Benedict's POV

"Just hold on Ivy..." I pushed her hair out of the way and eight minutes past.

There was a loud bang on the door, and Emily rushed to it.

"Hm..." Ivy groaned, and I faced her.

"Where's the patient?" The medic shouted.

"She's here, here." I urged them to come closer and they made their way towards me.

The medic crouched down.

"What's her name sir?"

"It's Ivy, Ivy Harper."

"Miss Harper, can you hear me?" Ivy moans. The medic places two fingers on her neck. "Pulse is weak."

"What, what's wrong?" I frown.

"She had turned pale, we will need to take her in." The man calls over the other medics. "Three, two, one, heave!" They are pick up Ivy and I watched them walk out of the door.

"Where are they taking Mom?" Emily peers up at me.

"Just to... go and get checked. She'll be..." I breathe out. "... fine."

I place my hands around my hips and have no idea what to do.

I was wondering if taking or leaving Emily would do her any food.

So, I picked her up and grabbed my coat.

"I'm not that little Ben!" She giggled and I rubbed the tip of my nose onto hers, treating her like my own daughter.

She was though.

"I'm afraid you are right now." I take a deep breath. "Let's go and help your Mother."

Ivy's POV

I don't really feel anything.

Well, that's because I am now sound asleep.

While be half awake before, I knew that I wasn't in my apartment. I was at the hospital.

God, Emily.

Emily must have been-

I got up with a gasp and fiddled with the sheets.

"Ivy?" I heard the familiar voice and turned my head right.

Benedict got up and smiled, placing his hand onto my own. "How you feeling?" Gulping, I nodded slowly.

"I'm fine." I touched my head. "What... happened? And how did you get me... here?" All these questions, he better answer them.

"Well..." He pulled up a chair and simpered. "You might want to lay back."

"Why...?"

"You fainted and Emily phoned me, so I came running." He smiled again. "I'm glad... you're okay now. I think you'll be discharged soon." Benedict said, leaning back.

"Where is Emily?"

"She's fine, she just stepped outside." I darted my head to him.

"You left Emily on her own?!"

"Mom!" Cried out that little voice. Emily ran up to me and jumped onto the bed.

"Hey..." I tapped her nose and hugged her tight. "Mom is sorry for scaring you." Emily shook her head.

"It's fine. Benedict helped me and you Mom." I smiled slightly and mouthed a 'thank you,' since I didn't want to totally ruin him.

He just saved my life.

"My gosh, Ivy!" Lucy rushed up to me and held about three bags. "Are you okay, Emily called me! I was so worried." I chuckled.

"I was fine, besides, Benedict got me here. I'm safe."

"Thanks Benny boy!" We both smiled. "Go and join Jensen outside yeah?" Benedict straightened himself and waved a little at me, before leaving the room.

"Is there a reason to get us alone?" I tilted my head and lifted an eyebrow.

"Are you and Ben... okay?" I nodded without thinking.

"I... yes..." I didn't know.

I had no idea how we were.

"Are you... going to give him a chance?"

"I'm not so sure."

"Ivy, I want the best for you." I smile at Lucy.

"I... I know. Look, I can't get over something like this that quickly... besides... I want to officially know." Lucy frowns at me.

"Know what?"

"Know if Benedict he is the Father..." I whisper.

Benedict's POV

I bury my head into my hands, yawning.

"Allright?" Jensen nudged me, smiling.

"Yeah, I am good."

"Tiring huh?" I scoff.

"Yeah, definately."

"You made a good call." I face Jesen. "Saving your girl like that, very nice. One way to get the ladies. You save 'em." Oh P-lease.

"Well, yeah... I tried."

"Good." He said as I lean back into my seat.

"I... I love her." Wait, did I say that out loud?

Jensen laughs.

"That's nice!" I then chuckle nervously. Poo. "You should go get her then."

"No..." I shake my head.

"What? Why?"

"It's complicated."
