I feel like I've been ripped away from my own self. I used to float around in the library, trying to stop myself from becoming insane. Now, me and them have been ripped away. I float the scenes of the real world, unheard and unseen, but always there and always broken.
"I love you more." Lizzie muttered beside me, but she didn't see me. I placed a hand her shoulder, but it didn't make an impact.
"I would die again for you, buttercup. I've died before and I would die again. Over and over for you." I smiled, and she glanced around. She didn't see me, she most likely didn't even know I spoke, but she sensed someone was there.
I sighed, walking away to the swing in my garden. I sat on it, not really swinging, just sort of... twisting. Slow tears trickled down my face.
I glanced down at my hands. They were a light grey, translucent and cloudy. Everything about my skin and hair was a shade of sickly grey. My hoodie was dark blue, a bloody slash through my abdomen.
Owen came and sat on the swing beside me, tears still in his eyes. "Three weeks." He stated. "Three weeks you've been gone, yet it feels like years." He chuckled, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Oh, god, Pearl. Just send a sign. Let me know you're alright."
I sniffed, placing my hands on his. "Owen, if I could, I would. But I'm alright, at least I think I am."

Scott sat on the floor, books surrounding him. I sat next to him, reading over the books he's thrown aside.
"I know I can find this. I know they can come back. Pearl, if you can hear me, know I'm going to get you back, even if I fucking die while doing it." His voice was hoarse, hair dishevelled and dark, eyes greener than I've ever seen them.
I hurried up to the top shelf, metres above the floor. I floated across the shelves searching for the book he needed.
'Cause and effect, why people die' nope. 'The grey areas, the bridge between life and death and why Limbo is different for all' uh, nope.
'God from below. How to bring people back from Limbo' perfect.
I threw it down, cringing as it nearly hit Scott. He yelped, but still examined it.
"Perfect. Pearl, you're coming home!" He called out, and I smiled. If anyone can bring me back, its him.
