(Sinon's POV)

"Kirito!" I shouted. The attack was heading straight at his back. On impulse I already had a arrow ready and launched it.

The arrow went threw the attack and met its mark, piercing Ken in the chest.

"Kirito," I slid on my knees before his head could hit the floor. His head landed in my lap.

I gazed at his HP and it kept going down. Please stop at 1, please stop at 1. It did, and I sighed in relief.

"Hey, I told you I'd be okay," he grinned. I frowned. He must be in pain.

A roar escaped Ken's lips, and Sapphire pixels started to escape from the wound, scattering. His HP was at 1HP as well. He then gave me a sharp glare. I had my how and arrow ready.

He hugged and charged to me, leaped and was about to slam his sword down in a vertical slash before I shot another arrow, aimed at his heart. He dropped to the floor in front of us, before he dispersed into pixels.

"He's dead," I muttered, putting down my bow, and looked down at Kirito in my lap. He had a sad frown.

"Yeah," he murmured.

"I'll be okay," I reassured. We heard footsteps race towards us.

"Sinon, Kirito!" I heard Klein's voice. We looked at the direction and saw our friends rush to us.

"Sorry, it took a while to break that door," Silica pouted.

"How did you find us?" Kirito questioned.

"Are you kidding? We saw a bright flash of blue aura come from here," Lisbeth responded.

"So, what happened?" Asuna frowned.

"He's gone," I responded. Their eyes widened.

"Leave it to Kirito and Sinon to take down a boss on their own," Klein teased, cashing Kirito to chuckle, soon the laughter became infectious.

The laughter died down gradually.

"So we could go home?" Silica asked hopefully. Klein rubber the top if her head. He sure was like a big brother.

"You know it, kiddo," he grinned and she cheered. The group pulled out their player screens. Although I didn't.

"You coming?" Asuna questioned. I shook my head with a smile.

"Huh? I'll log out in a sec," I murmured.

"Oh, alright, see you on the other side," Klein grinned, saluting me before he logged out, followed by a waving Silica and Lisbeth.

"See ya," Asuna smiled before logging out. Kirito was still there.

"What's up?" Kirito was weak at the moment so we stayed on the floor. I look down at him, with his head in my lap, playing with his jet black hair.

"We did it," my voice trembled. He smiled and held my hand that was now on his cheek.

"I had no doubt," he mumbled. I leaned down and pressed my lips on his, despite our position, excited to feel his lips again.

"Papa!" I heard echo in the room. No way.

"Yui?" Kirito's eyes were wide as he sat up. We say a small frame come from the shadows and leap into Kirito's arms.

"Yui!" We both responded simultaneously. She giggled and pulled me into the hug.

"How?" I murmured.

"You defeated Ken! No longer did the log out button work, but it brought my body back! Like I expected! He couldn't completely delete me. He just stored the data away," Yui explained. Although I didn't care much about the details. Just that she was here.

"Let me heal you right up," Yui chimed. She placed her hands on his cheeks and murmured a enchantment and her hands began to glow, and his HP went back up.

Tears formed in our eyes. A mixture of relief and happiness.

"Now papa can go home," Yui cheered. We laughed.

"I'll come back very very soon," he murmured before he kissed her forehead sweetly. We both stood and Yui looked at me with happy eyes.

"See you Sinononon, and..." Yui paused and rushed towards me, wrapping her small arms around me.

"Thank you for keeping my papa safe," she mumbled. This caused Kirito to blush. I giggled.

"We kept each other safe," I rubbed the top of her head. She looked up at me and I leaned over and brushed her bangs aside and applied a sweet kiss on her forehead causing her to giggle.

"You're my very best friend," she replied shyly.

"You're my best friend too," I replied with a smile. Kirito and I look to each other and nodded.

"I'll come and find you," he held my hand.

"I know you will," I smiled. Before we logged out.
