Our Secret, Special Place
(Kirito's POV)
We were at the doorstep of the home. I dreaded to open that doorknob.
Fear of what Hikari's errand was. Guilt of how I responded to Sinon before I left.
"You going to open it or what?" Silica questioned.
"Yeah," I murmured, taking the doorknob in my hand, and turning it, opening the door.
The living room was empty and quiet.
"Sinon?" I called out but I didn't hear a reply. Panicked by my horrible thoughts, I called out to her again.
"Shino," I called out again. I walked into our room and sighed in relief when I saw her sitting up in bed, blanket over her head.
"I hope so," she mumbled. Strangely, was she talking to herself?
"He's here?" She sounded alarm and peeked out from the blanket.
"You're home," she sounded relieved, yet troubled.
"Yeah, I'm home," I closed the door and neared her. She was mumbling something under her breath.
"What was that?" I questioned.
"Nothing," she dismissed. She was acting odd.

(Sinon's POV)
I was under my blanket talking to Yui.
"I'm worried, its late, and it's dark outside. I hope they're okay," I mumbled to her. I knew I couldn't see her but I know she was sitting in bed with me.
"Have faith," she reassured. We stayed silent for a while until she spoke again.
"Are you and papa going to make up?" She mumbled.
"I hope so," I mumbled.
"Sinonononon, papa's here," she said loudly. I was about to shush her but remembered no one could hear her.
"He's here?" I panicked. I'm not ready. I haven't thought how I should apologize to him. I peeked my head out from under the blanket and sure enough he was standing at the door. I guess they got home alright.
"You're home?" I questioned.
"Yeah I'm home," he replied, closing the door behind him. I panicked. Just in case, I decided to tell Yui to leave for a moment.
"I'll talk to you later okay?" I mumbled under my breath.
"Okay, I'm going. But don't forget to tell him," Yui scolded.
"Okay," I hushed.
"What was that?" Kirito questioned in confusion, tilting his head.
"Nothing," I dismissed.
"Oh," he mumbled. The room was silent. I guess I should apologize now.
"I'm sorry," he said, now sitting on the bed next to me.
"You're sorry?" I asked, in disbelief. He beat me to it.
"I shouldn't have said all those things. You were right, it was a trap," he admitted. He sigh and rubbed the back of his neck.
"No, I was wrong too. Hikari showed up at the house," I murmured. His eyes widened and held my shoulders.
"You alright?" He asked, worrisome.
"I'm fine," I reassured with a small grin on my lips.
"So that's the errand he was talking about," he mumbled.
"She said Ken told her to bring me to him, alive, but she wanted to kill me herself," I mumbled.
"Did you?" He asked, not finishing his question. Although I knew what he was about to ask. I frowned and nodded.
"I don't think she gave me a choice," I replied. I tried not to get too emotional and tried to change the topic.
"I have some exciting news for you," I held his hand and couldn't help but smile.
"What is it?" He grinned back.
"Yui's alive," I declared. He sighed.
"No, Sinon, she isn't," he responded.
"No, she's alive," I persisted.
"I saw her die," he replied grimly.
"That was just her body. Her conscious mind is still alive. And technically she can't die. She's data. She can be deleted, but not entirely," I explained. He looked at me with concerned eyes. I was afraid of this. I tried telling Yui.
"Maybe your just stressed or something," he said.
"No, no, she alive. She helped me. If it wasn't for her, Hikari would've killed me," I insisted. But I knew I sounded crazier and crazier by the second. How sweet, I think he still loves me anyway.
"Maybe you should rest," he rubbed my arm. I found this amusing. When I was younger I always thought I'd go crazy, like my mom. Turns out I didn't go crazy after all, but my boyfriend thinks otherwise.
"I'm not crazy," I reassured. He chuckled.
"I know you're not," he cooed, pulling me into a hug. I pouted. Silence filled the room until he broke it.
"I think I know just the place to get you to relax," he grinned.
"You seriously want to go out there? Ken's still out there, isn't he?" I ridiculed.
"Probably," he grinned.
"And you want to go out there?" I asked again. He nodded.
"You may be smart but thars a dumb idea," I crossed my arms. He simply smiled.
"Trust me. He doesn't know about this place," he reassured.
"Oh like he didn't know about our secret place hidden in that cave?" I questioned.
"He knew about it because he stalked us when we were dating. But I highly doubt he knows about this special place,"
"How many special places do you have?" I teased. He see to be mulling it over in his mind.
"Many, and I'd like to show you, and only you, each and every one of them," he smiled at me intently.
"But for now, I'll show you just one, that will surely calm you down," he stood up from bed and held out his hand to me. I took it and he lifted me up.
"Okay. But I'm serious. Yui's alive," I persisted. He sighed and faced me.
"If you can say that after we get there, and calm you down, then, I'll believe you," he responded.
"Really?" I questioned.
"Really," he reassured. Although I had doubts.
He led me out if the room and into the living room where everyone was at.
"We're going out," Kirito announced, causing everyone to worry.
"But what about Ken?" Asuna questioned.
"We'll deal with him later," he said before he led me out the door, with everyone staring in awe.

We walked for a bit, and he led me to the mountain that was just behind the home.
"A mountain, very soothing," I said sarcastically. He simply shook his head.
He activated his wings.
"We got to go up," he pointed with his finger, now flying upward the mountain. Quickly I activate my wings and follow him, and landed where he did. We weren't at the top though.
"Here," he pointed at a hole against the mountain wall.
"The hole is supposed to sooth me?" I asked.
"Just follow," he got on his knees and crawled into the hole. What possibly could be in there?
I crawled after him until I saw the end if the hole. This was a tunnel.
"Check it out," he helped me up and I took a look. It was a big body of water in the middle of the mountain, and the mountain was hollowed, so we could see the full silver moon in the starry sky.
"This isn't a volcano, is it?" I asked cautiously. He chuckled.
"No. Its a hot springs," he said excitingly unequipping his shirt, storing it in his inventory. My face immediately became flushed and I averted my eyes. Soon I heard a splash.
I take a look at him and he was already in the warm steaming water. It was sure warm in here. Outside it was freezing.
"Come on in," he swam towards me, at the edge of the hot spring.
"But my clothes," I replied nervously.
"I won't look, promise," he covered his eyes and tuned his back towards me and started to hum. This caused me to laugh.
"Not looking," he sang. I unequipped my clothes off, one by one until I was just in my under garments. I took a leap of faith and made a splash in the hot springs, splashing him in the process.
"Feels good, doesn't it?" He murmured, closing his eyes, tucking his wet hair behind his ear and out if his face.
"Mmhmm," I replied, my eyes closed.

(Kirito's POV)
There was a long silence between us. It wasn't uncomfortable though.
I remember coming here, alone when no one had the time to hang out in ALO. It felt nice to share this with someone. Especially Sinon.
I opened my eyes turned to her, and noticed her eyes closed. I blushed at the scene.
I had a girl with water up to her shoulders, revealing her bare milky white skin. Must be soft.
I blushed even further and mentally slap myself. I felt my heart pounding faster and faster. It wouldn't shock me if my heart popped out of my chest, immediately dropping my HP to zero. Killing me.
My heart kept beating faster, I audibly heard it, like a beat of a drum, increasing its speed with each beat.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
My heart raced. I honestly didn't think of this when I decided to bring her up here. I simply thought I should take her here to relax. Maybe my unconscious mind was scheming something else.
Immediately I look to the sky. Trying to avert my eyes away from Sinon. And although the sky was virtual, it was breathtaking. But not as breathtaking as Sinon was. Wow, that was cheesy. But it was true...
"Its gorgeous, isn't it?" Sinon mumbled. I look towards her as she looked up at the same sky, at the same stars.
"Can't believe they're merely pixels," Sinon added, glancing at me and then back at the sky.
"Looks like the real thing, doesn't it?" I replied, awed by the sky's beauty.
"So beautiful," I muttered, but I was no longer staring at the sky, but at her, at her delicate frame, her milky skin, the way the stars made her eyes glisten. But she didn't notice me glancing at her. Her eyes were glued to the night sky.
"Very beautiful," she agreed, marveling the stars and the moon.
"I was talking about you," I responded sheepishly, averting my eyes from her to the sky.
Although our feelings for each other were absolutely clear, I still feared her response. I still had those jitters. The way she made me feel, it was uncontrollable.
I wasn't lying when I told her I felt the most comfortable with her. I did. But moments like this, makes my heart go nuts. Makes my cheeks flush. Makes the hair behind my neck stand up. And turns my mind to mush.
That's probably why I didn't think too much about the dangers of coming here, with Ken out there. I was so determined to make her feel better. Its always been my priority, now that I think about it.
"Oh," her voice brought me back to reality. I turned to her and see she was flushed all the way down to her neck, and to her shoulders, since I couldn't see past her shoulders. I chuckled under my breath, because I've never seen her so her so flushed before.
"Thanks," she replied shyly. Despite her blush, she had a small smile.
She pinched her nose, and dove into the water, and came out.
"That felt good," she laughed, brushing the hair covering her eyes back. I dove under the water as well, and swam underwater until I was directly in front of her, and popped out of the water, slightly splashing her.
I could see she was pleasantly surprised, and sheepishly smiled. With all the courage I mustered, I neared her, aiming for her lips, and she followed my lead. Until my lips touches hers, my heart began to explode with the rapid beating.
I placed the back of my hand behind her neck, bringing her closer, deeper into the kiss.
The other hand wondered on her shoulder and slid down her arms. I was right, very soft.
Strangely enough I felt her tail brush my back, giving me goosebumps, as her hands were on my chest, feeling her delicate fingers glide on my bare skin, and her hands found its place around my neck.
I felt her so close, and didn't want to let go. Or have this moment end anytime soon. So we decided not to.
Were were against the mountain wall, still in the warm hot springs, and it drove me crazy that I had her so close. As if she knew my thoughts, and wanted to make me drive me crazier, I felt her legs lock around my torso.
Her back against the wall, my hand left her arm and slid down, finding its place at her waist. My other hand was still behind her neck, and now slid against her back.
I felt something moist part my lips. I was so surprised, she learned so quickly. Not wanting this night to end, we stayed. For as long as we liked. Under this night sky.

Authors note: Surprise!
Wow this took a while to write. Well actually not really (^.^)
Despite it being one of my longest chapters xD
So what did ya think? ( ̄^ ̄;)
Actually I got the hole tunnel idea from the game Zelda xD I remember there was a hole you'd crawl threw that was like a little tunnel that led somewhere else.
Anywhooo
I decided to write a romantic chapter. Since most of the recent chapters so far was filled with action.
I guess this is a different type of action ( TvT )/ hehehe
As I said before, I don't write lemons or smut but I decided to write the best I could. And the ending of this scene, you ask? Well... You decide I guess ╮(T▽T;)╭
🌈 Imagination🌈
More to come!
Man I type too much...
Until Next Time!
