Batwomen began hearing growls from her gauntlet coms as Anne was looking around, She decided to follow the sound as Anne continued gliding around Bleake Island.

Some civillians in the street watched Batwomen gliding around the area as Anne continued hearing the growls until she opened her detective vision and continued looking until she saw something.

She glided towards it as Anne saw the She bat growling while flying around the buildings as Anne started following her as The creature was flying away before Anne was getting closer to her.

Anne grappled to a rooftop and saw the creature before she immediately jumped and landed on her back as She bat was growling as Anne was holding her neck as They continued flying around.

Anne punched the bat before they fell to a rooftop as She bat tried to attack Anne with her claw but Anne moved her claw away and began injecting her on the neck to get the blood sample as She bat was trying to move away before she pushed Anne away and growled at her as Anne was getting up.

The Bat jumped and flew away but Anne already had enough blood as Batwomen watched it fly away. She looked at the blood sample before she contacted Tony.

Anne: Tony, This creature was indeed a women before transforming into this monster. I got a blood sample from it.

Tony: Thats good, Batwomen. You should get back to the tower and we can analyse it.

Anne: I will do that.

Tony: Okay, Do you think you can find it though?

Anne: I have my ways.

Tony: Haha okay good, But tell us where your going because I'll send Nat and Pietro towards your location.

Anne just stared and said "Okay" as She disconnected the call as Anne's next stop was finding the laboratory as Anne was looking through her devices.

Soon, Anne got in her batmobile and started driving until Carrie contacted her as Kelly said something.

Carrie: Hey, Where are you?

Anne: I'm still at Bleake Island, Robin.

Carrie: Is anyone with you?

Anne: Not at the moment.

Carrie: Alright good. I'm still in the tower but I'm in another room. Did you really join The Avengers?

Anne: I did, But under a few conditions.

Carrie: I thought you said to me that you won't care about them nor join them. Because your protecting Gotham in your hands.

Anne: I only joined The Avengers if there are bigger threats to the world.

Carrie was silent and was listening to Anne as Winters continued speaking while driving towards Chinatown

Anne: Threats like Ultron and Loki. You know how much destruction they caused in this world.

Carrie: Your right about that. . . What about the one you faced with the Justice League last year?

Anne: SteppenWolf, Exactly. That's why it's better to form more alliance to make this world a better place.

Carrie: Now to think about it, I do agree with you. Ultron was dangerous and Loki and Steppenwolf were powerful gods that could have destroyed this world.

Anne: Sometimes one isn't enough to save the world but it's enough for one to destroy the world.

Carrie: I agree, While The Avengers defeated Ultron and Loki. You and the Justice League defeated Steppenwolf so it's a good alliance.

Anne: Thats right.

Carrie: Hey Anne, Can I ask you something?

Anne: Sure.

Carrie: Can I be part of the Justice League?

Anne was silent as she continued gliding before she answered Carrie.

Anne: No Carrie. You won't be a member of the Justice League.

Carrie was silent until She heard Anne say something.

Anne: You will lead the Justice League.

Carrie must have had a smile on her face, Anne also had a small smile on her face as She spoke.

Anne: Just wait for a little.

Carrie: Of course, Thanks Anne.

Anne: No problem.

Carrie: I'm gonna be with the others. Take care Anne.

Anne: You too.

The call was disconnected as Anne found a secret laboratory as Winters stopped the batmobile as Anne got out and looked around.

She was about to enter until she heard something as Anne knew who it was as Someone jumped from the rooftop before landing down as Anne looked and saw who it was.

Anne: Black Widow.

Natasha: Is this the laboratory?

Anne nodded as Natasha was just looking at her.

Natasha: Where is the creature at?

Anne: When I got the blood sample, She escaped. Don't worry, I'll find her next time.

Natasha: Okay then, How do you think this laboratory is from this creature?

Anne: I can tell by the clothing of the creature. It may be ripped but it was easy to notice.

Natasha nodded and was staring at Anne until they felt the wind blowing as They saw someone in front of them.

Pietro: How come you girls are faster then me?

Natasha: I was thinking you were gonna get here first, I saw her batmobile and followed it.

Pietro: Yeah but I'm still late.

Pietro was looking at both women before Anne shooked her head and opened the door as Anne looked at them.

The three walked inside as Anne pressed on a button where an elevator was leading them down.

Eventually they made it down as They looked around and were walking as Pietro spoke.

Pietro: This seems a bit sketchy.

Natasha: It does, But let's keep going.

Anne looked at them as They continued walking before Anne opened the door and saw the main room but everything was destroyed in the lab as They looked around.

Natasha: What even happened in this room?. . .

Anne was silent and looked around as Natasha was examining the destroyed stuff as Pietro was looking around until Anne saw something playing on the TV which seemed to be on repeat.

Anne called Natasha and Pietro since she knew they also wanted info as The three were watching the footage.

It showed the same laboratory before everything was destroyed, The camera was moving before it was placed on the table as It showed someone sitting in the chair.

Her name was Francine Langstrom, She is forty five years and is a chiropterologist.

Francine was smiling at the camera before someone came behind her and kissed her and wrapped his arms around her as She saw who it was.

Kirk Langstrom, He is forty five years old and is a chiropterologist. Kirk is also Francine's loving husband.

Kirk and Francine met eachother in College and fell in love with eachother. Soon after they graduated, They both got married and settled their life. Both Kirk and Francine always wanted to cure deafness and other illnesses.

Despite their financial crisis, The two were there for eachother. Recently Francine made a cure to get rid of deafness.

Kirk: I'm so proud of you, Honey.

Francine: Thank you sweetie.

Kirk smiled and sat next to Francine as Both of them were looking at the camera.

Kirk: Come on, Francine. Lets start now.

Francine: *Takes a deep breath* Okay, Er. . . .Hello world. . . no, that's terrible.

The couple shared a laugh together as Kirk touched her shoulder.

Kirk: Go on! Just be yourself.

Francine: Okay. Recently i have been working on something and full genetic re-splicing was a success.

Kirk: Yes, of course.

Francine: So, what I've done is merge the DNA of the vampire bat, into the human chain. This breakthrough could...will prevent and cure deafness in all humanity.

Kirk: Perfect sweetie.

Soon Kirk was seen holding the camera as Francine was in the testing room where she was going to test the cure that she created.

Kirk: You got this, Francine.

Kirk walked closer as Francine was looking at him before she laid down.

Kirk continued watching while recording it as He was looking at his wife until She started twitching as Kirk was concerned.

Kirk: Francine? Francine!!!

She continued twitching as Kirk was scared and worried and placed the camera on the table. All that was heard was growls of the bat and a glass breaking as Kirk was heard screaming while the She bat was growling before the camera fell on the ground as It showed Kirk on the floor who was dead.

The growls and screams continued as there was sounds of stuff breaking. . .

Natasha and Pietro were shocked as Anne was just staring as Natasha spoke.

Natasha: Goodness. All they wanted to do was cure deafness and other illnesses.

Pietro: But I guess their fate changed. . .

Anne looked at both of them as They continued investigating the room, Pietro and Natasha were looking at the testing room as they were looking at eachother until they turned and saw Batwomen doing something at Francine's computer.

Pietro: What are you doing, Batwomen?

Anne: This is Francine's computer, Maybe it has some research.

Anne saw some research notes as She was reading them while Pietro and Natasha were also reading with her.

Soon they were done reading as Anne looked at them.

Anne: Lets get back to the tower and have Bruce analyse it.

Pietro: *Removes his goggles* Sure, And then we can get the cure of that thing.

Natasha: it always seemed like a bad idea to mix vampire bat's blood with a human blood.

Anne: Thats true.

Anne was looking at Pietro who was looking around, Winters always knew The Avengers when she first met them and She knew Pietro was part of them. Maximoff noticed that Batwomen was looking at him before she walked away as He was looking at her.

Eventually The three of them left the laboratory as Anne was walking towards her batmobile as she looked at both of them.

Natasha: Hey Batwomen.

She looked at Batwomen as Anne looked at her while Pietro was standing and looking at them as Natasha sighed.

Natasha: Do you even trust us?

She said while narrowing her eyes as Pietro was looking at both women as Anne continued looking at her before she spoke.

Anne: If I didn't, I would have took all of you down.

Anne gave a look to her as Natasha just looked at her. She had a little doubt on Batwomen but she knows Anne could have did something by now.

Natasha: Fine, We trust you. . . I have something to do here, I'll get to the tower later.

Anne nodded as Natasha walked away and climbed on a building as Anne was watching her before Pietro said something.

Pietro: Natasha is kind of like that, You shouldn't worry about it.

Anne: I know that.

Joker: Well would you look at that, Bats. The red haired spy is probably doubting on you. . . . Maybe she's the real clown after all. Hahahahahaha!

Anne looked at Joker who was sitting on top of her batmobile as Anne just shooked her head and continued looking at Pietro as He was looking at her and fixed his hair as Anne continued looking at him and spoke.

Anne: Get inside.

Pietro was confused before Anne got inside the batmobile as Maximoff was a bit shocked as Anne was letting him in the Batmobile as He got inside.

He looked at Batwomen as She began driving as Pietro looked around the mobile.
