. He didn't appear to be crying or even really all that upset. In fact, he looked relieved!

"What the hell?" Dark growled, "Why does he look so damn calm!? He should be sobbing his pathetic heart out right now!"

Google hummed and dissipated the screen, "It appears as though Anti did not destroy all of the back-ups as you wanted. Mark still has all of his files and programs available to him"

"Son of a-!" Dark seethed but calmed himself when his shell started to break, projecting a red light from him.

He coughed lightly and held his hands behind him, "Very well. Please excuse me. I'll be in my room if you need me for anything. Wil. Google." Dark then briskly walked away from them to his office.

'That damn worthless excuse of a virus!' he thought, 'He had one job to do and he managed to fuck that up! Why didn't he complete it!?'

He growled as he entered his room, slamming the door behind him, "Don't tell me he gained a damn heart in the middle of it?" he snatched his cane with such force, it was a miracle it didn't splinter and break in his grasp.

"Serves him right, whatever punishment he receives then. Not my problem. Better not come to me for help, that's for sure"

Dark stared outside at the partly-cloudy weather. He actually almost missed the rain in Brighton. That sort of weather appealed to him more than the weather in California.

'Stupid glitch. Nothing they can do to you would be enough'

Anti was curled in a ball, head in his hands. He couldn't tell if his eyes were closed or not.

He couldn't tell that he was in a large open void. He felt claustrophobic. He could no longer tell how long it had been since they put him in there. It felt like days already.

"Please. . . " he was breaking down, "Please, I'll be good. . . .I promise I'll be good. Please"

But no one heard him.

And no one came.

Did anyone really care?

'Of course not' a faint whisper sounded in his mind.

'They hate you, don't you know? You're worthless to them'

Anti bit his lip and kept his fingers curled in his hair, 'Shut up'

'But you know it's true. You've done so many terrible things. Did you really think they'd just forgive you so easily? They were just waiting on an excuse to do this. And now. . . you're stuck here. Forever'

'No please' Anti whimpered out loud, 'They can't. They won't. Jackie will-'

'You really think he cares about you? He's probably relieved your finally gone. He has less crime and trouble to deal with now. You've always been nothing but a hassle. A burden'

He knew it was all in his head. Anti knew that it was just him going crazy but he also knew that the voice in his head was right.

He deserved this.
