(Adam would have his name changed to avoid confusion with the lord of Sheffield.)

Walking is not Victoria's hobby. In the 500 hectares of the land, they're still at the middle. Victoria pants with sweat dripping from her forehead. While Adam was rereading all the lists of clues regarding the found letters.

One: they're were childhood friends...

He found another envelope under the matress a while ago while waiting for Victoria. There were words written on it. To complete the quest, find the solution for seven days...

Victoria wobbled and squated on the ground. Inhaling and exhaling the natural oxygen, she got exhausted from the walk. Realizing that she walked too fast, she turned around to see Adam walking after her, just chilling. She groaned and faced back to the gate nearby.

"Tired, beautiful?"

Her eyes went wide. He said that! She could feel her warm cheeks and flushed. Redness has scattered around her face like been drunk from the coconut wine. Victoria covered her face with two of her bare hands.

"Are you okay?" Adam was alarmed. Is she okay? Was she annoyed of his new nickname for her? He dropped himself down beside her. His hand rubbed slowly behind her back, comforting without any idea of what was going on.

Goosebumps. The hairs on her skin started to stand up when feeling the comforting hand of Adam on her back. She straighten herself and took a glance at him.

"Are you alright?" He asked softly, raising his eyebrows in a question. Comfort. Most men nowadays used comfort with flirt. Also known as 'ComFlirt'. But his gestures weren't fake, it's sincere.

"I'm alright." She could feel the breeze against them. It's cold but wondering why Adam didn't feel any chills. He got his notebook and read the number two.

Two: Her nickname was Beauty.

Victoria laid her eyes on the notebook. "Beauty. So what's her real name?"

"No name... Still Anonymous."

An envelope was dropped from the pages of the notebook. Victoria noticed and took it. She opened the envelope and revealed an emerald locket. She fiddled it with her fingers as it sparkles through the sunlight. But it wasn't a normal sparkle she was expecting.

It grew up with much light. "ADAM! WHAT HAPPENED!" she shouted, closing her eyes to protect them from the light.

"VIC! I DON'T KNOW! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He shouted back.

They heard a loud roar, violent cries, and massive shrills. Then everything went silent, they both felt the gentle breeze hitting against their bodies. Victoria was the first who opened her eyes, an awe ran across her face.

1843. They're in Lord Adam's Manor garden. They're standing on the lush green grass with red poppies.

Adam realized that he wasn't holding his notebook anymore. His eyes scanned their clothes, they're wearing lower class dressing code. Victoria flung her arms on the air and twirled. While Adam was fascinated by the magnificent manor house nearby. "Victoria." He called her, stopping her from twirling.

"Hmm." She stopped and walked towards him.

"Where's the locket?"

Victoria slipped her hands on the pockets of her apron. Her eyes went wide and shooked her head. "I think we need to find it somewhere in that Manor."

"Victoria! We aren't in 2000s anymore!" He raised his tone.

"I know!" She yelled back, frustration was boiling in her veins. The locket was lost after they time travelled back to Victorian Period.

"That's your fault why you-"

"BUT IT WAS YOUR FAULT WHY YOU DECIDED TO RESEARCH YOUR GRANDFATHER'S PAST!" She yelled in anger, kicking the stone with her foot. The stone was tossed over the ground. Adam stared at her, the grumpy redhead with a snob of her face was stomping the ground.

He was giggling. His lips were tugged up into a smile. "You're cute when being angry."

But Victoria barked. "WHAT? YOU BLAME ME FOR LOSING THE LOCKET! YOU DIDN'T KNOW THERE'S A LOCKET IN THE LETTER!"

The lot of the estate was huge as fifty thousand square meters. Each side was built with high bush fences with a massive gate for the entrance. The Manor has some bricked walls with vines crawling on it. The garden was filled with man-made pine trees and other sorts of plants.

Now they're in the middle of the lawn. "When we will go back?" Victoria now calmly asked Adam. Adam went over the tree and leaned against the trunk. "After we finish the quest."

"For how many days?"

"Seven days to complete the quest." Adam crossed his arms on his chest. "The quest was to find the solution-finding these couple a way back together."

"By how?" Victoria sat down on the grassy ground and stretches her tired legs. Her red hair was neatly turned into a bun with few strands falling on her face.

"I have an idea. You must work at Miss Beauty's house and I will work in Adam's Manor."

"And how about your name?" She tilted her head upward to see him. "You must change it."

He dropped himself on the ground, sitting next to her. "Lexander. That's my middle name."

"Cool huh!" She drew her knees closer to her chest. "I like your name... It looks you're something like a rich man owning a business company."

He chuckled. "Mom loves fantasizing about rich men and that's why she wanted me to take the Business course."

"Wow... So Lexander, how can I get out of this place?"

Adam (or Lexander as his second name) faced her with a smile. Victoria was confused. What was he planning to? Run and hide over the tree?

"I have a plan." He got up from his feet. Brushing off his pants, he straighten himself. "Listen. We'll be separating each other and on Friday, we have to meet each other in the town center."

"By how? What if Miss Beauty's house was in the another town? I have to travel a few miles with my feet?"

"Or maybe I will go with something. Just wait until Friday." He stretches his hand. "Here, get up beautiful."

"Are you joking?"

Victoria grabbed his hand, helping herself to stand up. She tapped her skirt, flattening the crumbled cloth.

"I'm not." Lexander held his waist with his hands. He turned around and saw the bush fence nearby. "Why can we just climb up on that fence."

"I'm not sure if this would work."

He grabbed her hand, locking it with his fingers and dragged her to the fence. No one was watching. "You need to step on my shoulder and I will carry you. You must hold these leaves or braches."

Lexander knelt down while holding her hand. Victoria stepped her foot on his right shoulder and the other did the same. She gripped the fence with her fists. Lexander slowly stood up with her weight on his shoulders

She climbed up on the fence and turned over to the other side. Her butt got hit on the ground, creating a slight thrashing sounds. "Are you okay?" Lexander asked, leaning his ear on the fence.

"I'm alright!" Victoria yelled back, brushing her knees. There's a mild wound on her elbow. "Oh dear." She ripped off her sleeve and bandaged the fresh cut.

"Just remember what I've said!" He turns his head side to side, checking if there's someone walking around the garden. Then he sighed. "I hope it works."

Lexander walked to the manor and went at the back. He saw a small counter house with a group of maids gossiping. One of them discerned that he was there and hushed the others to keep quiet. She had brown hair with sweet blue eyes. She might be somewhere in twenties.

"Hello sir, what do you want?" She came towards him with a flirty approach. Lexander was not impressed with her attitude. When he was about to respond, a Head maid interrupted.

"Oh young lad! What we can do for you?" She's somewhere in forties. "I'm Jacqueline, the head mistress of the Manor."

"I'm Lexander... Edwards." He used Henry's surname. His hands began to numb with chills inside his veins. He thought that he might not get any job in the Manor. "I need to work."

Jacqueline examined his looks. He had tall height that's somewhere about 6'1 feet. Blond hair and blue eyes with toned body built. "Well, my lord is hiring someone to guard him. You can be accepted if you present yourself to him."

Jacqueline elbowed him to the Manor through the Servants' Court, leading him to the small room. "You should wear those guard's clothing." She held the door open and paves the way. Lexander examined the room, small but homely.

"Thank you, Mrs Jacqueline." He thanked her after giving him the clothing. Jacqueline was smiling blissfully.

"I have to go, man just go to the servant's court if you're done." She went out in a hurry. Lexander looked at the clothes, thinking. He couldn't believe that he would be his grandfather's bodyguard.

There's a vast land over the town, cultivated with crops of corn and potatoes. She walked alone through the dusty road. Her legs were tired from the long walk and the freshly cut continues to bleed and gives a slight pain. She moaned, gritting her teeth.

She wrapped herself with her arms. Hearing some galloping noises, she turned around and saw a man on his horse with the wagon. He stopped by, looking at her. "M'lady, where are you going?"

"To... Miss Beauty."

"Pardon me, I didn't know who you are talking about yet you can look for her in the town center." He mounts from his horse and walked towards the wagon. Victoria followed him. "I think you can sit or sleep for a while."

She climbed over the wagon, there's a mountain of hay and two large barrels of water. "If you're thirsty, you can drink water in those barrels." The man points at the barrels and climbed up on his horse. "Where are you from?"

Victoria was hesitated, she didn't know what to say. "From Manchester." She decided to lie, thinking what he wants to ask next. She kneeled while holding the wooden railings. He rode too fast.

"I'm Frank." He said. "I'm going to Sheffield town center."

"Oh okay. For you." She began to ask. "How do you describe Lord Adam?"

"Adam was such a good man. Chivalrous, family-centered, and noble hearted." He stole glances at her. "He's also handsome."

Victoria nodded at his description of Adam. "Who are his parents?"

"Oh good Lord! We felt happy when his father passed away." He sighed. "His father, George was not good at either politics or dukedom. He's such an arrogant man."

"His mother, Lady Diana was sick at that time while he was busy womanizing with other noblewomen. Adam was hidden under his nanny's care while his parents were catched up in separating terms."

"Oh dear, how poor he is!"

"Yes... His nanny was my eldest sister, Jacqueline."

"Really!" Victoria might think that Lexander would meet Jacqueline at the Manor. "Are there any disputes between them? The Earldons?"

"Yes... The Knights. They're from Derby."

Victoria was shocked. The Knights and Earldons were rivals this time. Like Montagues and Capulets, they have feuds that started just a few years ago.
"What happened?"

"To start from the beginning, they're good friends with the Knights until the Count Dowager Lalia Knight, the mother of Duke of Derby forced her favorite granddaughter Vivorie to marry Adam whilst his parents didn't approve the request."

Victoria was wondering why her grandmother Vine accepted Lexander into her Manor. Did Granny Vine did this to stop the feud? Or was she pretend to be happy even she's not?

What will happen next? Like Romeo and Juliet whose deaths brought reconciliation between their families. She thinks that death isn't a good solution to this horrible problem.

"Let's fix this solution." She hissed, telling herself with courage. She gazed around and realized that they're in the town center.

This is the start...
