Brian's POV

I had just finished a heist and gotten away from Night Owl. I pulled into an alley way and started counting how much I had gained from robbing the bank when I suddenly heard what sounded like some sort of crying. I peaked out of the window of the van when I noticed a man on the ground(Ha! It's not just fathers abandoning the mother and child!) and a child wrapped up a small distance from him.

I got out of the van and walked over to the man who looked like he had been shot a while ago. I checked him for a pulse only to find his body was cold and the pulse was non-existent. I walked over to the child and picked them up. This seemed to stop them from crying cause they quieted down when I picked them up. I looked down at the infant in my arms, watching as it examined me and babbled slightly.

I stared at the baby a moment before sighing and walking towards the van. "Looks like I'm going to have to get somethings before we get home." I said to myself as I got  into the van. I gave it a moment of thought before remaking my decision. I decided to head to the base first since it was closer than the store and the make my assistant David, or as I call him, Nogla, go get the supplies needed to take care of the child.

I walked into the base, carrying the child in my arms as I heard a "So the heist was a suc- what the heck?" from Nogla. I looked up at him and nodded. "It was a success. The money is still in the van. Look what I found when I stopped in an alley to count the money!" I said motioning to the child in my arms. Nogla stared as I spoke before sighing. "Did you steal the child from it's mother?" He asked.

I frowned slightly. "No, there was no mother nearby and the father was dead. Somehow the child wasn't." I said as Nogla got a surprised look on his face. "Alright then. Well we should get the money out of the van before we get robbed." Nogla said. I got a small idea in my head that would hopefully warm him up to the child and grinned slightly. "Yeah, you're right. I'll get to work on that. Hold the baby." I said and handed him the baby before walking out.

Nogla Pov

I looked surprised as I held the infant in my arms and Terroriser walking out to start bringing money into the base. I look at the baby to see that it was currently asleep, so I took the time that while I had it, to find out it's gender. It turns out the child was a (your gender), so now at least we knew that about the child. I watched Terroriser walk inside with a bag of money and said, "Hey, I checked and the child is a (your gender), what should we name them?"

Brian put the bag of money down and thought a bit. "How about (Y/n)?" He asked. "Hmmm... (Y/n) Hanby(Brian's last name).... I like it." I said and looked in the blanket before finding a small note. I took it out as Brian went back outside. It had what looked to be a name but it was too faded to read and a birthday. I held the (Y/n) with one arm as I grabbed a pencil and wrote down the date so I could put it on the calendar later.

Brian walked back in and looked at me. "What ya doing lad?" He asked. "There was a paper in the blanket with faded writin' and I was able to make out a birthdate I guess." I said before putting the pencil down and went back to holding (y/n) with both arms. Brian nodded, putting the bag down before walking over and taking (Y/n), who was starting to wake up. Brian noticed and smiled before saying, "Hi there (Y/n)." in a baby voice which caused him/her/them to giggle.

Brain POV

"Hey David, do you think you could go to the store to grab some stuff for little (Y/n) here?" I asked. Nogla nodded, grabbing his wallet and car keys. "Want any food?" He asked. "I'll take pizza. Make sure to grab formula for (Y/n)." I said which made Nogla nod before walking out the door. I smiled and looked down at (Y/n) who was babbling. "How about we get you a bath?" I asked in a baby voice, making (Y/n) laugh. I smile and start heading to a bathroom, ready to embrace the new step of parenthood.
