"Soyokaze Step!"

That voice. It kept ringing like a broken record in your head.

That annoying hairstyle. How does he even keep it that way?!

Those large blue eyes. Why won't they leave your sight?!

"You're not planning to set Matsukaze on fire with that gaze, are you (L/n)?" your fellow Seed told you with a smirk and his eyes closed.

"Shut up, Tsurugi," you said and crossed your arms. "You know we're here to make sure they obey Fifth Sector's orders not that."

"Exactly the point," Tsurugi said before leaving you alone on the bench.

You clicked your tongue at the blue-haired guy.

Ever since you and Tsurugi were sent to Raimon Jr. High as Seeds, you can't help but notice the brunette freshman who has been trying to go against Fifth Sector's orders and play his true soccer.

He annoyed you so much that you can't stop yourself from consistently talking about him to Tsurugi.

And the worst is, instead of getting annoyed as well, Tsurugi started to tease you, saying that you're probably just having a big crush on Tenma that's why you were always blabbering about him.

You stood up, left the field, and pondered to yourself. Maybe Tsurugi was right after all.

(Early Timeskip)

You we're back at early morning practice and you we're at the bench again.

Out of nowhere, Tenma grabbed your hand. "Sakka yarouze!!!" the brunette happily said while dragging you away from the bench.

"Eh?!" you frowned. "What do you think you're doing?!"

You looked back and saw Tsurugi smirking.

Well shit. Not that again.

"Come on, (Y/n)! You're here to play right?"

"I am not! Now quit dragging me you baka!"

Tenma then realized that he was irritating you so he let go of your hand. Then you walked away.

{At school}

You were walking down the hallway to your next class with Tsurugi when Tenma, again, waved at you and Tsurugi from his locker.

"Oi, Tsurugi! (Y/n)!"

You did not respond. Yet you were looking at his smiling face and you can't deny that Tenma is adorable. Wait what?

You were unconsciously looking at Tenma when Tsurugi said, " You better watch where you're going."

But before you could respond, your face already hit a post. Hard.

Tsurugi tried his best not to laugh but he failed while you sat on the floor, rubbing your cheek.

That's it. I couldn't take it anymore.

You hastily stood up and walked towards Tenma.

"(Y-y/n)??" Tenma nervously muttered your name as he saw you approach him and you looked angry.

You grabbed him by the arm and led him out the school grounds.

"(Y/n), what's wrong? Are you okay?" Tenma worriedly asked as you glared at him.

"Okay?!" you pointed at the red mark on your face. "Does this look OKAY to you?!"

"Th-that's not what I meant (Y/n)," Tenma began to sweatdrop.

"Then what we're you trying to do?! Are you trying to make a fool out of me?!"

"No-no-no I wasn't! Ughh..." he dropped his face on his hands. "Look (Y/n). I... I really like you!"

What the heck? You looked at Tenma and saw his face turn blood-red.

"What are you saying?!" you said but you actually wanted to know if what he said is true.

"I like you! But I kept holding back because I know you're loyal as a Seed and I thought you were dating Tsurugi..."

"What? I'm not dating Tsurugi because I like you too, you baka," you said out of nowhere.

"Y-you do?" Tenma's face brightened.

"Do I have to repeat myself?"

"Oh no of course not!" Tenma said trying his best not to upset you. "Then can I ask you out on a date?"

"Fine. Saturday. At the park. 10am. Don't be late," you said and left with your eyes closed and your hands in your pockets.

"Thanks, (Y/n)! See ya!" Tenma said before planting a quick kiss on your cheek and ran off.

You were left on your spot, touching your face and your heart almost dropped.
