"Wake up... Wake up, please... You're still alive, right?..."

You slowly wake up, not putting in the effort to open your eyes more than just a small sliver. You just lied there, motionless, until you realized that you thought you heard someone. Probably just my imagination. I guess I'm really that tired...

But then you felt yourself shaking. After a few moments of waiting and starting to shake faster, you realized that there was a pair of hands on your side. They must be the cause of the shaking.

...Wait, that means...

You opened your eyes all the way and rolled over. Your vision was a little blurry, but you were able to see a familiar face after a second or two. "...You picked my lock, didn't you?"

Kokichi stepped away from you and smiled cheekily as if everything was normal. "Nishshi! Aw, I guess I can't lie to you on this one."

You sat up, rubbing your temples. "You know... If you were anyone else, I'd be really p*ssed right now and I'd probably kick you out."

"Hm. That's a pretty backward thing to say, now isn't it?"

"I guess," you replied with a shrug. You looked over at your clock. It was only ten minutes after the morning announcement. Huh. I wonder what could have gotten me to sleep so much... You tried to rack through your brain for any possible answer, and that was when you remembered what had happened the other evening. "Wait... Why are you here?"

"So we could work again? And you didn't answer me when I knocked on the door for about the last five minutes? And I was nervous about you?"

"Sorry for keeping you waiting..." You awkwardly looked away and rubbed at the back of your neck. "Um... You're not mad?"

Kokichi tilted his head at you. "Eh?"

"For what happened yesterday."

You gave the boy a side glance. He was now also looking away to the side, and you couldn't see his face. "Of course I'm not mad at you. Hah, that's still on your mind? That's...adorable, but we have more important things to do! Wouldn't you agree?"

"Um..." You noticed how he was fidgeting with his hands a bit. I should probably just go with it. "Right. So are we heading to my lab?"

"Actually, I was wanting to hang around here for a while."

You tilted your head at him in confusion. "Why is that?"

"I'll explain later. For now, I think that you should probably get something to eat."

"But...the others—"

Kokichi waved his hand dismissively at you. "It would probably be best that they know you're doing fine. Just go, and tell me if you here something interesting, alright?"

You hesitated a bit before nodding at him. "Yeah...alright, then." You stood up and stretched, straightening out your clothes and running a hand through your hair before you walked over to the door. You glanced at the boy one last time before you left for the dining hall.

You entered the dormitory again, ready to go up the stairs to head to your room...until you saw Kokichi emerge from Shuichi's dorm. "Um...Kokichi?"

"Oh! There you are! I was wondering what took you so long!" he chirped.

You just sighed. "Well, I had to find an explanation to the others about where I've been yesterday. Then they mentioned that they were planning on meeting up together tonight at the gym so that they could...fight Monokuma?"

"Fight Monokuma?" Kokichi parroted in a questioning tone. "Psh. And how do they plan on doing that?"

"They're going to get weapons from Maki's lab... After that, though, they started asking about my relationship with you." You saw how the boy raised an eyebrow at you, so you continued. "Maki started to wonder if my absence yesterday was somehow linked to you. She asked me if I was planning something bad with you... Then stupid Tsumugi brought up how close we are, and she basically added to her suspicions. Shuichi, Himiko, and Kaito had to help me out of the situation."

Kokichi scoffed and crossed his arms. You noticed that in one of his hands, he was holding the same tools he had on him when he claimed to be lock picking into your room. "Of course Maki would be the one to make such a claim." There was an obvious bitterness in his tone, and even though you were sure that it wasn't aimed at you, you couldn't help but to feel a bit nervous.

"A-Anyway... I brought this for you. Sorry that it isn't as great as yesterday's food. I couldn't bring some good food back with me without raising questions since there were actually people in the dining hall with me in there."

Kokichi's scowl was washed away with a bright smiled directed at you. "Aw, don't worry! I appreciate the thought!" He patted you on the head like you were a small child—was that really needed?—and took the bag that you were holding in your hands.

"So... Mind telling me what you were doing in Shuichi's room?"

"Oh! I was just trying to check everyone's room for anything suspicious. You know, I can do that because of my amazing lock picking skills!"

"Where did you even learn how to lock pick?"

The small boy grinned up at you mischievously. "Duh, 'cause I'm a Phantom thief and a leader of evil. What good is an Ultimate Supreme Leader who can't even pick a lock?"

You stood there for a second, trying to process what he had said before just giving up on it. "...Right... Did you find anything yet?"

"Hm, let's see..." Kokichi tapped his chin as he seemed to be trying to remember. "...Nah, nothing good so far. Just a weird collection of Monokuma dolls in Shuichi's room, and a bunch of sex toys in Miu's room. Typical."

"I think that both of those could be a cause for concern."

"Ah-haha! Yeah, you're right. But who knows what we might find in the next room!? And the next room will be...!" He looked around, probably looking for a new room that he hasn't already broken into already. "...Oh, it's just plain, boring Tsumugi. I bet that she doesn't have anything interesting, so we might as well skip her, right?"

"But yesterday, didn't you say that she was so boring that she seemed suspicious to you? I don't know, I just thought that you might wanted to check anyway..."

"True, true. I did say that, and you bring up a good point, (Y/N), so just for you, we can do that, alright?"

He didn't give you any time to answer. He was already bouncing up to Tsumugi's door and picking at the lock. You watched him with interest, noting how he worked carefully. You examined his face. He seemed to be entirely focused until he finally heard some soft clicking noises. "Got it," he mumbled.

He swung the door open with great enthusiasm. "Behold my magnificent work!" he exclaimed.

You smiled softly at him. "You sure are someone else..."

"After you~" Kokichi bowed and tipped his imaginary hat.

You walked inside the room and started to look around. It seemed pretty normal. There were a few posters up on the walls, all for animes that you weren't quite sure if you've heard of before. One seemed to be about a bunch of young heroes, just based on how they were all dressed and dramatically posed. A boy with green hair was in the front, must be the main character. Another poster showed a butler and most likely his younger master. There were some more, but you didn't bother to look at them.

"Ew, it's some weebish stuff," Kokichi whined as he walked up to your side. "How about we draw all over her posters and break her figures that I just found? Ooh! Ooh! Let's check her bathroom! I bet she has some sort of weird shrine to her imaginary senpai~!"

"I doubt that she'd—"

You were too late. Kokichi had already rushed into the bathroom. He didn't even close the front door. What would happen if someone came into the dormitory and found us? Or even worse, if it's Tsumugi... Frowning, you walked over and made sure to close the door.

From in the bathroom, you heard, "Oh, did I just hear my beloved close the door on us? Did you lock it?" An elongated gasp cut in before he continued. "Are you planning for us to do something freaky and on Tsumugi's bed!?"

You felt some heat rise to your cheeks, but thankfully Kokichi wasn't able to see you. Trying to clear that out of your memory, you looked around some more. You noticed that she had a figurine on her nightstand. Now that, you recognized as Miku.

Out of nowhere, you felt the urge to pick up and examine it. So you did. You picked it up, but instead of finding something interesting in the figurine itself, you noticed that its large round base was actually hiding a card of some sorts. It was just a normal black color, and it had some weird icon that you vaguely remembered appearing in your Monopad. You blinked at it before your thoughts were able to process properly. In the next second, you snatched it up from the nightstand and placed Miku right back where she was.

Then Kokichi popped out from the bathroom. He seemed a bit paler in the face than he had whenever he first entered. His legs seemed to shake a bit, and you started to wonder if they were going to give out underneath him.

You quickly rushed over to him, arms out, ready just in case he was actually going to collapse. "Kokichi! Are you okay? What did you see in there?"

"Tsumugi ships a few people in this killing game like characters in an anime," he mumbled senselessly. "Practically worships them like a god..."

He seems out of it... He could be over exaggerating though. "Is... Are you lying, or something? Tell me what you saw in there."

Kokichi just stared down at his hands for a while. After some time, a blush spread across his cheeks. Apparently it was so bad that he even felt the need to cover up his face with his hands. It was at that point that you realized that it was probably just the best if you didn't try to look at what he found, no matter how curious it made you.

"Kokichi, I found something myself," you whispered to him, not quite sure if he had fully recovered yet.

Slowly, the boy pulled his hands away from his face. "...Hm? Oh yeah, we were looking for things...I think... You didn't find anything shippy, did you?"

"Unless this," you pulled out the card in front of his face so that he could see it, "leads to some sort of secret shrine room, then no."

"What is this?"

"Like hell would I know," you huffed. "Is it just a useless item, or does there happen to be some place where we can use it?"

"Hm..." Kokichi tapped the card to his chin a few times before looking back at you. "I think that I have an idea...but perhaps now isn't the best time to use it."

"Huh? What are you thinking about?"

"I'll show you tonight."

"Tonight..." you repeated. "...But the others will be out tonight, remember? They'll be at the gym preparing to fight Monokuma."

"Obviously, we'll do it after their little soiree."

You looked into his eyes, trying to look deeper into the sea of purple. "...Kokichi, are you planning something?"

Kokichi just shrugged. "Nishishi, maybe? And where did you get that idea from?"

"I just have a strange feeling..."

"Well, I'm not in the mood to tell you, even if I was up to something!" He flashed you a childish grin. "Besides, it's just not in my nature to spill the beans that easily. After all, I am a supreme leader of evil."

You gave him a small smile of exasperation. "Ah, right... I hoped that you would've been willing to open up to me if you were up to something...but I guess that isn't the case." You swore that you saw him wince just the smallest bit. "Well... If you are planning something tonight, then I trust you. Prove to me that this isn't a bad choice, alright?"

Kokichi stayed silent, only staring at you for a few seconds before swallowing hard. Then he nodded at you, and you handed him the card. Your hands temporarily brushed each other for just a brief second as he took it away.

"I'm glad to know that someone trusts me," the boy said, surprisingly quiet and serious. "I'll try my best to not disappoint you."

"Thanks for opening up to me," you mumbled.

"...Hey, I actually have to go do something. Heh, evil supreme leaders things, you know. I'll see you later."

"Oh, um, alright..." If you were to be honest, you weren't really expecting for him to leave you so soon. What should I do in the meantime?

"Aww, you already miss me, huh? And I haven't even left yet!" Kokichi smiled cheekily at you, and then out of nowhere, he wrapped his arms around you in a hug. "It's... It's probably gonna be a while until you can see me again, so take this as our small farewell, alright?"

More and more heat rose to your face. "A-Alright." You hugged him back, and before you realized it, he was out the door.

The land was dark, and the sky was black. You had gotten so used to this seemingly artificial world that you didn't even hope to hear some crickets or owls crying out and cutting through the silence. Sometimes the silence was nice. Sometimes, it was downright disturbing... And then other times, it was just annoying.

You craved for some sort of interaction, which, as you looked back on it, seemed rather backwards to your normal personality. Kokichi hadn't lied when he told you that it might be a while before you would see him again. In fact, since then, you haven't seen him at all, no matter how hard you tried. It was mildly infuriating.

However, you just hoped that with the gathering at the gym, Kokichi might appear before you all once more. It then hit you that he'll have to act evil. The Kokichi that everyone else saw him as. Please don't dig your grave any deeper than it needs to be...

Sighing to keep your composure, you continued to the gym. Actually, with all of your thinking, you realized that you were right outside of the gym's doors. A bit nervous, you pulled on the handle to open the doors and walked inside. Everyone else that was at breakfast was there, and a giant pile of weapons were on the floor as well.

"Ah, (Y/N)! You're finally here!" Kaito cheered. "So now we have everyone, so let's get started! You guys better be ready!"

"Ah...you don't mean ready to die, right?" Tsumugi asked him.

"What? No! I mean ready to fight and win, obviously! We challenged him a bunch of times, but it never worked out, right? That's because...we gave up. But this time we can't give up! 'Cause this is our final chance! We're gonna beat up Monokuma and end this ridiculous killing ga—"

"What a coinkydink—I was planning on ending this killing game, too." An all too familiar voice interrupted Kaito.

Your eyes shot towards the door, where Kokichi swaggered into the gym. You couldn't help it when your eyes lit up just a bit at the sight of him.

"Kokichi!?" you and Shuichi both said at the same time, however with Shuichi saying it with more shock and disbelief while you sounded just a bit more excited, and perhaps even a bit relieved.

Then you noticed that the boy had some other things with him. In his hand was what looked like a pink bomb, and next to him were some pink flashy hammers. Is this what he left for? Perhaps he needed to prepare these for...whatever is coming next.

"Y'know...I was also thinking about how to end this killing game as soon as possible," Kokichi said casually. You didn't fail to notice how his eyes scanned around the room at everyone's reaction to his presence.

"You little—!" Kaito grumbled. "What are you—!"

"I wouldn't move if I were you. At least, if you don't wanna become this li'l guy's prey."

"...Is that a bomb?" Maki suddenly asked him.

"Yup, it's exactly that. Which means... If you don't wanna be blown to pieces, then you need to listen to what I'm about to tell you." He examined everyone's reactions some more, casually tossing the bomb around his hands as if it were some sort of toy to play with.

"Wait, what was I gonna tell you?"

"You little—! What are you gonna do with that bomb!?" Kaito growled at him with a scornful expression.

"Oh, yeeeeah. I was gonna tell you my purpose." Kokichi temporarily held the bomb still. "Y'know how it says in the rules that the killing game will continue until there are only two people left? But it never mentioned anything about how many you can kill, right? So, here's a question for everyone... Who wants to survive with me? Just the two of us."

"Are you planning to kill us all with that bomb!?" Himiko cried out.

Kaito's face darkened with dread. "Then the way you were gonna end the killing game is..."

No, this can't be what he was planning... Right, it must be some sort of diversion or something like that.

Kokichi smiled cheerfully. "I thought maybe I should kill eeeeveryone! Except for me and, like, one other person. If I did that, I'd be able to end the killing game and still abide by school rules, right?

"...Well then, who wants to live? It's first come, first serve! On the count of three, first one to raise their hand wins!"

"Q-Quit screwing around!" Kaito barked. "Who'd ever agree to that plan!?"

"I could think of one person," the boy replied, but he wasn't really heard.

"Even if you threaten to destroy me, I have no intention of being manipulated by you," Kiibo declared.

"I-I'm scared of dying... But nothing good will come from surviving with you." Himiko grumbled this as she glared at Kokichi from underneath her hat.

"I also...don't want to survive with someone who'd do such a thing to Gonta," Tsumugi spoke, gripping on fiercely to her arm. Then you suddenly remembered the card that you found in her room.

Best not to trust her that much for now... you thought. But then again, Kokichi and I did break in and enter her room...

"...I'd rather kill you." Of course Maki would say that.

"Kokichi...you just don't get it," Shuichi spoke up. "We're not going to do what you want—"

"Wooow, what a surprise," Kokichi suddenly said, poking his index finger into his cheek. "I didn't think this would go exactly as I predicted." He laughed once he saw the dumbfounded look on everyone's faces—well, except for yours. "Ah-haha, I lied about killing everyone! I just wanted to test your determination!"

"Determination!?" Shuichi repeated, still confused but sounding a bit more agitated this time.

"Yeah!" The boy had his hands balled up into fists near his face, and over exaggerated stars seemed to have formed in his eyes. "I wanted to see if you guys were determined enough to end this killing game. So, let's work together! We can use the Ultimate Anti-Monokuma Weapons!"

You walked over to where the hammers were laying on the ground. "So you were retrieving these, huh?" you whispered, not really expecting for Kokichi to hear you though.

Kaito just rolled his eyes and growled. "There's no reason to listen to him, guys!"

Why don't you shut up? "Just let him talk," you found yourself spitting out. You didn't know that you could speak with that much venom in your tone.

"Yeah! Hear me ouuut. This is also Miu's memento."

"Miu's memento?" You tilted your head to the side, looking at him curiously.

"Yeah, they're called Electrohammers, and they're something I asked Miu to invent. They're a pretty incredible invention that disables any electronic machine on contact."

"Disables...electronic machines?" Kiibo repeated, looking more terrified by the second.

"Nishishi... I bet that includes Kiibo too. They should be helpful against Monokuma, right?"

"Hey, how did you know we were gonna fight Mono—"

"I have my ways," he responded smoothly. When no one was looking, he sneaked a wink over to your direction. "But I was just so elated once I heard that you guys wanted to fight Monokuma. 'Cause that was my plan all along... That's how I wanna end this killing game. And that's why I asked Miu to make this. To defeat Monokuma and the Monokubs."

"...Don't lie," Maki sighed bitterly. "You've been fixated on this killing game the whole time."

Kaito angrily held up a fist and clenched his teeth. "Is that really something Miu made? Aren't you lying about that, too?"

"This doesn't make sense..." Shuichi mumbled. "If Miu made that weapon, why didn't she use that instead of murdering someone?"

"Yeah!" Himiko yelled in agreement. "If there were weapons to fight against Monokuma, we should've all fought together!"

"...This is all your fault," Kokichi replied, placing a finger up to his lips. Then he looked down at the floor, dropping the act in favor of pretending to be sad. "I told Miu, too, y'know? Around the time I asked her to invent this. I told her that we should fight against Monokuma.

"But she was paranoid that someone here would betray all of the rest of us... 'Someone will betray us...' That's what she said... Well, the Exisals were still moving at the time so I don't blame her, but... She was afraid to...trust you guys. The fear of betrayal overcame her. That's why she bloodied her hands in this killing game."

"That idiot..." Kaito sighed.

"But you guys are different. You guys wouldn't lose to the fear of your friends betraying you, right? You showed your determination to fight together, and you ignored my advice from earlier."

"...And you would lie about killing all of us just to test that theory?" Shuichi asked him.

"Yeah, that's why I want you guys to do your best."

"Quit screwing around!" Kaito yelled at the boy. "What are you saying!? You probably just lied about talking to Miu—"

"Oh, by the way, the Electrohammers weren't the only thing Miu made... She made this thing, too." Kokichi held up the bomb. "Nishishi... This isn't exactly a bomb, even if it is called an Electrobomb. It jams electronic signals by scattering particles that interfere with electromagnetic waves. For two hours, any and all electronic devices withing fifty yards will be completely disabled. It's perfect for any secret activities too, since it doesn't leave any debris behind. This invention is extraordinary! But I only have three of them, so I need to use them carefully. You guys will have to settle for the Electrohammers."

"...And what are you intending for us to use them on?" you spoke up.

"You could always try to use them on Monokuma. But they have multiple uses, so that means...you could use them to get through the underground tunnel. You can use the Electrohammers to destroy the electronic traps in that place."

If he's wanting us to use the Electrohammers to make it through the tunnel then there must be something on the other side that he wants us to see. It has to be like that... You silently started to tap your chin in thought.

"Do you all finally want to start believing me?" Kokichi asked teasingly. "But, be careful. Electrohammers run out of battery pretty quickly. So if you use it against an Exisal, it'll run out of juice with just one shot, got it? Once the batter depletes, it takes 24 hours to fully charge, so watch out for that. Anywaaay, I'm done explaining, so I'll just hand these over. I'll let you guys talk it over. I won't interfere anymore, either."

"Wait, so you're just going to leave all of this with us and entirely leave...?" you questioned.

Kokichi smiled at you. "Don't worry...! I'll be looking from a distance...or something like that. Unlike you, the others don't want me around anyway." You noticed that his smile dropped a bit at that last part, and you could feel yourself wince a bit as well.

"W-Wait, before you run off again..." You were surprised to see Shuichi speaking up. "There's something I need to ask you. What was that writing in the courtyard? That message Gonta found. 'This world is mine,' I believe it said. Did you write that? And if you did...why?"

"Hm, what's that? I have no idea."

"D-Don't play dumb!" Himiko suddenly shouted at him. "Your name is on it! You've gotta be the one who did it!"

Kokichi tilted his head and poked a finger into his cheek. "But I wouldn't gain anything from writing a message like that, would I? That would just make you guys suspect I'm the mastermind."

"The mastermind?"

"Yeah... 'This world is mine. Kokichi Ouma' would make me seem like the mastermind... Oh, I know! This is all Monokuma's doing. He's trying to get us to suspect each other! But, don't worry. I truly wanna end this killing—"

Before he could finish his sentence, a dark shadow swooped in. The next thing that anyone knew, Maki had her hand wrapped tightly around Kokichi's neck, suspending him at least an inch up into the air.

"Tell us the truth. What are you scheming?" Maki asked him in a cold tone. Her ruby eyes seemed to be glowing.

"L-Like I said, I just wanna end this killing game, that's all..."

"If you don't tell us the truth, then I'll break you." Her knuckles grew whiter, which meant that her grip tightened. You felt anger and hatred bubble inside of your body...

"Maki Roll, cut it out!" Kaito yelled.

"..."

"...You idiot! As if that's going to change anything!" you growled. "If you really have to be her Prince Charming then you'll need to put at least a little more effort into it...!"

"Okay, okay!" He paused to look at you for a moment, but you figured that he was too caught up in Maki to really think about you that much. "You'll get killed if you don't! I told you we can't play this killing game! That's just what Monokuma wants!"

"..." Maki just stared at Kaito for the longest amount of time. He gulped nervously, but maintained eye contact with her. And then, finally, she leaned in to Kokichi's ear and whispered something into his ear. Then she threw him a good distance away from her.

"K-Kokichi!" You rushed over to catch him in your arms, your back turned to the others. You could feel him tremble ever so slightly, and his chest heaved to welcome more oxygen into his lungs. "How are you feeling?" you whispered. He didn't answer you for a while, just breathing in and out, and glaring at Maki all the while.

"...Geez," he said after some time, "...y-you're such a meanie. How could you do something like this to a friend?"

"...Friend? As if."

"Y-You guys may not think that way, but I...see all of you as my friends... Th-That's why...I'll be back. I won't interfere anymore... So please...continue to walk the path you believe in."

You could see the cracks in his metaphorical mask. It pained you to see Kokichi acting like that... "Please, let me go with you," you whispered quietly to him.

"..."

"At least tell me what Maki said to you."

"...She... She told me that she'd kill me in the most horrible way possible if it weren't for this killing game..." he whispered, voice so soft that you could just barely hear it.

Your eyes widened in surprise. "I swear I'm going to beat her up...!"

He weakly placed a hand over yours and shook his head. "Don't."

"Why are you keeping him here?" Maki asked coldly. "If you let go of him, then he'll be able to leave. The sooner he gets out of here the better."

You were about to turn your entire head around to glare at the girl until you felt a shaky hand latch onto the side of your face, cupping your cheek gently. You were just glad that your back was to turned to the others, so for the most part, it covered up what was happening.

"Just let me go, please," he whispered to you. "You said... You said that you'd trust me...didn't you?"

"Th-That's..." You gulped. "...That's true... Alright then..."

Your cheek felt dreadfully cold once Kokichi pulled his hand back. You took a step back from him, holding out a hand so that he could stand up easier. You were just glad that he took it rather than ignoring it and trying to do it himself.

Your hand felt like it was on fire, and you loved it. However, all of the flames died once his hand was out of yours. Your heart sank to the floor as you watched him stumble to the exit without any other words.

"...What should we do?" Kiibo spoke up after a long pause.

"You mean about the hammers?" Tsumugi asked. "They've gotta be booby trapped somehow..."

"But looking at it, it definitely seems like something Miu made," Himiko remarked.

"Either way, I refuse to believe anything he says," Maki sighed.

"...But, y'know...if it's not a lie, then isn't this our one chance to escape?" Kaito seemed to be having some difficulty getting the words out. Perhaps it was because he was considering for once that Kokichi was being honest. "If we use these Electrohammers, maybe we can get through the underground passage."

"And that's why we should try it," you interjected.

"Wait, you're saying we should...actually do what Kokichi is suggesting?" Kiibo asked. He seemed tense.

"No matter what we do, it'll be dangerous," Tsumugi commented. "But of course you would believe Kokichi..."

"Hey!" You felt the anger boiling inside of you.

"Calm down..." Kaito held up his hands. "...Our goal is to escape with everyone, right? If there's a chance we can do it, then we should take it. We don't...have enough time... You know, with Monokuma. Like, he's gonna get in our way soon."

Kiibo looked down in consideration. "True, this is our best chance now that he's not making any obvious movements..."

Kaito then smiled at everyone. "So let's try the underground passage with these hammers. We'll get to the outside world!"

"You're right..." Himiko piped up. "If we can escape, we'll find out the secret of the outside world for ourselves."

"We don't know if that's a lie or the truth, though..." Kiibo spoke again, doubt seeping through his voice.

"...You're right. We have to try," Shuichi spoke up with a determined look on his face.

"Yeah, that's all we've got! Well, the secret of the outside world might just be a lie anyway!"

"Either way, we should at least try. So we won't have any regrets."

"What do you want to do, Maki?"

"...If that hammer is a trap, then I'll really kill that a**h—"

You decided to just cut her off right there. "You can't kill him, remember?"

"Yeah... Just punch him," Kaito said casually. You glared at him for that.

"...I know. I'm just going to beat him to a bloody pulp."

You turned your head to start to glare at Maki. Sure, Kokichi has done some pretty bad things... But is that really enough to want to kill him over it? You let out a disgruntled sigh before deciding you should just let it go for the time being. "Well, what are we waiting for? There's no point in standing around here like this."

"Yeah, that's the spirit!" Kaito cheered.

I don't think that you understood my tone very well...

"Alright! Let's get going! We're gonna escape from the underground passage for sure this this time!"

"Yes, let's go!"

"I'll be cheering for you."

Everyone grabbed their hammers, including you. You could sense the hope in everyone, and you saw how everyone left the gym in high spirits. You, on the other hand, could only feel anxious as you stepped out of the gym to follow the group of students.
