Emily was in the cafe,having lunch with her friends Rachel and Sabrina.She was silent and was listening to them talkibg about all the latest gossips.

One of them being that Emily had ruined Jeremy's locker which was behind repair.

Emily chewed her food so hard that she almost but her tongue in the process.She was totally pissed at Jeremy for spreading such rumours about her.

What did she look like to him? Hulk in  jeans and shirts?She wasn't that strong to damage the lockers and wasn't so stupid to damage the school property.She knew she had to pay a heafty fine for it.

She was wondering when she was going to be called by the principal who would ask her to pay for something she never did..And probably ruin all evenings this year by giving her detentions.

Emily was eating with all these thoughts swirling in her mind when someone entering the cafe caught her eye.

She almost chocked on her food and grabbed the glass of water,finishing it in a single gulp.The guy she didn't want to look at was coming inside the cafe with his horrible side-kick.

And he was walking towards her.

"Hello Emily!!"

Emily blinked.

Everyone in the cafe was staring at him and back at her,amused.

Jeremy grinned whole Matt tried his best to pull him away and knock some sense into him.

"Hey Emy sweetheart!"

Matt wished he were dead.He slipped away and stood in the corner of the cafe.He didn't want to die along with Jeremy.

Jeremy had a vibrant smile and he walked towards her table and sat down next to her

Emily flinched and was too stunned to even move away.Rachel and Sabrina were as shocked and stunned as the other students.

Jeremy looked at Emily with bright blue eyes"Hey honey..Looking gorgeous today"he said like they were old lovers.Emily leaned away,too shocked to utter a word

She had dated many guys and no one has ever behaved like that around her.They did say stuff like "I love you" and "You mean a lot to me" and stuff like that.And they always called her Emily.They didn't dare to call her by any other name.And she didn't want them to.

But now?This newbie was calling her..

Sweetheart?

Emy?

Honey?

He was talking with her like they were some old love couple or something.

"What..What are you doing?"she muttered so that only he could hear her.

"What?I just complimented you baby"he said and slid more closet,his blue eyes looking intently into her brown ones.

"Stop...With those names please."she said glaring at him.

The cafe was soon filled with whispers.

Jeremy smiled looking around

"Why are you doing all this??"she hissed

He got up from beside her and grinned"You love me"

Emily felt like some had given her a tight slap

"Excuse me what?!"

"Yes honey.And I love you too..Don't worry"he grinned and grabbed a sandwich before winking at her and walking away.

Rachel and Sabrina stared at Emily.

"I..I have no idea what just..Emily started

"You love him?"Sabrina asked.Rachel nodded.

"No!!!No!I..Why would I?!I hate him!"Emily said staring at her friends.

They still have her dubious looks.

So did the rest of them in the cafe

"He just came and spoke with you like a boy friend..Are you hiding something Emily?"Rachel asked.

Emily was super Mad.

She banged her fist on the table loud enough that everyone stopped their whispers and turned their attention to her

"Listen.I don't know what just happened and that newbie is crazy enough to mess with me.Twice.And for your kind information I wouldn't stoop down to such a problem with lever to like someone like him.I hate him.And you all do know that.So stop with all these whispers and mutterings and get your minds off this matter ok?"she said in a loud clear and stern voice

The cafe was silent for a few minutes and the bell rang.Everyone started walking out of the cafe silently.

Emily stayed till everyone was out and looked at Rachel and Sabrina.

"Come on.We're sorry.."

Emily sighed"Fine..Let's go"

She crushed the paper cup in her hand and threw it away before taking her bag and walking away.

She didn't know this was just the start.

"YOU ARE MAD!!!"

Jeremy closed his ears as he started at his mad friend screaming loudly when they were on their way to the history class

"Oh shut up Matt!Why are you so loud?!"

"Then why are you so reckless Jeremy?!"Matt screamed back

"Dude..I love her..And I told her that.."Jeremy said frankly

"Does she love you back?!"

"Well..She doesn't but she soon will..It worked for my father.."Jeremy said.

From the time he left the cafe,Matt had been screaming as to how Jeremy was being an idiot and how he was making mistakes one next to the other and how he would end up dead soon.

"To hell with you!!"Matt said and started walking away fast.He sat down in the first row of the class and glared at Jeremy when he came to sit next to him

Emily gritted her teeth as she was trying not to punch the face of every single person around her.

She was taking books from her locker and she could feel the others staring at her and whispering something behind her back.

Some were loud and she could hear it clearly

"...Acting like she hates him..."

Of course not!She hated him so much she wouldn't hesitate to kill him and go to prison

"...Loves him back.."

Ugh.She wanted to scream that she didn't love him but apparently no one was going to listen to her.

She shut the door of her locker hard and started walking.Many were still pointing at her and saying something.She glared at them and they went away.

She sighed.What had she done to deserve this?Why was that newbie making her life hell?

She was feeling agitated and irritsted but she knew this would soon be over.Rumours were easily forgotten.

And this would also be the same.

"So everything is happening according to your plan I guess"

Alex shook his head,leaning on his bike as he watched the students dispersing.

"No Jack.It isn't. "

"But..He is acting like he's crazy about her isn't he?"Jack asked confused

"But he isn't acting...I fear it's true..If it's true...Then nothing will happen according to our plan"Alex said

Jack nodded thinking

"We need to do something then.."Jack said.

It was at that time Emily walked out of the school,in a fast pace,clutching her bag closer to her as she walked.

Alex was distracted for a second.

Her curly brown hair was a little messy and the few loose strands were hanging by the sides of her face as she walked.Even though her face looked tired and sweaty...She was Emily..She could easy look beautiful even when she looks sweaty and dirty.

But she had rejected him..Said no to him..

Alex looked away,clenching his fists harder.

"Alex..Look.."

Alex turned and saw Jeremy walking out too, grinning.He paced faster and managed to catch up with Emily

"Bye honey!Don't forget to call me as usual once you get home!Miss you sweety!"he said in a loud voice enough to attract everyone's attention.

Emily groaned and got inside her car,rushing away.

Jeremy had a contented smile on his face and looked at Alex

His smile vanished and he glared at him before walking home.

Alex smirked.

Calculating how Jeremy was behaving and how Emily was reacting...

"We Needn't do anything..Everything will happen on its own..

All we need to do is wait.."Alex said with a glint in his eye

"How are you so sure?"Jack asked

Alex chuckled"She's our Emily..It will take time but when she reacts..Jeremy will not be able to stand it..And he will have to agree with us.."

Jack shrugged.

Alex grinned and got into his car

It was his game,and he would have to wait before moving his coins.
