It had been two weeks since the incident at the trial. The asylum had regained control and prevented the criminals from escaping and causing any more harm to the vigilantes and the District Attorney. The intervention of the police also helped to regain the control of the asylum.

Everything got better now, and Janet even thanked the vigilantes for saving her from the horrifc situation, She realised that they were good people and are doing their best to protect the city. However, since she is the D.A. She knew that she could still make a city without any vigilantes roaming around.

Bucky and Anne were seen at a game store as Barnes was looking around, astonished by seeing discs of games for different consoles. Anne was showing him around as she smiled and spoke to him.

Anne: See anything you like?

Bucky: What are these things?

Anne: Video games, I got a PlayStation 4. Pick a game that you like so we can play it together.

Bucky: *Chuckles* I don't know how to play these games.

Anne: Don't worry, I'll teach you. Old man.

She jokingly bumped her elbow on him as Bucky rolled his eyes and smiled at her, He began looking around the aisle as Barnes picked up a game and began staring at it.

Bucky: Anne, what about this one? It sounds cool.

Anne: Dark Souls 3? You're gonna have to pay for another controller then.

Bucky: Why?

Anne: Let's just say It isn't a game, It's more like torture.

He shrugged and put it aside as Anne saw another game and picked it up.

Anne: What about this?

Bucky: Little Big Planet 3? That looks like a kids' game.

Anne: No, it isn't, A lot of adults play it.

Bucky raised an eyebrow and shaked his head, not liking it. However, Anne took it with her anyway. She decided to look for another game just for him.

Anne: Okay, you wanna play WWE 2k16? It's a wrestling game.

Bucky: Wrestling. . . Hmm, alright, sounds interesting.

Anne smiled and took the game as Bucky looked at her with a smile on his face. He never knew Anne was a gamer, but that's what he found really interesting about her.

Soon, They walked up to the cashier and brought the games as both of them were seen leaving the store as Anne was speaking to him.

Anne: You're going to enjoy both of these games.

Bucky: You're really gonna make me play that kids' game. Aren't you?

Anne: Trust me, you'll have fun.

Bucky: Fine, I'll play it. For you.

Anne: Aww, how generous of you. you're doing it for me?

Bucky: As long it makes you happy.

He laughed a little as Anne felt her heart warm up, She pinched his cheek as Barnes chuckled and wrapped his arm around her as they continued walking.

Soon, They made it back to the manor as Bucky was sitting in the chair, holding the PlayStation controller as he was examining it, Anne decided to put the WWE game first as Barnes was staring at the TV, amused by what he was seeing.

Anne: *Starts the game* And here we go.

Bucky: Sit down, Make yourself comfortable.

Anne looked at him before she had an idea as she smirked at him, Bucky was looking at the controller until Anne surprised him by sitting on his lap.

Bucky looked shocked as Anne adjusted herself and smiled at him, Bucky smiled at her before wrapping his arm around her waist.

Bucky: That's not what I mean, but I'm not complaining.

Anne smiled as She began explaining about how the game works and gave him a tutorial, They were playing a match as Bucky was struggling to play the game, His character was punching the air as Anne looked at him.

Anne: What are you doing? I'm at the corner.

Bucky: I forgot how to move.

Anne sighed and smiled at him, Finding his confusion really adorable as Anne showed him how to move the joystick, He finally managed to get a few hits at Anne's character. He really seemed to be enjoying this.

Soon, Bucky's character hit a finisher Anne's character, However he knew she was going to kick out of it, Anne was about to click on the button until Bucky turned her around and hugged her as Anne froze for a few seconds, feeling his embrace as Bucky smiled and noticed the three count happened, Anne hugged him back, unaware of the game.

Bucky: Annie, Look at the TV.

She turned around as her eyes widened while Bucky started laughing.

Anne: Wait, Did you just. . .

She glared at him as Bucky smiled at her.

Bucky: Sorry.

Anne: You really tricked me, Did you?

He chuckled before he pulled her close for another hug, This time for real. Despite the annoyance, Anne cracked a smile and hugged him back.

The next few matches were filled with laughter and jokes, It was fun time for them before they decided to switch the game to Little Big Planet 3.

Both of them were playing the game as Bucky was getting confused by the controllers again. However, for some reason, he found the game quite interesting.

Anne: So, how is the game?

Bucky: It's different than the other game. . . I was expecting more action, But. . .

Anne: But?

Bucky: It's kinda adorable, Not gonna lie.

He smiled and continued playing the game, Anne could tell he enjoyed this more then the other game as She chuckled and continued watching him.

Anne: See? I told you it wasn't bad.

Bucky: I should start listening to you often.

They both smiled and gently bumped each other's heads before they continued focusing on the game.

About an hour later, Anne decided to heat up the leftover pizza from yesterday, She put the remaining slices on the plate until Bucky walked in and gently caressed her hair before tying it in a ponytail.

Anne had a huge smile on her face and turned around as Bucky took a moment to admire her as he moved a strand of her hair behind her ear as he smiled at her.

Bucky: You look beautiful, You should style your hair like this very often.

Anne: *Smiles* If you like it, then I'll keep it. Thanks, James.

Bucky: Only you can call me that, You know? And it makes me feel alive.

Anne smiled and began holding his hand as both of then leaned closer and began staring at each other

Both of them felt butterflies in their stomachs. They always felt safe and understood by each other's presence. Bucky continued staring at her, as if she was his home.

Finally, they snapped out of it as Anne quickly took the plate and walked towards the microwave as Bucky stared and felt a little disappointed, He wanted to stay close to her.

Anne could feel her heart beating faster, even when she wasn't looking. She could feel his gaze towards her, Once Anne started the microwave, She looked at Bucky and spoke to him, trying not to show the effect he was putting in her.

Anne: What were you staring at?

Bucky: I could ask you the same thing.

Anne laughed a little as Bucky continued staring at her before he said something.

Bucky: But if you want an answer. . . I was admiring the most beautiful woman in front of me.

He gave a smile as Anne blushed a little and felt her heart pounding as Barnes fixed his hair and spoke again.

Bucky: How lucky am I?

He gave a cheeky smile as Anne smiled while nodding before taking the pizza out of the microwave, She walked closer to him and placed a finger on his chest.

Anne: You're not the only one that is feeling lucky.

She smirked and walked away as Bucky chuckled, feeling his heart beat faster.

Soon, They were sitting in the living room while eating pizza while talking to each other. However, they couldn't help but think about each other as well, how much their relationship has evolved over one year. They really loved each other but both of them were afraid to say it.

Not only because one of them would never accept. . . It was the fear of losing each other.

They began holding hands while looking at each other, They smiled as Bucky placed a kiss on her forehead as Anne chuckled and kissed his cheek as both of them shared a laugh.

They were hoping to say those. . . . Three words.
