"So, Ms. Chrissy. Can I -" Joshua offered his hand but was interrupted by another voice.
"Chrissy, Can I have this dance?"
Yes , it was seth.

"Well-" Chrissy was confused and looking back and forth from Joshua to Ian."
"Isn't it fun to watch a bit*h playing with two boys?" Kylie said to Jessie.

Jessie came in front of Joshua and offered him, her hand. "Can I have this dance?"

Without a second thought Joshua said" No, I am good. I rather die then dance with you." Joshua Said angrily.

Joshua saw Chrissy's eyes on seth. Joshua clears his throat. Each and every eyes were on them. A loud whispers can be heard across the hall even into the loud music.
Chrissy smiled at seth and grabbed Joshua's hand. Jessie moved his gaze from Joshua to Chrissy and then to Seth.
"Joshua, let's go." Chrissy smiled softly at Joshua and turned to dance floor.

"Guess, you're all alone again." Seth Said.
"Just so you remember, you also get rejected just now." Jessie said sarcastically.

Holding Joshua's cold hands, Chrissy felt shiver down her spine.
It was a song "perfect" by Ed Sheeran.

Joshua's hand on Chrissy's waist and Chrissy's hand on Joshua's shoulder.

They danced slowly, busy looking deep into each other eyes.

The lights in the ball room dimmed into soft orange color. And the white spotlights on the 6 couples that were dancing, including Ian and Ruth.

Chrissy leaned closer to Joshua's ear and whispered " It's suddenly so hot in here, I am going to be a mess."
Joshua leaned down a whisper on Chrissy's neck" You look perfect tonight."
Chrissy could feel his cold breath on her neck.

♪ I whispered underneath my breath but,♪
♪ You heard it "Darling, you look perfect ♪ ♪ tonight.♪

"It's a beautiful song, isn't it?" Chrissy said smiling with her whole heart.

"From now on, it's our song." Joshua smiling even brighter.

Ian chuckled.
"What happened?" Ruth asked confused.
"It's been a long time , since I have seen him smiling this bright." Ian sighed in relief now looking into Ruth's eyes.

They danced on the whole song, Chrissy and Joshua,forgetting there are people around them. Recording them and staring at them too hard. They were Just looking deeply into each other's eye. Chrissy could feel butterflies in her stomach.

It was 6 pm, when Chrissy and Ruth arrived in the party and its currently
12 am. Chrissy suddenly saw the time in her phone and almost screamed, 5 miss calls from her mother and 2 from her father. 15 messages from Emily and 3 calls from Rena ( Ruth's mother.)

"Oh, shit. Let's get going, Ruth." Chrissy said worried.
"What, why? It's just--" Ruth eyes widened in horror, she knew what will happen now.

Chrissy called her mother quickly and asked her for a favor.
"Mom, call Mrs. Rena now and tell her we are home and asleep from being tired."
Chrissy thanked her mom and disconnected her phone. She gave a weak smile to Ruth.
"It's fine. Let's go now." Chrissy said to Ruth.
"Let's go, before he come to check." Ruth Said, eyes red with horror and tiredness.

"What's happening ?" Ian asked

"Nothing, I-- I am sorry. We have to go now." Ruth said shivering.

"We can drop you both home." Ian Said pointing at his car across the parking lot.

"No" Chrissy said suddenly leaving three of them in shock. "I mean, i already booked our cab." She added quickly. Showing them her phone. " It'll be here in 2 min " Chrissy smiled awkwardly.

"You are weird, you know that. Right?" Joshua exclaimed. "We're just talking about dropping you not kidnapping you."

"You might, after all. Who leaves a beautiful woman alone." Chrissy said smiling, blinking continuously, thinking she is looking cute.

"Beautiful girl, where? I can't see her" Joshua said looking around.

Chrissy scoffs.
"Well, I am here and I am beautiful " Chrissy rolled her eyes.

" You're mistaken. You're not that beautiful." Joshua snapped.

"That beautiful?? Means i am somehow beautiful. And yeah i remember someone can't take his eyes off me, tonight." Chrissy said proudly. Staring directly at Joshua.

"What? Me? No way, i-" Joshua was interrupted.
"Well, I'll go. My cab here, monkey" Chrissy Said. " See you on Monday." She added.
She started walking towards her cab, which was a white swift.

"You are not coming tomorrow?" Joshua said almost yelled.

" Tomorrow is holiday, you moron. What are you going to come for, to sweep the floor." Chrissy yelled back.

Chrissy suddenly stopped and turned around. Joshua follows Chrissy eyes and turned around. They both froze. They saw Ruth and Ian kissing. Chrissy's mouth was left open. Joshua was in awe.

Ruth broke off the kiss and Said
"Thank you, this means a world to me."
Her cheeks red as a tomato. Her eyes on the ground.
Ian pulled her chins up to meet his eyes to hers.
Ruth eyes were crazy red.
"Don't worry about anything, I am here. Just give me a call. And I'll be there for you." Ian Said.

Ruth hugged him for few seconds. She broke off the hug and looked in his eyes.

Chrissy chuckled. Which distracted both of them out of their bubble. Both of them ,Looking directly at Chrissy.
" My cab is here, I have to go."
Ruth Said pointing at her cab.
"Okay, be safe. " Ian Said.
Ruth tip toed and gave a peck on his lips. And started walking towards Chrissy. Smiling shyly.
Ian in shocked. Touching his lips and smiling uncontrollable.
Chrissy and Joshua still in shocked.
Ruth grabbed Chrissy's hand and get in her cab.
Chrissy and Joshua shared a look with each other. Which was a look of "UNBELIEVABLE".

"Chrissy, listen-" Ruth said but was cut off.
"No, i am not going to listen." Chrissy said upset.

"Bro,that -" Ian tried to explain.
"Just shut up. "
"Listen to me-"
"Nahh uhh, not a word, just get in the car" Joshua exclaimed sharply.
