(Your POV)

"Hakuryuu."

"Last name?"

"..."

"What's your last name?"

"..."

"I can't let you join the club without a last name."

"I don't have one."

"Okay, Hakuryuu I Don't Have One. Any special skills?"

"Agility, trainings in treating minor injuries. And charm amongst women."

You involuntarily cleared your throat and adjusted your glasses. You dared not look up at the sassy applicant yet you put his name under the accepted members.

"I consider the first and second specialty beneficial for the club. You're accepted. Please leave your number so I can contact you for our activities."

"Thanks," Hakuryuu did what you said and left.

The door swung open and another applicant entered.

"Good day Miss (L/n). I'm here to apply for the school rescue and medication club."

"That's very obvious, I see. Name?"

"Shuu."

"Last name?"

"..."

You gave out a frustrated sigh. "Uggh. What's with people not having last names doing in my club?"

"I'm sorry."

"Anyway, any special skills? That can be useful for the club?" you said the last line a bit louder and with emphasis lest you hear something like charm amongst women again.

"I'm a versatile person. I also have training in CPR and I am skilled in wall and mountain climbing. I also love working with a team."

"Wonderful. You're in. Please leave your number."

"Thank you."

"Next."

You hear the door swing open and close twice.

Without a word, a paper almost slammed on your desk, making you look up with a frown.

"My application," a deep voice said.

"We're you not taught at home not to slam things on a table?"

"I live alone."

"I see. Name?"

"Tsurugi Kyousuke."

A smile crept on your face. "Finally, someone with a last name."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Any special skills useful for the club?" you ignored his question.

You hear Tsurugi click his tongue before answering. "It's all in the paper."

You checked his application and saw his skills written in one section: Agility, Versatility, trainings in applying first aid, and charm amongst women.

"Ugh. Just like the other one," you groaned. "Okay, you're in. Leave your number please."

Without a word, Tsurugi did what you asked and left.

You looked at your list of new members and noticed that you already have enough members. It's the start of a new school year and you became the head for a new club. Recruitment day was over in one since many people were interested or perhaps curious of the club.

"Hey, (L/n)-sama! Done with the recruitment?" a cheerful voice made you look up from your desk.

You huffed at the way Midori addressed you, with the -sama at the end of your last name.

"It seems so," you replied, stacking papers into a drawer.

"You think we can recruit more tomorrow?" Midori asked.

"I highly doubt that. The list is already full."

"Seriously?"

"You may see it for yourself," you unrolled the sheet with the names of the members on your desk.

Midori ran a finger on it and sighed. "Welp, what did you expect from a club with the school's most popular and smartest girl as the head?"

You rolled your eyes. "Being able to hold that title makes me feel... Uncomfortable," you slumped on a chair and played with your pen thoughtlessly.

"What are you talking about?" Midori took a seat across you. "A lot of people out there would love to be in your shoes."

"If so, can I just give it to them? They don't realize the pressure and expectations of everyone around you for being... Popular," you tweaked four fingers in the air as you said the last word.

"Oh well, I actually feel lucky it's you. Cause I know you can handle it," Midori smiled with eyes closed as she stood up. "Let me know about your activities soon. See ya, (L/n)-sama."

You waved goodbye to Midori before taking your phone out and saving all the numbers of the new club members.

Later that night, you sent them a voice message.

"Lovely evening. This is your Rescue and Medical Club head speaking. Let's meet tomorrow 5PM at the gym after classes in the afternoon for your orientation," the message said.

{Time Skip brought to you by (L/n)'s glasses. Buy now and get one free next year}

Next day 5PM.

All members of your club were at the gym.

Except for you.

Your class ended earlier that afternoon so you went to read at the library before heading to the gym.

However you lost track of time because of an interesting book you were reading, so you arrived at the gym five minutes late.

"Hello everyone. Sorry I'm late. I got lost in the path of life," you casually said with a smile. (This line isn't mine XD )

"If you behave like that you might find yourself in the path of death," Tsurugi told you with his arms crossed and his eyes closed.

"Hey, don't talk to her like that. She's our club head and the most popular----" Shuu began but Tsurugi cut him off.

"I don't give a shit. She's not supposed to be late being the club head after all."

You put your hand over your mouth and your shoulders shook as you tried to stop a laugh from breaking out. You did not feel offended. Instead, you were amused at Tsurugi but you don't know why.

Tsurugi glared at you. "You think this is funny?"

"Now, now that's enough," another voice said. "I'm glad you're now here, (L/n)-sama," it was Hakuryuu. He held out a hand to you and you stared at it.

"Hello Hakuryuu. Okay, let's start!" you clapped your hands twice, taking everyone's attention and leaving an ignored Hakuryuu to clear his throat and awkwardly put his hand back in his pocket.

The orientation went on real quick. You just gave out a few instructions and rules and a schedule of your upcoming activities.

As you dismissed, a teacher called your name.

You saw everyone leave then you approach the teacher. "Yes, Sensei?"

"I have a concern on some of your club members," the teacher began with a serious tone.

"What is it?"

"Are Hakuryuu, Tsurugi and Shuu official members of your club?"

"Yes they are, Sensei."

"Well I need you to take a very close watch on them. And I suggest, you take them to an outdoor activity, just you with the three of them."

You raised a brow at this sudden order. "With all due respect, sensei, I just met all my members today. I see no reason for those three to undergo any special activity with me."

"Well then for your information, those three have been hopping from club to club last year. Why? Cause they are troublemakers. Being one of the students that model excellence in our school, I need you to fix that problem. Since they are now in your club."

You stared at the teacher in deep thought. Tsurugi? Well he could be outspoken and rude but you could say he talks sense. Shuu? He seems polite. And nice. How could he be a troublemaker? Hakuryuu? He may be sassy and over confident but he seems not the kind of guy who would start a fight.

Well, you just met them. Your impressions may be wrong so you will try to see for yourself.

"Okay, Sensei. I will do it," you said.

"I hope there will be good results," he said before turning his back on you.

You rushed home and immediately messaged Shuu, Tsurugi and Hakuryuu you next day at the clubroom.

{Another timeskip brought to you by Hakuryuu's Shining Shimmering Glowing Dragon}

Tsurugi had his arms crossed and looked as if he could not even swallow his own saliva. Obviously he's not positive about the idea of the special activity.

Hakuryuu didn't seem to care. He was busy running a hand through his crowning glory of platinum waves and from time to time, he glances at you and winks, making you feel slightly uncomfortable.

You diverted your attention towards Shuu who seemed to be the only one positively charged with a happy energy at the thought that you will be going on a mountain trip at the town's outskirts this weekend.

"That's very exciting, (L/n). Can I suggest stuff that we could bring to aid in our activity?" Shuu asked while smiling from ear to ear.

"Feel free to do so," you said.

As Shuu finished sharing what he could, you told them, " Guys, this was an order by a teacher. You are all required to comply. We leave at dawn on Saturday morning."

{Another timeskip sorry. Brought to you by Shuu's red and white highlights}

Saturday came. You put on a comfortable outfit for hiking which included a sleeveless white shirt that fit your curves, black shorts that reached an inch above your knee, leather high tops and a cap.

You met the other three at the foot of the mountain and saw the looks on their faces which are just priceless.

Tsurugi's face says, 'what choice do I have?' Hakuryuu's says 'I'm charming and I don't care.' And Shuu was like 'I was born ready for this.'

A lovely greeting to a long day ahead.

"We'll start climbing now then look for level ground within a one and a half mile radius then camp there," you said.

"That's too high," Tsurugi complained.

"Are you scared?" you smirked at him.

"Hell no. Let's get moving."

Your smirk turned to a grin at hearing Tsurugi agree.

(Tsurugi's POV)

(L/n) walked ahead and we all followed. Damn, why the heck did I join this club in the first place? Instead of staying at home and probably just playing videogames, I had dragged my ass so fucking early in the morning and later I'll have to tire myself for dreading the wilderness.

This is going to be a long dayyyy...

"Hey Tsurugi," Hakuryuu nudged my shoulder and whispered.

I hummed in response.

"Does (L/n) have a boyfriend?"

"What the heck? Why are you asking me that?!"

He stared at (L/n) who had her back on us. "I think she's single," Hakuryuu almost sang.

I clicked my tongue and tried walking ahead but Hakuryuu caught up with me. "Do you think if I ask her to be my girlfriend, she would say yes?"

"Why don't you ask her yourself and find out instead of telling me that shit?"

"But you liked her too, don't you?" Hakuryuu's face etched a smirk.

I rolled my eyes. "Mind your own business."

"I knew I was right. Welp, may the best man win."

You're crazy, I thought. Just then we noticed (L/n) and Shuu talking and giggling. "I think somebody already won."

"Not yet," Hakuryuu almost growled then he hastily walked towards Shuu and (L/n).

Okay, I'll stay out of this.

(Shuu's POV)

"And then I was like, 'Timber!' everyone panicked then I found myself laughing so hard on my stomach," I was telling (L/n) about my experience last time I went mountain climbing and camping.

She giggled and she's really cute when she smiles.

I felt a hundred times lucky to be in this special activity with her. She's smart, bold, talented and oh so gorgeous. I wish this day would never end.

"So you're a bit of a prankster," she said between laughs.

"You can say that. But for a prankster I could say I'm not a dangerous one," I said.

"You could be," another voice cut in and who would it be but Hakuryuu.

"What are you trying to imply?" I asked, feeling the tension in Hakuryuu's tone.

"Hmp. You know what it means. Anyway, (L/n). Are we at the campsite yet?" I could clearly notice that Hakuryuu was trying to change the subject.

(L/n) looked at her watch. "Well, it's only been 15 minutes since we left the foot of the mountain and there's no sign of level ground yet so I guess we still have an hour to go before we reach any camp site."

"I see. Tell me if you're tired. I'll carry you," Hakuryuu said with a smirk, making me shift uncomfortably.

Don't tell me he also likes (L/n).

"Thanks Hakuryuu. But I'm sure I'll be fine."

"If you say so. But I'll be right here."

And I'm right here too!

(Hakuryuu's POV)

An hour passed and there was still no sign of any level ground. We found ourselves in the middle of the forest and (L/n), oh gorgeous and sweet-smelling (L/n) said that we rest for a while.

"Alright. We head north later on. It's the nearest level ground I know," (L/n) said.

"How far is it?" Tsurugi asked.

"Not far. Maybe half a mile from here. Let's go?" (L/n) said but she stooped down to massage her knee. It must be aching.

"Are you sure? You look tired," the oh so concerned Shuu said.

"I'm fine."

"I can help," I said and without thinking twice, I walked towards (L/n), lifted her with one arm and put her body over my shoulder.

"Hey, what are you doing? Put me down!" (L/n) protested but she could barely move.

"Put her down, Hakuryuu," Tsurugi said, almost demanding, and Shuu looked away with a frown.

"She's tired and I don't mind carrying her the rest of the way. You guys should be thanking me," I reasoned.

"I never said I was tired now put me down!!!" (L/n) punched my back but I ignored her.

"Which way is north?" I asked.

Shuu unknowingly pointed forward then I walked. "Let's go."

"The lady said, put her down. You're obviously harassing her," Tsurugi now walked towards me.

"Would you rather let her walk with a tired knee?"

"No. But I'd rather show her some respect."

I scoffed. "Don't talk to me about respect. You weren't giving her that since orientation day. Well, I'm not letting her walk with a tired knee."

I continued walking and (L/n) seemed to have stopped protesting and I could guess she had one hand on her chin with her elbow on my back and a frown on her face.

Once we reached the camp site, I gently put her down.

A sharp pain was felt on my face as I realized (L/n) had slapped me before walking away.

"You're welcome, (L/n)."

(Back to your POV)

What the heck was Hakuryuu thinking? He couldn't just do things like that to me, that idiot. My knee actually hurts. I could've been grateful to him if he hadn't done it by force. But I already got my revenge by leaving a red mark on his face. Ha.

We started to setup tents. Shuu was helping me with mine when something slithery fell from a tree and left a sharp pain on my shoulder.

I looked at it and a viper had successfully pierced its fangs on me, making me feel dizzy.

"Shuu----" I managed to say but I fell on the ground.

"(L/n)!" I hear the three of them say.

"What are you doing? Don't just stare at her!" It sounded like Tsurugi was scolding Shuu.

I managed to lift my head then I saw Tsurugi grabbing my arm and he immediately put his lips on the bite mark, making me cringe at the slight tingling feeling that mixed with the pain.

Tsurugi sucked up the venom then spit it out. Then he tried again. I felt weak. Yet lucky that Tsurugi had removed the venom before it spread at the rest of my body.

As soon as he is done, he ran a hand on my face. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah. Thanks," I said. "Just a little headache that is."

"You need rest," Tsurugi said before standing up.

"I'll make a tourniquet for your wound," Hakuryuu offered, helping me up.

"I'll finish setting up your tent so could rest," Shuu said.

"Thank you," I said. The teacher must be wrong. They are all so caring and they're not that troublesome at all. After I get some rest, I'll dismiss the activity. I've seen enough of what I need to see from these three.

{Another timeskip brought to you by Tsurugi's eyeliner}

You woke up and saw that it was already dark. A faint light flickered outside the tent and you heard voices talking low yet it sounded like they were arguing. You cautiously made your way to the entrance and tried not to make a sound to listen to the conversation.

"I know she likes me already. She had spent the early hours talking with me and I could tell that she was having a lot of fun," Shuu said.

"She's a friendly person that's why she was talking to you. But I felt a connection between us when I put the tourniquet on (L/n)," Hakuryuu said.

What the heck are they talking about?

"You know you shouldn't judge (L/n) in any way. Personally I think we shouldn't meddle with whatever her opinion is," that was Tsurugi. "But I wouldn't mind asking her out after this."

"She'll reject you once she has already said yes to me," Hakuryuu confidently said.

"We'll see," Shuu said as he stood up and made his way to your tent.

"Seriously, are you going to ask her now?" Hakuryuu followed behind Shuu and Tsurugi shifted and stood up as well.

"Why not?" Shuu with a small smile.

"Oh for heaven's sake, Shuu, (L/n) needs to rest now!" Tsurugi interrupted.

That's it, you decided to end this once and for all. You stepped out of your hiding place and smiled at them.

"Holy mother of...!" Hakuryuu was startled when he saw you and he hid behind Shuu.

Shuu gently smiled at you.

"I heard," you said, earning a sigh from the three, and God forbid, they are all looking at you as if expecting you to choose one of them.

"You know you don't really have to argue over it. We can go out on a date, the four of us. Right after this activity."

"But I wanna go out with you alone, (L/n)," Shuu said.

You sat by the fire. "Who knows? I might choose and go out with only one of you someday. But now, I'm glad to have you all by my side. You're all talented and awesome members of the club."

Tsurugi smiled with his eyes closed. Hakuryuu did the same and he and Shuu sat near you.

You felt something twitch in your stomach. "I'm hungry. Can we have some barbeque?"

Gin: The end! Phew. It's over a thousand words 😶

Kariya: so who did reader-chan choose?

Gin: that depends on her. But if I were her, I'd choose them all!

Kariya: that's evil.

Gin: IKR. 😏 Anyway guys, it's my first time to be very detailed (in the least) in a one shot. Is this better than the shorter ones? Tell me what you think about it.

[The line in this one shot which is not mine belongs to Kakashi Hatake, from Naruto]

Kariya: Yeah, and thanks for requesting, Reddishing_Chic , hope you liked it. Gin-senpai doesn't own anything or anyone but the storyline. Bye~
