The entrance exam felt like a fever dream to (Y/n).
One moment they were fighting, the next they passed out.

They could have sworn their foot was not okay, but now it's as if nothing happened thanks to a healing quirk the medic has.

And Midoriya?
Zoned out the entire walk home, has not been in contact at all lately.
"I do hope he's alright-"

"(F/N) (L/N)."
Akari sternly said at the limping figure making their way down the halls.

(Y/n) merely waves at her.
Giving her a small smile.

"Good afternoon to you too Aunt Akari."
They nonchalantly said while making their way to the kitchen.

"And just what do you think you're doing?"
She asked, crossing her arms.

(Y/n) blinks, looking at their aunt before pointing to the kitchen.

"To... eat...?"

"With your foot that's still healing?"
She retorted while (Y/n) still, somehow, does not see her point.

"It's not that bad??"

"It was crushed."

"Yeah but the recovery girl fully healed it, see!"
They enthusiastically said while giving said foot a little jiggle.

"Can I go eat now?"
They asked with a sweat, they were kind of, starving.

Akari squints at them, a short staring contest commences unannounced.
Then she sighs in defeat. Walking up to them before ruffling their hair.

"I already brought lunch for you upstairs!"

"Yeah but I'm hungry again."
They mumbled while attempting to push Akari's hand away.

"Fine, be sure to save room for dinner."

"Oh I'll always have room!"
They happily said while sprinting into the kitchen.

Akari watches them run off with a soft expression.
"Just like Nakama."

It had already been days since the entrance exam. Meaning the foot crushing incident has passed but it didn't stop her from worrying.

It already worried her from hell and back to see her kid come back with a wrapped up foot after they took an exam.

But she somehow, was not at all surprised.
She's had experience when their father used to be around.

Her train of thoughts gets interrupted by light and little footsteps, sounding like they're coming towards her.

She looks back to see Reo, panting heavily while his hands shakily hold up a letter. Trying his best to speak but it was either incoherent or inaudible due to his panting.

"Aunt- aunt Akari!"
The first few words that Akari understood.

"What is it darling?"
She asks with a smile, crouching down to his height.

"L-LETTER! LETTER!"
He continued while holding said letter out to her.

Akari takes the letter in confusion. Turning it over to see what it was only for her eyes to widen.

"Oh my god."
She gasps the moment she caught sight of a familiar school logo.

"(Y/N)!"

"Yeah? I'm here I'm here, did something ha-"
They said before pausing, sweating once again because of how the other two were staring at her.

"Are we getting blackmailed??"

"(Y/N)."

"WHAT?? I CANT READ YOUR EXPRESSIONS."
They defended themselves while Akari shoves the envelop to their face.

"HEY IF IT IS BLACKMAIL I DONT W-"

"(Y/N) JUST LOOK AT THE LETTER"
Reo yelled while tugging onto their arm, making them lean forward.

And there it was, the letter in view.

Wow.

"What am I looking at?"
The letter was backwards.

Aunt Akari tries to turn the envelope over as quickly as she could, pointing at the U.A logo while holding it close to their face.

"LOOK."

"... oh."

"OH."
(Y/n) gasped out while grabbing hold onto the letter.

"OH MY GOD"
They exclaimed, immediately running up to their room with Reo tagging along.

And if one were to be completely honest with the other.
They quite possibly, maybe even actually, forgot about the letter.

But, it's here now, a familiar wave of anxiety hitting them again.
They were just staring at the envelope, that alone already intimidated them.
This was nerve racking.

Reo was just at the other side of their room. Sure, he can be an annoying brother but he can respect the space they need. Although he is silently praying for his sibling to open up the letter already.

Akari was just outside their door, being as quiet as she could.
Of course she too would want to know the results even if she already knew the answer.
Deep down though, she wishes she was wrong.

With a shaky breath, (Y/n) carefully opens up the envelope. Their hands feeling metal instead of the expected piece of paper.
That's strange how come no one noticed there was a device in it?

"Huh, what's this?"
They asked out while Reo curiously walked up closer.

"There's a button!"
Reo pointed out the bottom of the device, pressing the button as well.

"REO! WHAT IF ITS A BO-"

"I AM HERE AS A RECORDING!"
A familiar voice booms out in front of them, making them shriek in shock and throw the device onto their desk.

Which somehow still landed properly and unharmed.

"ALL MIGHT?!?"
Reo excitedly exclaimed while (Y/n) was still in shocked state.

"I'm in town only because, I've come to teach at U.A.!"
He continued while (Y/n) was slowly processing it.

"What's that? I already took too long on the first recording? Stay on topic?"
All Might says out loud making it obvious there were other people behind the camera.

"There are more of these to do, so I'll cut to the chase!"
He said while gesturing to a screen.

The screen starts show casing (Y/n)'s fights with the robots. One where they ripped out its wires, another where they kicked its head off.
Reo started cheering and mimicking the punches his older sibling did out of excitement.

"Despite doing horribly on your written test!-"

A snort from behind the door could faintly be heard.

"You're a great fighter, quick to scan weak points!"
All Might praised while clapping his hands.

"Not only that, you are also quick to-"

The screen shows a scene where (Y/n) quickly brings a girl to safety, then cuts to them pushing someone away before having their foot crushed.

They winced at that, oh they still remember how that felt.

"You're also quick to jump in and help those in need."
All Might said while ending the series of clips.

"This exam you see! We weren't just watching for villain based points!"
He started off, once again dramatically gesturing the screen.

"Which means. Rescue points are also a factor!"
He exclaims while the screen once again turns on.

This was going really fast for (Y/n).
There were rescue points?
Hell, they didn't even keep count on how many points they got for destroying the robots.

"With that, you've earned yourself an extra 51 points boost! Totalling your points into..."
All Might said, pretending to be counting on a calculator he grabbed from nowhere.

"99 points!"
All Might states out while (Y/n) cringes at the uneven number.

But soon, the unnecessarily uneasy feeling disappears the moment they heard the words.

"You're in."
We're the last words they heard from All Might as the projection ends.

Making the room grow quiet.
Reo looks at them in anticipation, waiting for the always so late reaction his sibling gives. He finds them funny.

"You're in."
Repeats in their head.

A hand slaps over their mouth when realisation finally struck.
"Oh my god."

And with that, the first thing they did was scoop up their smaller sibling into their arms and give him a tight squeeze.

"IM IN IM IN!"
They squealed while Reo chants along with them.

"YOU'RE IN YOU'RE IN!"
He said happily despite having air squeezed out of his lungs by their tight embrace.

Akari sighs, feeling relieved for the good news.
But apart of her is still sad, the hero path is dangerous after all.

But they seem very happy about it.
