It's Always Anti
Anti sat himself up on the roof of the city's clock tower, dangling his feet over the edge like a kid.
"Fucking pricks" he grumbled, "Thinking they can control me like I'm some sort of wild animal. Fuck them. Didn't even mean to do it that time. Pft"
Of course there were times Anti DID mean to cause chaos. He wasn't innocent in the slightest. He had tormented the other egos, possessed most of them and hurt a lot of people physically and emotionally. He remembered robbing a convenience store one time, stealing the money AND a bunch of food, threatening the clerk at knife-point. Jackie, of course, knew it was him and forced his way into his room to re-take all the stolen goods.
Jackie always ruined his fun.
So he had started trying to have fun with Jackie. His new game was similar to tag or at least to see how far Anti could get running from him. Yesterday was a slip-up.
He had robbed many places, caused power outages and kidnapped various innocent people. . . .but Jackie was always there to save the day and stop him.
Sometimes Anti felt remorse but that was a fleeting thought at best. He just wanted to have some fun but no one wanted to be around him. So causing trouble was the next best thing. He had been doing it for so long, Anti couldn't see any other way to smile than seeing someone else scowl at him.
Anti looked down at the street below him, watching people walk up and down and back and forth. He didn't understand it. He didn't understand people. Why waste such precious time in life? Why keep going when you don't have anything to live for?
He knew the feeling. He knew he was different than all of the other successful egos. Even Chase was better than him.
He growled at the thought and anger started to consume him. His eyes turned pitch and he started to glitch out a little, making the clock move slightly quicker.
"Better watch your temper" a familiar voice sounded behind him, "They'll come to tranquilize you"
Anti tensed at the sound. He knew that voice and he just barely shivered as he calmed down. He wouldn't let him see him in a weak moment. Never again.
Anti stood up and turned to see his enemy in a black suit and red tie. A small smile on his face.
"The fuck do you want, D̶a̴r̶k̵?"

Jackie had dressed up casually for the day before he had left for the doctor's office. He didn't want people to see the city hero having to come to the doctor, after all.
When he pulled up to the small building, he got out of the car and came up to the door. The glass door had the names written on it of which doctors were there and he smiled a little when he saw the other ego's name.
Jackie walked in and gave the secretary his information before sitting down and waiting. Once he was called by a nurse, it was standard procedure from there that he spoke about his shoulder bothering him and she wrote down the information.
"Alright, Doctor Schneeplestein will be in to see your shortly, Jackie"
"Thanks, mam"
He waited a while.
And he waited some more.
Finally after about ten minutes, he started to get worried. Perhaps he shouldn't have come?
He then started to hear voices on the other side of the door. It sounded like a male arguing with the nurse, "Sandra, you don't understand. I can't see him. He'll have to see Dr. Edwards or someone else" there was that familiar German accent.
"But they're not here today. Please, sir, just ignore it? He's in for a serious check-up."
"Sure he is" the man scoffed, "It's just a strained muscle. He can relax at home and take pain killer. Zhere. Done"
"Dr. Henrik, please-"
Jackie heard enough. He stood up from the paper-covered bed and exited the room. There in front of him was the nurse and . . .
"Henrik" Jackie addressed him, "You uh . . .you guys know I can hear everything through that door, right?" he chuckled a little to try and ease the tension.
It didn't work.
Henrik closed his eyes and sighed roughly, "Damn. Jackie I. . . "
"So chill and pills. . .right, doc?"
The German doctor groaned, wiping his hand over his face before waving his other hand towards the room again, "Get back in there. Let's check and make sure, yeah?"
Jackie smiled but went back in and waited a couple of minutes again before the doctor followed suit, closing the door again behind him.
"I'm sorry about zhat. Didn't realize" he mumbled.
"It's alright, doc" Jackie bit his lip, "So how've you been?"
"Turn around and take your shirt off so I can inspect you"
Jackie sighed but did as he was told.
"Lay down on your stomach, please"
Again, Jackie did as told, "You gonna answer my question?"
"No. Does it hurt here?" he put pressure on Jackie's shoulder blade and he stiffened.
"A little, yeah. Why not?"
"Hm. This is doctor-patient relationship only. How about here?" he pressed in the middle of his back.
"No, feels fine." Jackie was disappointed but let the good doctor rub his shoulder a bit more.
"You have a big knot here. Like I thought. You haven't been resting like I've told you before"
"Yeah, well, it's hard to when Anti's constantly causing trouble"
"Yes, I heard about the chaos yesterday. Have you told Sean?"
"What happened suddenly to doctor-patient relationship?"
"Hush. Forget it. You can put your shirt back on now and sit back up." Jackie did as he was told and Henrik continued, "Take a day. Forget about Anti for once and take care of you. I'll prescribe you some muscle relaxers and keep heat on it here and zhere. Yes?"
The hero nodded, "Alright. Thanks Doc. . . .. you know you got a pretty nice little practice going on here again. Looks like it's doing well"
"Hm"
"You could always come back, Henrik. We miss you."
"You miss someone to keep Anti in line"
"That, too" they both shared a small smile.
"No Zhank you, my friend. I'll see you around. You're free to go. Medicine will be up front"
"Alright, alright. I'll get out of your-" suddenly his notification alarm was going off.
Henrik glared at him, "Let it go"
Jackie bit the inside of his cheek but looked at the problem anyways, "Oh fuck"
Henrik swallowed but was too curious, "Vhat is it?"
"What do you think it is? It's Anti again. I got to go. I'll get a rain-check on that prescription! See ya later, doc!" he ran out of the office as fast as he could to the alarm's destination.

Meanwhile back with Anti.
Dark smiled at him, "Well that's not a nice way to greet an old friend, now, is it?"
"Yer not my fucking friend. Now answer the fucking question, emo-bitch"
Dark huffed lightly but chuckled nonetheless, "I have a . . . .proposition for you."
"Ya want me to do something that you don't want to do that would get yer hands dirty?"
"Such a smart lad" he teased, "It's nothing big"
"Like yer dick?" Anti decided to mess with the asshole.
Dark glared at him, a slight snarl on his face, "Such insolence. If you help me with this, you'll be rewarded."
Anti narrowed his eyes but allowed Dark to continue, "What? No quip with that? Surprising. So I have your attention?"
"̶O̵u̴t̴ ̵ w̸i̷t̴h̴ ̵i̶t̶"̸
The man fixed his tie a bit and shuffled his hands behind his back, "I want you to infiltrate a computer. Hack into it and destroy it completely. Back-ups and all"
Anti was surprised by this sudden weird request, "Excuse me? Can't you just do that yourself? What about Google or Bing? They still stuck with updates or something?" he taunted.
"They can't get to this specific computer. Only you can, which is why I'm asking. So? Will you do it?"
Anti licked the front of his teeth and crossed his arms, "What do I get for it?"
Dark smiled and cracked his neck, "If you complete the task . . . . I'll give you anything you ask. Name it. But if you fail. . . . Don't expect me to save your ass"
The glitch scoffed at him, "When you want this done?"
"As soon as you can, actually. I've already caused a distraction for you so your little hero won't suspect anything. Wilford's in charge of creating the diversion"
"Wait, right now!?" Anti yelled at him, "But who's computer is it!? I'm not ready, yet, y̶a̴ ̴ f̷u̵c̵k̸!"
"You'll be fine. I had Google connect this phone here" he showed Anti the device, "To the printer that the computer is next to. You won't have a problem getting to it that way, will you?"
"Fuck" Anti gulped but soon heard a sudden explosion nearby, flinching at the sound.
"You better hurry before your hero comes to stop you. I can't guarantee Wilford won't keep his mouth shut. Or his guns in check" he smiled manipulatively.
Being rushed into his thoughts, Anti quickly decided to just go through with it and glitched through the phone.
Dark hummed as he twirled the device around in his fingers, "Hm. Didn't think he'd actually do it. This ought to be fun"
He heard another unplanned explosion and sighed, "I better fetch Wilford before he causes even more trouble"

When Anti glitched through, he came back out from the printer that Dark had mentioned.
He didn't recognize the room, really but immediately, he regretted agreeing to Dark's wishes.
He was rushed, though, so he couldn't really think of what else to do. And Jackie wouldn't believe him anyways that he didn't cause the explosions so what was the harm?
The room he was in was long and behind the computer was a window overlooking some trees. It looks pretty peaceful, really. With a snap, he turned on the computer, clapped his hands and zapped himself inside of it, causing damage as he did so.
He clambered through codes and programs until he suddenly stopped and zapped his way out of the device, breathing heavily.
"Oh FUCK! That son of a bitch!" Anti finally realized who's computer it was, freaking out over it now that the screen was spazzing out just as much as him.
"Hey, who's in there?" A female voice was behind the door coming closer.
"Oh no" without another thought, Anti spotted the TV in the room and escaped through there before the woman could see him. He came out from his own TV back home and held himself in fear.
'It's okay.' he tried to calm himself down, 'Hopefully they don't automatically assume it was me'
But he was doubtful. Everyone was always quick to assume him.
Meanwhile, Amy walked in the room, and upon seeing the computer glitching out wildly, she called for Mark, worried the computer would explode or something.
Hearing his name, he stopped setting up a recording from the kitchen and ran to Amy's voice. When he came in, he ran to turn the computer off and sighed, slightly growling to himself, "Fucking goddammit!"
"I thought I heard someone in here but I guess I was wrong?" Amy asked him.
"No, you probably weren't wrong, Amy. Judging by the noise it was making and all the glitching. . . .there's only one person who'd be able to do this and their not an Iplier ego"
Amy hummed, "Should we maybe call Sean?"
Mark nodded, "Yeah. Yeah, I think so. I'll look for his number"
