Adam's POV

"Thank goodness you made it here without a scratch," I said waving my hands like I was singing the Alleluia chorus

"I'd love if you don't bother me Adam Gates" She stated

"I was just teasing"

"Are you the only one at home?" She inquired

"Yeah, my Parents traveled" I responded

"Okay. Let's get started" She stated

" I knew you were going to say something like that. Chill girl" I pronounced

"Time is life, the earlier we start....."

"I know, I know" I interrupted her

That's what my dad always says.

"Give up and let's revise. I can't let my grades suffer" She expressed

"Okay, this way to my room" I lead the way

"Okay" She appended following me

"Okay, we've gone through the hormones and the kidney. Do you fully understand Homeostasis in the liver?" I inquired

"Just a little, not fully" She answered

Yes, finally, there's something she doesn't understand perfectly. I'm not saying this in a bad way, I mean, she knows almost everything so it's strange she doesn't understand something. She is a full-time nerd, always studying even during the weekend. She's not like other nerds in the sense of her social life. She's current with recent world happenings, sociable, funny, she doesn't use glasses, and she's different generally. Most nerds are with spectacles, ponytails and have a poor social life but she's the 21st-century badass nerd. Instead of wearing sweaters, jeans, socks, glasses that typical nerds wear, she wears crop tops sweater with jeans, tank tops, bandanas, sneakers. There's just something spectacular about her and she's a great friend. She may seem proud and bossy sometimes but she has a cool side

"I'll explain and you can ask me questions if you need clarification. The liver is the largest internal organ in the body. It's at the right part of the stomach. It works along the Pancreas which secretes Insulin. The liver performs functions like secretion of bile, detoxification of products, the formation of red blood cells, and vitamin B12. It maintains a water-salt level in the body. Insulin converts excess glucose to glycogen and vice-versa..................................."

Five minutes after

"Do you understand?" I enquired

"Yeah, thanks a lot" She responded

Of course, a sharp brain, quick to understand and grab things.

"We're left with the brain and the skin" I declared

"I need a break" She stated

"I was just about to say that" I added

"Won't you offer me something to eat or drink?" She asked

"My bad" I declared and left

I'm not used to having people around except Richard. Speaking of Richard, I've not seen him lately. he has probably buried his head in shame. I won't make the first move by putting a call across to him, he needs to retrace his steps and come back to his senses.

Zen's POV

I did not expect a room to be this big. It's also really beautiful he wasn't joking when he said blue is his best color

He's proved to be a great guy. It's difficult saying this but I think I'm getting to love New York. The last thing I want is for my dad to get a job. Adam also has pictures of himself and his parents on the wall. His soccer trophies and medals are also arranged neatly. This is the first organized guy I'm meeting apart from my dad. I expect a guy's room to be littered with socks to the West and shoes to the East. He has a shelve in which his books are arranged neatly. The bed is well laid and I'm impressed.

He returned with Pizza and two bottles of Soda

"Did you just order this?" I asked referring to the Pizza

"Yes, I ordered it online and they had a delivery on the street so the just branched"

"Do you know the best thing to do when eating a pizza?" He asked

"No, tell me" I responded

" Reading Pride and Prejudice"

"Are you for real" I enquired

I'm not into romance one bit. I'm so into my books

"Yeah, I'll read a part to you. Wanna hear it?" He inquired

"Okay, read I'm listening"

"I'll be reading from Chapter 32"mHe declared

I think I have understood that Mr. Bingley has not much idea of ever returning to Netherfield again?

I have never heard him say so; but it is probable that he may spend very little of his time there in the future. He has many friends and is at a time of life when friends and engagements are continually increasing.

If he means to be but little at Netherfield, it would be better for the neighbourhood that he should give up the place entirely, for then we might possibly get a settled family there. But, perhaps, Mr. Bingley did not take the house so much for the convenience of the neighbourhood as for his own, and we must expect him to keep it or quit it on the same principle."

I should not be surprised," said Darcy, "if he were to give it up as soon as any eligible purchase offers."

Elizabeth made no answer. She was afraid of talking longer of his friend; and, having nothing else to say, was now determined to leave the trouble of finding a subject to him.

He took the hint and soon began with, "This seems a very comfortable house. Lady Catherine, I believe, did a great deal to it when Mr. Collins first came to Hunsford." He read

"That'll be all for, you have to go don't you?" He asked

"How did you know I have to get home now. Are you snooping?", I asked with suspicion

"Something like that. Forgive me" He stated

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow" I declared

"Bye" He stated

"And, I'll be taking this," I said and took the remaining Pizza

"Look who's craving for food" He appended

Catch ya later" I said and left the room
