(3rd Person POV)

She came closer to the light, still in the lingering shadows, she saw the skylight.

She saw Ken. She saw Kirito. She saw Ken glowing blue, like an aura, and his piercing illuminating sapphire eyes glares at Kirito, as he held his lightning like sword towards him with a malicious grin.

It all flashed before their eyes. Kirito, unable to react on time, saw the attack come towards him. He saw it clearly coming but wasn't fast enough to react.

And like a flash, the lighting attack neared him, and closed his eyes, but the attack never landed its mark.

"Huh?" Kirito murmured, peeking open and saw the events take affect. He saw everything in a slow motion, and his eyes widened when he saw a familiar frame shield him, the HP good was running down.

"No," Kirito's eyes began to shimmer with the new tears that surfaced, that made its way to his cheek.

Sinon had desperately raced in front of Kirito and took the attack.

Her face showed deep hurt, and her cry was audible, as she took the hit, she almost fell, but she kept her composure and stood, swaying, and fighting to stand up.

"Sinon," Kirito reached to her and held her back, and she gladly leaned on him with a faint smile. She held out her hand and revealed the ring. The gemstone lost its brilliant blue color, and as her HP rapidly went down, it stopped at 1HP.

"I've always had trusted you," she murmured. Her life force was weak after the attack.

"Of course," Ken scoffed angrily. His eyes were on Sinon. Then they roamed back to Kirito.

"I was planning to deal with you later," Ken smirked, although he was visibly bitter and angry.

Kirito swiftly pulled Sinon behind him and held up his two swords, now on his toes.

"Drink my potion," Kirito whispered, taking out a Potion from his inventory and handed it to her.

"But this your only potion," Sinon mumbled a bit drowsily, due to her low life force.

"I still got this to fall back on," he smiled, holding out his graphite black gem ring. Sinon hesitantly took a gulp of the potion, and her HP rapidly can back to her, only by 75%

"Watch my back," Kirito murmured before he and Ken simultaneously dashed towards another, swords clashing. But this time Ken was stronger, he was faster.

Kirito had to be extra cautious. Ken saw a opening and flung his sword to Kirito before being blasted by a fire arrow. Ken growled as his first HP gauge was empty, and his second HP gauge was in use.

Kirito used this chance to give Ken a horizontal slash, and before Ken could return the favor, a arrow headed his way, and Peirce's in his eye.

"Agh!" Ken grunted. It was a horrific scene. Ken painfully howled as he pulled out the arrow, he lost vision in that eye.

Sinon was known to aim for the eyes when against a boss. Just because Ken was human didn't change that fact. He was a boss, nevertheless.

His HP went down by half, since it hand landed in a vulnerable place.

"Nice," Kirito murmured, although he grimaced. He was once shot by a fire arrow up his nose before when he grabbed Sinon's tail again, after being warned not to. The pain was virtual, but he knew it was really painful. And the eyes were a very sensitive part of the body. Ken must be in serious pain.

Ken growled and actually began to roar, the glowing aura surrounded him, and grew larger, like a fueling flame. He took his sword and desperately aimed it in their direction, preparing another attack.

Kirito, this time, swift on his feet, took Sinon's hand and hauled them away before the attack landed in that direction, surely would've killed them if they had stayed put.

"You okay?" Kirito quickly turned to her, placing his hand on her cheek.

"I'm fine, Kirito," she reassured before she glared behind him. Kirito turned and noticed Ken glare in their direction.

Kirito took his swords and held them up, one defensively and the other offensively before they simultaneously dashed together.

Kirito's sword fighting was almost elegant and smooth, as he danced away from Ken's sword and gracefully landed attacks if his own, trickling Ken's yellow HP bar, becoming red and redder.

Successfully, Kirito landed the last attack, causing Ken's second HP gauge to hit 0, and his third HP gauge was on use, his very last one.

He shouted, blinded by anger as he stomped his feet in a tantrum.

"His behavior, its acts like he's a boss, his attitude is visually that it was a boss," Sinon murmured. And if that was true. This meant this was going to be the toughest part.

"I am KING!" He howled. Was the game affecting his way if thinking. Dies he actually believe he was a boss, a king if this palace?

"How dare you morsels?" He spike as his voice deepened, and boomed within the room, echoing.

"I am KING!" He screeched.

"King of what? A abandoned palace? You're no king," Kirito scoffed. Ever since Sinon made her appearance, he was able to regain his cool, and composure, now that he knew she was okay.

Kirito charged at him full force. Gave him a horizontal slash. Ken was reckless. Angry. Like a bull being stabbed constantly, he was blinded by rage, unable to deal with the situation rationally.

His HP trickled down. He roared and clumsily swung his sword, grazing Kirito, just barely, his HP trickles down slightly. As he managed to dodge, Kirito trusted his sword into his abdomen and pulled it out, only to have his other sword thruster inside also.

Ken's HP ran down and was red. Ken screeched and started to swipe Kirito with his sword, charging at him, but to avail he dodged them as he made his way back, as Ken made his say forward.

"Be careful," Sinon murmured. Kirito turned to her and gave her a thumbs up before her eyes widened and Kirito felt a flash heat near his back.

"Kirito!" Sinon screamed. Ken through another attack similar to the one Sinon was hit with, when Kirito's back was turned...

But wow hand together, they work the best. They make such a great team, don't you think?
