"Are you all right now?" While I was still crying, he spoke softly.

"Y-yes," but I know deep down that I am still not OK. My heart has been shattered into a million pieces that I don't believe can be reassembled.

He destroyed my heart after promising not to hurt me, not to cheat on me, and to be with me forever, but it was all a fever dream. What I despise about myself is that I place too much trust in others.

"Umm Xiumin sorry for using you like that" I said to him in between my sobs.

"It's fine... Stop crying. I know we don't know each other very well, but I hope we'll be friends... Don't cry anymore... If he makes you cry again, please contact me." He said this and handed me a folded piece of paper.

I opened the piece of paper to reveal a ten-digit number. This must be his phone number.

"Who knows, we might become close friends... see you later, Soo bin," he grinned and caressed my head.

His gestures make me blush only by his touch. He is lovely and considerate. When I needed him, he was there for me. Despite the fact that we are strangers, I got the impression that he is a pleasant and easygoing person to be around.

What a day, or more accurately, a dreadful day. First, my neck ached as a result of a lousy night's sleep the night before. Jaeho insisted on knowing why I avoided him. Now that he understands the reason, he has abandoned us. I know my heart is broken, but the good news is that I have Xiumin by my side . I am glad he's here to console me.

I even had a bad sleep I had last night. Now Jaeho kept insisting that I tell him why I kept avoiding him. Now he got the reasons . I know my heart is broken but the good thing from all of this is that I have someone  beside me, Xiumin. Good thing he is here to comfort me.

I hope to see him again.

The bell rang and I remained seated on my seat, hoping for the crowd of people to rush out to the door.

When all was clear, I stood up and took my bag and started to walk out of the class.

It   was a Friday, you know what that means, the last day of school till Monday. Two days off school. Honestly, it is not the most joyous occasion. School for this first week was horrible for me and I don't want to be there again.

"Wait Soo Bin let's go together" That voice is familiar oh yes So Ye.

I just nodded. Be in mind I am still adjusting to the whole friend thing. As an introvert you all can cut me some slack.

We walked out the classroom and into the hallway.

I sighed heavily and opened the locker door as So Ye's locker was next to mine. Throwing my book ini turned to glanced at myself in the small mirror attached to the wall of the locker studying at my reflection. My brown hair was up in a ponytail, giving a perfect view of my face.  I sighed heavily at the lack of effort in getting ready this morning.

"So, Soo Bin about our assignment due Monday let's do it at your house" So Ye suggested it.

"No!... Umm sorry let's do it at your place my parents are strict when it comes to bringing friends over" I said. I don't want people to know I am living in a rich environment. I don't want people to treat me differently.

And not towards So Ye. I started to like having her as my friend.

"Soo Bin we need to talk" Jaeho said and I just looked at So Ye. She was like what was going on or I don't want to be here in between me and Jaeho. I could see it in her face.

"I don't want to, why would we... We don't have anything to talk about" I yelled and So Ye face was so confused and Her eyes widened.

"Just leave me, don't ever be in my life again... Let's go So Ye" I dragged her and forced her to walk with me but was stopped by Jaeho blocking our way.

Jaeho said "Can we at least talk or  be friends but still I want you back"

"No… that's my answer to what you want yes well that is never going to happen" I said angrily.

"I let you two talk.. bye Soo Bin "So Ye said as she waved at me and walked away.

Wait So Ye come back I don't want to deal with him. I just don't. To see his face is just enough to make me rage with anger.

" Happy my friend isn't here to have that talk you want so badly"I shouted at him and he just stared at me.

" Listen Soo Bin, that day the kiss it was a mistake I can explain"He paused for a second but I interrupted him.

" What is there to explain you and her kiss and I saw it with my own eyes... What else to explain... We both are true and that final... I don't want to talk with you ever again... I don't want you in my life Jaeho... You broke my heart" I yelled as some tears fell bit by bit.

"Hey don't cry" He said softly.

"What no, I am not crying? Please leave" I yelled.

"Wait" He replied.

"What now?" I said.

"I know you Soo Bin you lied to me Xiumin isn't your real boyfriend you made it up to get me away... So please let me back in your life" He said out of nowhere.

And that made me enraged. You read me like a book, Jaeho. You were well aware that it was a lie. But I'm not rooting for him to win. I don't want him to believe he can get me back.

"What are you talking about, Xiumin is my genuine boyfriend," I responded uncomfortably.

"If he's your genuine boyfriend, show me proof and we'll see if this isn't a lie Soo Bin I know you when you lie," Jaeho grinned.

Oh no... oh no I am screwed. What to do... what to do. I can't just drag Xiumin and say "Hey can you be my fake boyfriend". Life isn't that easy.

"OK then, I'll prove it to you Jaeho, now leave," I said, and he left me alone in the hallway.

Before I could shut the door, So Ye entered. After all, this is her room. We were working on our assignment, which was due tomorrow. Her house was pleasant, not too big, just nice, and her family was kind as well. I wish I had a family like hers.

"I hate him so much why must he be here in the same school" So Ye sigh in frustration.

I wonder why she is frustrated.

"Sorry you must be wondering why I am yelling to myself she must be crazy sorry about that it's because" I cut her off by saying "If you don't want to share it with me it's fine"

"But I want to thank Soo Bin because you were my first friend at this new school," she remarked politely.

Aww She's so kind.

"Well, there's this guy I used to know, and now we met again, but I despise him, but here's the catch, he didn't recognise me," she says.

"Wait, why didn't he recognise you? What's his name?" I inquired out of curiosity.

"Suho is his name... Let's just say I done something to myself and he no longer recognises my face, but it's a good thing I can get back at him "She gave a sly grin.

"Well, you do you," I said, continuing taking notes for the assignment.

"Then how about you? Is there anything spectacular going on?" she inquired, her eyes widening.

"Well, not much. I broke up with my boyfriend because he was cheating on me, and I lied about having a new boyfriend," I explained, and she just stared at me, her face flushed with astonishment.

"I'm sure you're heartbroken, and who is this new boyfriend?" She inquired.

"Xiumin, his name is Kim Minseok... I didn't intend to... I just grabbed him out of nowhere and he said yeah, he was my new boyfriend, and he was in front of my ex... But now I'm in a difficult predicament "I went on.

" Bad situation?" she asked.

"It's because he knew I was lying about having a new boyfriend, but I need to provide him proof that it's true... It's all a mess "I said In frustration.

"How about you ask Xiumin to be your fake boyfriend and act it in front of your ex, and then he might leave you alone," she advised.

"Are you insane... I can't do that... What if he says no?"

"So, let's give it a shot... Do you have Xiumin's phone number?" She inquired as she handed me my phone.

"Y-yes, no, I can't ask him." I pushed the phone away to So Ye.

"Yes, you can... You can do it, Soo Bin; just ask him casually "She added as she passed the phone back to me.

"Fine, I'll do it ," I said as I typed in his phone number.

"Umm Hello," I said shyly.

"Hello this is Xiumin" a low voice said.

"Hello, my name is Soo Bin, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your assistance today "I stated.

"You're welcome, it's not a big deal," Xiumin said quietly.

"Can you do me a favour, Xiumin?" I inquired.

"Well, that depends on what the favour is," he said as he sat on his bed.

"Ummm... Xiumin, will you go out with me?" I said this and instantly hung up the phone because I was too nervous.

"Soo Bin, why didn't you wait a little longer to hear his response?" she asked, and I facepalmed myself.

I am doomed. What should I do when I confront him tomorrow?
