Ugh... oh geez, my head, you thought. You tried to raise a hand to your head, but found that something was restricting your movement. "Huh..?" you whispered quietly to yourself. There were small slots for you to peek out of. A... classroom? Through what little vision you were given, you could see that you were in some sort of classroom like setting. Rows of small desks with their respective seats were split by a long walking path in the middle of the entire room. Wanting to get out and investigate, you held your hands out in front of you. When they made contact with a hard cold metal, you began to shake and rattle it until finally it gave way, causing you to go tumbling to the floor.
"Agh!" you yelped. You supported your body with your shoulders, quickly pulling a hand up to see dirt on it from the floor. Steadily, you managed to balance yourself and brush dust off your clothes. You were wearing a black shirt that had very thin dark purple lines running across, the sleeves ending just at your elbows. Black jeans covered your legs, but the ends were rolled up to where they were halfway between your ankle and knee. Old tennis shoes adorned your feet.
"Where am I?" you sighed. Having more sight of the place around you now, you took some time to take everything in. There was a screen in the front of the room which illuminated an ominous green light. There were three lockers to its side, one of which you had just came out of. A monitor set hung above, really just being a tv screen along with a lot of speakers put alongside it. To the left side of the room were windows, but you found that they were covered up with barbed wire. What the hell? You shook your head, and your eyes landed on the door. "Hmm."
Walking out of the classroom, you found yourself standing out in what seemed to be a normal hall in a regular school building. Except, there were numerous amounts of various plant types dominating everything. There was no floor, only grass. There were walls, although vines had started to grow over. Though it was slightly unsettling and disturbing, at the same time it was very much exciting and intriguing.
You heard footsteps, quickly approaching you.
You spun around, only to find two other teenagers like yourself running at you. They were quite a distance away. You set one foot back and braced your arms behind your back, putting yourself in a good stance if they were to attack. They didn't seem like the type, though, especially not the girl who was running. The boy did look a bit more suspicious, relative to her, but he still seemed decent. After a few seconds of waiting the two finally reached you.
"H-H-H...Hi there!" the girl announced, struggling to pronounce the greeting correctly through her heavy pants. The boy beside her didn't speak, for he was breathing heavily too—instead he just waved. "Ah, s-sorry that you h-had to see me... like this," she said, slowly regaining air in her lungs again. "Way to make a first impression, isn't it?" The girl bore a bright smile, and had gentle purple eyes. Her hair was blonde, and you noticed that she had cute music note hair clips in her bangs. She was wearing a pink shirt with a weird symbol on it, as well as a skirt with more music notes on a staff designing it. You also couldn't help but to notice the small white backpack that she had.
"Oh, yeah! I am Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Pianist." Kaede looked at her friend.
"O-Oh, uh, I'm Shuichi Saihara, t-the Ultimate Detective," Shuichi said bashfully. He had on an overall just dark outfit, silver buttons, other small accessories, and his own unique design decorated his top. There was a nice hat that fit his color scheme, resting upon his dark blue hair. His grayish eyes reached the floor.
"What about you?" Kaede asked.
"Hm? Me?" you asked. She nodded, and you let out a sigh. "(Y/N) (L/N), Ultimate Holder."
"Ultimate... Holder?" Shuichi asked confused, head tilted.
"Yes, I hold all truths and seek all truths to the news I hear. Which, has an interesting effect on my outlook on lies, in its own way," you explained.
"Alright!" Kaede smiled. "Hey, you just woke up in that classroom, right?" She pointed at the nearby door in which you had came out of. "Would you like to go around to see if there are any other people around with us?"
You didn't really like the sound of that. Well, you were considering the nice gesture, you aren't that... cold. However, you were still hesitant, despite knowing someone of their nature wouldn't do anything bad to you. "Um... I think that I'm fine for now. If I change my mind then I'll make sure to find you all."
Kaede and Shuichi nodded in respect. "Ok, see you around. Let's go, Kaede," Shuichi said. He tugged on the girl's arm and they started walking off towards the other direction. You looked down for a second, then looked back up.
The next few minutes was just you wandering cluelessly around. The school-like building was actually way bigger than any normal place, and it was definitely bigger than you would have ever suspected. Suddenly, you heard humming. Cautiously you stepped around the corner, only to find a male with green hair and eyes, a blue shirt with a black compass design on it, brown pants, and numerous other accessories like a necklace, a few bracelets and some rings. You looked at him in wonder. What an odd yet physically attractive looking male, you thought. Really, who couldn't stop and appreciate his outfit? You were lost in thought, so much so that you didn't even realize him approaching you until his hand was rested upon your shoulder.
"Hehe, um, excuse me," the teen asked with a slight chuckle. "Do you need something?"
"W-Waah!" you yelped in surprise. "Don't do that!" you scolded. "I... could surely knock you out on a whim..!"
The male put a hand up and rubbed his neck as he responded with, "Yeah, sure you could; but sorry for scaring you that badly." Putting his hand back down, he suddenly smiled and looked you directly in the eye. "My name's Rantaro Amami. You know how everyone here is suppose to have an ultimate talent? Well, sorry but I... uh, it seems like I've forgotten it. What about you?"
"Just call me (Y/N), and I'm the Ultimate Truth Holder." Again, you had to explain your talent to someone. At the end, Rantaro nodded to show he understood.
"Ah... got it. That sounds interesting." He smiled slightly. "Hey, have you met any of the others?"
"Hm, so there are more... Well, so far I've only seen Kaede, Shuichi, and you," you responded. "Why?"
He shook his head. "Nothing." He let his gaze slowly drift towards something else. "Just met someone whom I thought you'd find interesting. They have a... pretty unique attitude, I must say. So far, it seems like almost everyone hates them. If you happen to find them then you'll know."
"'Them'? So they aren't a girl or a boy?" you asked.
"Nah, I'm just keeping the pronouns a secret so you can figure it out on your own," Rantaro told you, adding a small wink. "I should be going now. I'll be around if you need me for whatever reason. See you later." He walked away.
Huh... well that encounter was interesting. Someone who's forgotten their talent... That alone was pretty suspicious to you, but you had looked deep into his eyes and found nothing bad hiding there. "So far, everyone whom I've met with it seems that I can trust," you mumbled to yourself. But you knew that that wasn't going to always be the case, especially not in a mysterious place like this.
Soon after, you found a grand door painted red. "Let's see what's inside." Opening the doors you found two girls at what seemed like a dining hall. One had red hair, and kind of reminded you of a witch of some sort. The other had long hair and a nice blue outfit. I should go greet myself... you wondered.
"Hi," you said to the girl with red hair. She turned to you with a bored expression.
"Nyeeh, what a pain to be bothered by someone like you," she said in response. Even though her words were offensive, it seemed like she didn't care at all so her tone was flat. "Fall to your knees, for I... am Himiko Yumeno, the Ultimate Mage!" There's no such thing, you thought. You stared deeply into her eyes, and in only second or two she started shaking. "Alright... more like, the Ultimate Magician."
You nodded. "Nice to meet you." You introduced your name and yet again explained your talent.
"Nyeh, you can go now. I'm out of mana."
You frowned a little at her behavior and walked across the room to where the other girl was standing. You waved politely. "Hello, uh.. how are you..?"
She turned quickly and almost hit you in the face. "Hah! I am Tenko Chabashira, the Ultimate Aikido Master! What about you, low one?" Ugh, she didn't even answer my question... oh well.
"(Y/N) (L/N)," you said, and then began to explain your talent yet again. You quickly made for the exit, and upon leaving you felt... different. That room is just full of negativity, you thought. You wandered around some more.
"Why hello!" someone jumped out. The sudden action scared you, causing you to jump back a bit. You were now at what seemed to be the entrance, and a possible exit to the nightmare you were stuck in. However, you knew it would be too good to be true. Nevertheless, your entire focus was now on the masked man in front of you. He had long dark hair, yellowish eyes, and of course the mask that covered up part of his nose and the place where his mouth should be. His outfit was... hard to describe. It was brown, adorned with smaller things like buttons and chains on it that seemed to be silver. The teen had a red band on his arm.
"Ah..!" you yelped, before regaining your composure. "Now if I may, would you... please refrain from doing things like that? They are quite unnerving and unnecessary."
"Kehehe," the teen laughed. "Humans and their emotions... so beautifully interesting..!" he continued on. His tone when he spoke just then... it sent chills down your spine. This man is really creeping me out right now, you contemplated in your head. You got an uneasy feeling in your stomach.
"I'm.. (Y/N) (L/N), the Ultimate Holder. I know my talent sounds confusing, but it seems like I've already had to explain it too many times." The male nodded in understanding. "...You?"
"My name is Korekiyo Shinguji... I am called the Ultimate Anthropologist." You nodded and looked over. You found a staircase leading downstairs, and ultimately decided to check for people down there before seeing what awaited you on the other side of the building's entrance.

You came back upstairs, after having met Ryoma Hoshi, the Ultimate Tennis Pro, as well as Maki, who claimed to be the Ultimate Child Caregiver. Although... she really didn't seem like the kind to like kids. And you sure wouldn't take excuse she gave you. When you had looked into her ruby red eyes, you knew that something was up; she was just hiding it. When you questioned about it, she had refused to say anything else. You headed outside.
You were instantly met with fresh air, and sweet sunlight touched your skin. You had to squint your eyes before they adjusted because the sun was so bright. That was when you saw it. A big wall enclosing the building. You felt like a specimen trapped in a cage. It made you feel helpless. It made you feel powerless. Your legs started to shake underneath you, so you led yourself over to a nearby bench. No, just... imagine.. imagine what?? You held your head. Everything's under control, you have power against this. You felt it turning. D-D*mn it... you could feel your eyes getting warm.
"E-Excuse Gonta," you heard a loud, deep voice sound in beside you. There was a tall... really tall male standing in front of you. He had messy green hair, and red eyes. A brown suit and pants covered his bulky body. He looks as if he could squash me at any second like a bug..! you thought alarmingly. You gulped. Then, the giant smiled a nice innocent smile.
"Gonta see you sitting on bench, you look upset. Something wrong?" he asked. You could hear genuine concern in his voice. You started to contemplate on what to say; whether you answered truthfully or not, it didn't matter since it would show, you reasoned. Besides, I doubt that he'd notice such a small detail... or, is it even really that small? Oh well, have to answer before he gets suspicious.
"Just thinking about stuff," you replied, and turning your head away for a second you added, "no big deal." You cleared your throat and looked back up at him. "I'm (Y/N) (L/N), Ultimate... eh, whatever. I've explained it too much, plus it doesn't really matter."
"Oh, I see! Gonta's name is Gonta Gokuhara. Gonta's talent is Ultimate Entomologist," Gonta spoke. He then looked like he remembered something. "Gonta want you to meet friend! He over there." He pointed to a spot, and you could see someone there. Without giving another word, you nodded and headed over.
The person you were now right behind had spiky magenta hair and seemed to be wearing a magenta coat on as well. You tapped his shoulder silently.
"Hm?" He turned around to see you. "Oh, hey..!" You waved slightly. Now that he was facing you, you saw that he had purple eyes. A nice galaxy pattern was on the underside of his coat, and he was wearing a white shirt with the same color magenta pants. So... this guy likes space.
"Um... I'm (Y/N) (L/N)," you spoke. He gave you a smile that showed off his teeth.
"I am Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars!" he exclaimed enthusiastically. You were just glad that he didn't ask about your talent. "As the Ultimate Astronaut, I will rule the galaxy... once we get out of here." His expression's happiness dropped a bit, but he shook his head and returned to his former state. The two of you had an awkward moment of silence. . .
"I... think I'll go see if there's anyone else." Kaito nodded and returned to his own business, letting you be.

Sheesh, that's been a lot of people. Is there anyone else?! You had met with Miu Iruma, Ultimate Inventor, Angie Yonaga, Ultimate Artist, Kirumi Tojo (in what seemed to be a dormitory), who was the Ultimate Maid, and Tsumugi Shriogane, the Ultimate Cosplayer—strange talent, compared to the others. You were now just walking around bored in the hallways, seemingly having met everyone. Thinking about, you remembered Rantaro saying that there was someone who stuck out of the crowds. However, you couldn't match that description with any of the teens that you've interacted with.
"S-Stop this discrimination!" you suddenly heard, quite a distance away. You didn't recognize the voice, though. You mentally sighed. This person would be... the fifteenth, if I remember correctly. You kept on walking around aimlessly, giving no mind to the rushing footsteps that were slowly becoming louder as they came closer to you. Then you heard something—or someone—dash around to the corner you had just passed.
"Hm?" you hummed, tilting your head. You eyed the figure who just came in up and down. Instead of a person, there was a robot with their back up against the wall, even though they resembled a human, and they had their eyes closed. They had white hair and a cool technical body. Retracing your steps, you walked over to them.
"Uh, hi." You tapped the robot's forehead to see if he would respond. "Yoo hoo, you there?" You jumped back a bit whenever their eyes shot open.
"Oh, hello. You... aren't the person I was expecting to see, and that's for the better," they announced. The voice sounded like it would fit a male better than a female, but you weren't about to assume anything.
"Hey... are you.." you paused, thinking of how to phrase it. "Er... what's your gender? I'm just wondering, since you're a robot and all."
"Uh... I guess my inventor intended for me to be a male," he answered.
"Got it. Well, you can call me (Y/N). Before you ask, my talent is the Ultimate Holder, or the Ultimate Truth Holder to make things a bit more clear so I won't have to explain it."
"Alright. My name is K1-B0, or Kiibo, and I am the Ultimate Robot," Kiibo said. "Nice to meet you, (Y/N)!" He smiled and stuck out a hand.
"Um... what are you doing?" you asked.
"H-Huh!?" Kiibo all of a sudden got a look of pure terror. "I-Is this not what you humans do when you greet each other? You don't stick out your hands and shake them? I'm sorry!" He quickly looked away sheepishly.
"No, no, you're fine," you assured him. "It's just that.. I didn't see that coming. And, well, no one's ever offered their hand to me for me to shake." You took his cold metal and and shook it. Somehow, it felt like you were interacting with a real human. Out of nowhere, the sound of rushing footsteps appeared—and whoever was running was really quick.
"Uh oh! Sorry, but I must be going somewhere now—BYE!" Kiibo started to run away for what seemed like his life. Huh?? You were quite startled by the sudden action. You took a few steps away from the wall and to the middle of the hallway. Bad decision. Without warning, you felt yourself get ran over within the blink of an eye, you ending up on the ground. Whoever toppled you over got tangled up in your limbs, causing them to go down with you.
Upon realizing that your eyes had closed on instinct, you felt around to see what had happened. Your legs were trapped, and you felt heavy weight on your wrists to the point where you couldn't move them. You slowly and cautiously opened your eyes, finding that there was a boy on top of you, pinning you down by the limbs. He had purple hair that seemed to defy gravity, and you noticed that he was wearing a checkered scarf around his neck on top of a white outfit. You could only bring yourself to look at your captor's eyes once, and for the slightest second—they were deep, mysterious purple orbs, a darker shade than anyone else's that you've seen.
After looking at his eyes you quickly averted your gaze. Your heart had started to pound by now. A blush had crept onto your face, breaking your normally calm and cool composure. It truly confused you how a stranger could change your demeanor so much as this boy had in a matter of only a few split seconds.
"Nishishi~" the boy giggled. "And who do we have here?" His face was only a few inches away from yours. When you tried to speak a word, the only sounds that came out of your mouth were jumbles of different sounds and syllables; nothing understandable. "Aww, is someone flustered?" The red on your face deepened. "I know we haven't had a proper introduction yet, but... you look kind of cute, when you're in this position." D-D*mn it! He's right! You knew that you'd scold yourself for acting this way later, but at the moment you felt guilty enough for wanting to stay in that posture longer.
"But I am a liar~ ...Nishishi~ You like staying here, huh?" he asked teasingly, as if he read your mind.
"N-No," you stuttered quietly, glancing up at him. You felt your eyes betray you.
"Oh? What's this?" His tone changed entirely, going from a slightly low and teasing vibe into a slightly more high pitched, innocent and curious one. "Your eyes change color?! Woahhh!" He sat up, but still kept your legs pinned down with his. "That's so cooooool!" Stars formed in his eyes.
You felt the blush in your face calm down a bit. "T-Thanks," you muttered. Then, louder, you asked, "Uhm.. w-what's your name?"
The boy's expression changed from excited to... slightly not so excited. "Oh, yeah, that. Right. . ." A moment of silence passed between you all before you raised a brow at him. "Oh yeah!" He smiled widely. "I am Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader!" He got off of you and stuck out his hand for you. You shakily accepted and let him help you off the ground.
"I'm (Y/N) (L/N)," you said with a small smile.
"...Andddd...?"
"Huh?" You tilted your head.
"Your talent, dummy!" he said. Even though his tone was playful, you couldn't help but to feel a little bit hurt when he called you a 'dummy'. Why..? You brushed off the thought. "What is it?"
"It doesn't matter that much right now," you offered humbly. "And, uh... Ultimate Supreme Leader?"
Kokichi nodded enthusiastically. "Yep! My secret organization has over 10,000 members in it!" Then he shot you a look, putting his finger up to his mouth. "Or, maybe it doesn't. Who knows? Like I've said, I am a liar after all~" You immediately knew something was up. I'll have to look into that later, you thought. A moment of silence passed.
Kokichi slowly brushed himself off. "Welp, I guess that's it. I'll be going now, I have a robot to chase!" He said that with stars in his eyes, yet again. He started to run off. You then remember something you wanted to ask about.
"Hey, wait!" The purple-haired boy stopped and turned back at you, head tilted. "You said you're a liar... so does that mean..." You were quite embarrassed at what was about to come out of your mouth. "...you were lying about me being cute?" No one has ever called you that. If this boy were to joke and lie about it then it was going to hurt.
Kokichi held a blank expression on his face. "Liars don't have to lie all the time." With that, he turned the other way again and started running.
