Closet Comfort
(3rd Person)
"How do you think Kirito is doing? You think it's not a big deal?" Sinon asked Klein. They were walking around the area, not knowing they were being followed.
"I don't know. Asuna means a lot to Kirito. By the way we saw Asuna, she looked like she had bad news," Klein replied. Sinon nodded in response. They walked in silence, which was driving Klein crazy.
"So Sinon," Klein started.
"Yeah?" Sinon asked curiously at Klein's sudden outburst.
"Do you still like Kirito?"Klein asked awkwardly. There was some silence.
"... Yes," Sinon whispered, not denying the fact.
"Oh, I thought so," Klein replied hopelessly.
"But what you said earlier is right," Sinon added.
"Really?" Klein chimed.
"Yeah, even if things don't work out for Asuna and Kirito, I won't stand much of a chance. I shouldn't be hung up on someone that still loves someone else," Sinon sighed, smiling weakly.
"That's the spirit." Klein cheered giddily.
"I should move on," Sinon added.
"Yup." Klein agreed.
"I wonder if that guy from my apartment build is available," Sinon asked out loud, tapping her chin in thought, causing Klein's head to hang in disappointment.
"I'm just messing with you," Sinon smiled, causing Klein to lifted his head up slightly.
"Oh, I knew that!" Klein laughed. Sinon shook her head.
"Hey blue, red!" Lizbeth called behind them, with the group following.
"You got to ruin everything, don't you?" Klein growled. Lizbeth glared back, with poor Sinon in the middle.
"What were you two talking about?" Lizbeth raised an eyebrow. Klein wrapped his arm around Sinon's shoulders.
"Giving her romantic advice," Klein said coolly.
"Oh really?" Silica giggled, her eyes darting back and forth between the two.
"You both seem to be sticking together like glue lately. Care to explain?" Lizbeth questioned with a sly smirk taking over her lips.
"We're just becoming better friends, that's all," Sinon replied simply.
"Hmmm. Okay I believe you," Lizbeth added, now bursting into a small laughing fit.
"Whats so funny?" Klein glared.
"That I ever thought Sinon was interested in you," Lizbeth giggled, causing Klein's face to redden with anger and embarrassment.
"I think we should head back," Sinon mumbled awkwardly, in between the two.

The group entered the door to find Kirito on the couch and Yui on his lap, trying to bury herself in his chest.
"Hey," Kirito greeted, with a small hand wave.
"How did it go? Everything okay?" Leafa asked. Kirito sighed and looked down at Yui. Yui turned to the group with tearful eyes.
"Momma left papa," Yui cried. Kirito lowered his gaze from the group.
"Why don't we get you to bed Yui, its pretty late," Leafa suggested, holding her hand out to her. She sniffed and got up from her papa's lap and held her hand, leading her to her bedroom.
"Still up for a sleepover?" Kirito asked dully, swiftly wiping the tears under his eyes that managed to escape.
"Heck yeah!" Lizbeth cheered to lighten the mood.
"And I know just what to play," she added with a mischievous smile, tapping her fingertips together.
***************************
"Seven minutes in heaven?" They all replied grimly. Since the ratio was mostly girls, this terrified them.
"Don't worry, since there's at least one guy in the group-" Lizbeth was cut off.
"Hey!" Klein replied offensively.
"We'll start with Kirito! Now in this hat we have the names of each and every one of us girls. Whichever name Kirito picks, gets to spend seven minutes in heaven with!" Lizbeth announced, sounding too excited.
"Let me check the hat," Silica held out her hand.
"Why?" Lizbeth spat.
"Let us check the hat Liz," Leafa added.
"Why?" Lizbeth now pouted. Silica took the hat and took out the pieces of paper with names written on them. They all had Lizbeth written on them.
Most of them glared, some raised their eyebrows.
"Really?" They all asked simultaneously.
"Fine, I'll play fair!" Lizbeth exclaimed, fairly putting each of their names in the hat.
"Pick," Lizbeth handed the hat.
Lizbeth twirled her hair anxiously. Leafa watched intently and Silica was blushing madly. Sinon coolly leaned against the wall with her arms folded, which Klein followed her lead.
Kirito sighed exhaustedly and pulled out a piece of paper and opened it, taking a look at the name.
"Before you announce who you picked, just to let you know on the rules!" Lizbeth added.
"Rules you just made up," Leafa murmured.
"You can't go back, you have to go in with that person," she finished, now face flushed. Klein scoffed which Lizbeth glared at him for that.
"You sure about that?" Kirito asked, raising a brow.
"Why, who'd you pick?" Lizbeth asked frantically.
"Probably not you," Klein laughed. Kirito revealed the paper to them, with the name Sinon scribbled on it.
"Sinon," he whispered, a small blush forming on his cheeks, embarrassed.
"Sinon?" Everyone cried, mostly Klein.
"What?" Sinon asked, not paying attention, being snapped out of her daydream, with a clueless expression on her face.
"You won yourself seven minutes in heaven with Kirito." Silica grumbled.
"I never would've thought," Lizbeth cried. Leafa just quietly folded hr arms.
"You know, that whole rule was dumb anyway, you don't have to if you don't wanna," Klein laughed nervously.
"Rules are rules," Silica sadly added, and Lizbeth nodded sadly. It was girl code.
"Really Lizbeth? Now you're not gonna be stubborn for onc" Klein complained.
"Go," Lizbeth motioned to the closet. Sinon was still in a state of shock.
"Go," Leafa nudged Sinon and Kirito closer to the closet. Lizbeth tearfully shoved them inside.
"No coming in until the seven minutes are over!" She cried. They quietly sobbed, except for Klein, who made a big fuss.
"Remember Sinon, you can always say no!" Klein yelled through the door.
"No means no Kirito! No means no!" He finished before the girls dragged him away from the closet door.

(Sinon)
I didn't actually think I had a chance, I frantically thought as I was being pushed into the closet.
I was planning to get over Kirito not make out with the guy, I blushed at the thought.
We can always talk. Yeah, talk throughout the seven minutes. I doubt Kirito is gonna do anything, especially with me. After the whole break up, he wouldn't. He couldn't, I tried to convince myself.
It was dark now that they shut the door. The seven minutes begins.
***************************
(Kirito)
When I first took the paper out of the hat, I was nervous.
I was afraid of who I would pick, but by looking at their intense stares, it felt like I didn't have a say in the matter. If I would've picked Lizbeth, she probably wouldn't let me out of the closet. If I picked Leafa, yeah I would run. And Silica is cute and all but she's way too young to imagine her any other way than a little sister. But Sinon, it didn't cross my mind. Probably because I wasn't worried or scared of her.
Compared to the others, she seems cool and calm most of the time. At least when I wasn't messing with her. This shouldn't be a problem. Sinon's always been understanding. If anything, I'm pretty sure she'd like to talk.

"So the seven minutes begin," Kirito said, laughing awkwardly.
"Yeah," Sinon mumbled, and soon silence followed, the two busy with their thoughts until one decided to speak.
"You okay Kirito? I know it must've been rough on you," Sinon brought up, making Kirito stiff.
"I'd rather not talk about it right now," Kirito replied coldly, caught off guard.
"You can talk to me," Sinon reassured, now scooting to sit closer to him.
"You wouldn't understand how I feel anyway," Kirito replied, avoiding her gaze. Sinon reluctantly placed her head on his shoulder and sighed, catching him by surprise. Catching herself by surprise as well.
"You're right, I haven't been in that situation. I don't understand, but I'd like to, if you just told me," Sinon murmured. Kirito just lowered his head and his eyes began to tear up, he quickly wiped them away.
"I may not know how it feels to lose someone I was in a relationship with, but I know how it's like to lose someone I never had," Sinon said. Kirito gave a questioning look, Sinon could feel it.
"I lost someone I could never have. Not having a chance to know how it felt like to even be in a relationship with him. That was the most painful part. Because he understood me the most, because he was the one to be able to contain me, to comfort me. I wanted so badly to cry on his shoulder, but it was already taken. You don't know how painful that is, being convinced you don't deserve this person," She began to tear up.
"I don't," Kirito replied.
"So don't you be pathetic, and fall into self-pity," Sinon lifted her head and looked at him with misty eyes. He stared at her and noticed she gently smiled at him.
Its you, Kirito, Sinon thought.
He gently wiped away her tears. Their gaze didn't waver. Sinon smiled in response to Kirito's grin.
"I'm better now," Kirito sighed. Sinon raised an eyebrow.
"Oh you are?" Sinon asked.
"Yes," Kirito replied simply.
"And why is that?" Sinon asked, amused.
"Because I have someone to help me put my heart back together. I'm not alone in this. Right?" Kirito replied, tears threatening to escape. Sinon wiped them away and nodded.
"And now you have someone to help put yours back together too," Kirito reassured. Kirito suddenly placed his head on her lap, to her surprise. He closed his eyes and kept a smile on his face.
Sinon's tail tickled his face, causing him to laugh. He opened his eyes and looked at her with a smirk and raised an eyebrow.
"It has a mind of its own," Sinon excused.
"Uh-huh," Kirito replied, closing his eyes again.
Sinon rubbed her hands in his jet black hair. She moved strands of hair that were in his face.
"Do they have a mind of their own too?" Kirito teased.
"When I let them," she replied, still caressing his hair.
"Hey, Sinon,"
"Yeah?"
"Who was this guy you were talking about?"
"A friend,"
"Why don't you tell him how you feel?"
"Maybe when I'm ready. If he's ready. When its the right time,"
"Is he ready?"
"Probably not,"
Kirito sat up and stared at her until the moment was interrupted.
"Seven minutes are up!" Klein cheered from the other side of the door. Kirito quickly locked the door before Klein opened it. Sinon's eyes widened.
What's Kirito doing? Sinon thought, blushing. Kirito turned to her and smiled, putting his finger in front of his lips playfully.
"Let's mess with them a little, shall we?" he whispered. Sinon giggled and nodded.
"Klein, what's the hold-up, open the door!" Lizbeth nagged.
"It's locked!" Klein nagged back.
"What do you mean it's locked?" Lizbeth exclaimed, turning the knob.
"See its locked," Klein whined.
"I didn't even know it can lock from the inside," Leafa said.
"Hey Kirito? The seven minutes are up," Silica murmured through the door.
"Sinon?" They called through the door. Sinon and Kirito tried to contain their laughter.
"What do you think they're doing?" Lizbeth asked grimly. Kirito whispered in Sinon's ear and she agreed. Kirito quickly unlocked the door.
"That's it, I'm going in," Lizbeth declared, opening the door, to her surprise, finding Kirito pinning Sinon to the wall, his head buried in her neck, and Sinon blushing madly.
"Kirito!" Lizbeth exclaimed. Leafa gasped, covering Silica's eyes. Klein mouth gaped open.
"Sinonon!" Klein exclaimed, grasping his hair is desperation.
"I think we should log out Silica," Leafa said, both logging out.
"Me too," Klein whimpered and logged out as well.
Lizbeth was still at the door in shock until Kirito turned his head to see her, she blushed and quickly logged out. Kirito and Sinon finally were able to laugh. After their laughter died down, they just stared at each other.
He's so close, Sinon thought, panicked at how close they were.
"I go should probably," Sinon mumbled, stumbling on her words. Kirito smirked.
"What I meant to say is I should probably go," Sinon corrected herself, blushing from embarrassment.
"Weren't you the one who said she wanted to stay all night?" Kirito reminded her.
"Yeah," she mentally slapped herself, remembering that was what she said.
"Then why the sudden change of heart?" Kirito teased.
"I'm pretty tired," Sinon whispered nervously.
"Well okay," he got off of her and stepped back.
"See ya tomorrow then?" Kirito asked hopefully. Sinon gently smiled and nodded in reply. They smiled at each other for a moment and lingered there before they both logged off.
