Friends?

"Wanna have lunch before round two of the show starts ," Phil asked smiling. "Sure," I replied as we walked to the employee lounge, and up to Phil's locker. "Did you not bring anything," he asked concerned as he pulled out his Titan lunchbox. "No I just started. I wasn't even suppose to work today, I just ended my interview before the show," I said shyly.

"Hey how about we go to the cafe next door. We have an hour so why not use it. Come on my treat," he smiled sweetly. "Well if you insist," I chuckled. He put his lunchbox back, and we headed to the cafe. "So tell me about yourself. We might as well get to know each other better since the show will be easier to do as friends," he said as they sat waiting for menus.

"True, well my name is (y/n), I'm (age), and I'm trying to live independently in a new city," I said stirring my drink. "Wow must be tough. Have you been looking for a Roomate," asked Phil. "Nah I'm doing my own thing. Plus I don't wake anyone up at my midnight cereal runs," I chuckle and he laughed. The waitress came over and took our order.

"Well if you ever get lonely we can hang out. You seem fun," he smiled. "Thanks you too. So what's left on the show," I asked. "Well we have a short one today. Just saying the events happening around England, witty comments, then say our goodbyes, easy peesy," Phil chuckled. "Ok good, I was nervous. I thought I was just going to be an assistant, but here I am on the radio," I sighed as the food was placed in front of me.

"Hey your doing great! And it's only if Dan or I get sick. I'm sure he'll be in tomorrow. So don't worry about it," said Phil. "I'll try," I smiled. We ate and chatted with time to casually walk back to the recording room. After the show we said our good byes and I went home. "Well this was sure a weird day," I laughed as I went on the Internet.

(Phil's Pov)

I got home and saw Dan laying on the couch in a wave of tissues and a graveyard of empty soup bowls. "You feeling better," I asked taking off my shoes. "Yeah... Kinda. I'm not sneezing my brains out every 20 min, so pretty good," Dan sighed as he sat up. "Good to hear," chuckled Phil as he walked to the kitchen. "So how was work," asked Dan. "Great did you catch it," asked Phil. "Yeah, so who is she," he asked watching Phil sit at the table with a bowl of crisps.

"Oh her name is (y/n), she's really cool! She's our new fill in, for when one of us is sick. I think you'll like her," he smiled. "Well looks like you get another day with her. I still feel like shit," sighed Dan, "I don't mind," said Phil. "Do you LIKE her?" Teased Dan. "What!? No I just like her as a friend I swear!," said Phil blushing. "Wow pretty defensive, you sure," smirked Dan. "Yes I'm sure! She's pretty but we're friends. Plus she's way out of my league," chuckled Phil. "That pretty," gasped Dan. "Yeah, but Im just not into her in that way," sighed Phil. "Ok ok, well I can't wait to meet this radio goddess," smirked Dan. "Don't call her that, she's still nervous around everything," chuckled Phil. "Whatever," chuckled Dan.
