Tragedy and the Comforter
(3rd Person)
Kazuto took the key from under the door mat and unlocked the door. The atmosphere felt eery, which made Kazuto cringe.
He slowly opened the door, making it creek. This caught Shino's attention and lifted her head to look at Kazuto peek through the door.
"Shino," Kazuto murmured. Shino's eyes were puffy and she was in her PJ's. She didn't acknowledge him and layed her head down once again, resting her sore eyes.
"Shino what's wrong?" Kazuto asked, sitting at the edge of her bed. She didn't reply.
Kazuto sighed and moved her hair from her face. He noticed the tear stains on her cheeks and stood up.

(Shino Asada)
Kazuto sat at the edge of my bed and asked me what was wrong. I didn't want to talk. I was just tired of everything.
He moved my hair from my face, moving it to one side. I could just feel his eyes watch me. It almost made me want to look back at him.
I felt him stand up and strangely enough rummage through my things. After that I heard the sink turn on, now hearing running water. Just as I was about to peek what he was up to, he sat back down next to me.
"You should've washed you face after crying," Kazuto whispered, now rubbing my cheeks with a wet towel, then my sore eye lids, my forehead, everywhere really.
I hated to admit it, but I loved this. I felt more at ease, it felt relaxing and calming. After he did that I felt him lift my bangs with his hand and kiss my forehead.
I opened my eyes and caught a glimpse in his brown eyes staring back at my sore gray ones.
"Shino, what happened?" Kazuto questioned. I didn't have any tears left. If I did, I would probably be bawling my eyes out.
"I don't want to go to date night tonight," I murmured.
"Why not?" Kazuto questioned further.
"I feel ill," I replied. He placed his hand on my forehead and my cheeks.
"Alright," he took a chair and sat next to my bed.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'll be here until you feel better," he reassured. I groan.
"I'll be fine Kazuto, go to date night," I insisted. This made him frown.
"But you're my date. Everyone already has a date," he protested.
"I'm sure someone will fill my place," I murmured.
"But I don't want that," Kazuto refuted.
"I'll be fine," I reassured.
"Consider me your nurse until you feel better," he declared, now putting on a apron I had lying around.
This almost caused my to slightly laugh. He sure makes it hard to stay mad at him, and he looks pretty cute In a apron. I sigh, acknowledging my defeat, I lay my head on my pillow and closed my eyes.
"Do as you wish," I replied. I heard Kazuto run around my apartment and he got the towel more wet and put them over my eyes. I felt him hold my hand.
"Whatever happened, know I'm here to keep you from falling apart," he whispered.
Why do you always have to save me?
