The time was ten p.m. as the news channels were talking about Alex Ambrose's arrest, the reports say that he attacked an officer and kidnapped Joey, but Ambrose was telling the cops that he didn't do anything at all.

The police still suspect that Alex kidnapped Joey and kept him in jail until they found more evidence and made him tell the truth. Alex, on the other hand, was very confused about the situation and angry.

Jack and Benjamin were also confused about what happened and believed that Ambrose didn't do anything, but the security footage clearly showed Alex entering the department.

Anne and Bucky heard about the news, which shocked them, but they felt like something was wrong. The two immediately made their way to the police station as they looked at the window and saw a woman arguing with the officers, including Jack and Benjamin.

April: Leave my husband! He has nothing to do with this.

Jack: Miss Ambrose, The security footage showed Detective Ambrose walking in the police department.

Officer: He first attacked one of the officers and kidnapped Joey from his cell.

Benjamin: We don't know where Joey is at now.

Officer: We tried to question Detective Ambrose, but he's not telling us anything.

April; Why would he? You know the detective very well, and he has been working for years. How can you assume that he kidnapped a prisoner?

Benjamin: We are currently investigating this, We know our partner very well, but we can't let him go yet.

April: This is nonsense, Are you all even cops!? I guess this city really gotten into your heads-

Jack: April, Please calm down. . .

April was really angry as she took a deep breath and looked sad and angry, Ryan and McFarland comforted her and walked her out of the police department as they were speaking to her.

Anne and Bucky looked at each other as the two officers walked away, They both decided to sneak inside the office and find the cell where Joey was at.

Jack: April, We are really sorry. But you have to understand-

April: I thought you trusted him. . .

Benjamin and Jack were silent as they shook their head and sighed as April was staring at them. She just walked away in anger without saying anything as Benjamin and Jack felt bad for her.

Anne and Bucky were at Joey's cell as they were looking around to find any clues until they both noticed something on the ground.

It was a crocodile scale.

It was on the corner of the door, Anne picked it up and kept it with her as They both looked at each other until they heard something as both of them escaped the jail cell.

Meanwhile, at the Bat Cave. Anne and Bucky were seen examining the scale as Anne was speaking about it.

Anne: Believe it or not, the cellular structure is human, but the texture of it is almost. . . .reptilian.

Bucky: Ambrose might not be the primary suspect after all.

Anne: How did this even get in the cell in the first place? It doesn't look like it's artificial.

Bucky: It looks like an actual crocodile scale.

Anne: Crocodile. . . .

Bucky: Is that a clue?

Anne was thinking about something as she touched the scale again and said something.

Anne: Crocodiles make their lairs in underwater caves. . . .

Winters realised that this scale belongs to a crocodile and where the ship exploded, There was an undiscovered cave at the location as Anne looked at him with a smile on her face.

Anne: Bucky, you're a genius.

Anne gave a quick hug to him as He was shocked before Anne got up and walked away as Bucky was looking at her.

[Thrity Minutes Later]

Anne and Bucky were seen in the Bat boat as they were going underwater as both of them were looking around.

Anne continued sailing the boat and went deeper into the water as Bucky spoke to her.

Bucky: I think I can see it.

Anne: Good, At least we made it there.

Bucky: I don't know what we are going to find in there.

Anne: Look, obviously, a crocodile isn't gonna grow legs and walk out of the lair to frame Alex.

Bucky chuckled a little as he looked around the ocean and watched the fishes as he spoke.

Bucky: But why was a scale in the cell anyway? That doesn't seem right at all.

Anne: That confused me as well, but I think our questions will be answered.

Anne stopped the boat as both of them wore their oxygen masks and got out of the boat and began swimming towards the cave as they were looking around.

Soon, Anne and Bucky found themselves in a dark cave as they were looking around until they saw Spider Conway and Joey The Snail, who were tied up as they looked shocked.

Anne signalled them to be quiet as both of them climbed on the rocks and looked at the two criminals.

They both cut off the ropes as Conway and Joey were gonna run away until they heard laughter and something rose up from the water as Anne and Bucky saw what it was as they were shocked.

A Crocodile that was in shape of a human being began walking towards the vigilantes as they stood in shock as Croc said something.

Croc: Terrific. Just what I need now. The freak job in the cape and her other freak friend.

Anne: You're no prize yourself.

Croc stared at both of them until he ran and charged towards the vigilantes but they both dodged his attack, But Croc surprised them by charging towards them as he tried to bite them but they were holding him back.

Anne and Bucky were trying to push Croc as Croc tried to bite them again, but instead, he bit Bucky's vibranium arm, but Barnes felt no pain and punched him in the face.

Croc: What was that? That doesn't even fit my diet.

Anne and Bucky ran and tried to attack him as Croc smiled and grabbed both of them mid way as he locked their heads under his arm.

Croc: Bein' a reptile man ain't pretty. But it's got its upsides. Like having the strength of a crocodile, for instance!

Croc picked both of them up and threw them to the water as Croc smiled and continued speaking.

Croc: But I guess you've learned that by now, huh? The hard way.

Bucky and Anne tried to get out of the water but Croc pushed both of them inside the water while trying to drown them.

Croc: You know, they used to call Killer Croc, the meanest dude in the wrestling federation. Now, they'll call him the guy who iced The Batwoman and The Winter Soldier.

Anne and Bucky managed to kick him as Croc went flying towards the wall, Anne and Bucky got out of the water and glared at Killer Croc.

Bucky: Don't hold your breath

Croc looked angry, got up, and began running towards them, but Anne surprised him and. . . .

Croc was on the ground as He couldn't get up, Bucky and Anne noticed Conway and Joey jumping to the water and making their escape as the vigilantes wore their oxygen masks and jumped in the water to capture them.

Croc ripped the rope off his leg and jumped to the water as he was looking for them but he didn't see them anywhere as Croc was angry.

Anne and Bucky captured Conway and Joey and knocked them out before throwing them to the bat boat and sailed away.
