After identifying the robber in the video footage, who was revealed to be a criminal named Charles Daly, who seemed to be working for the new gang, Anne and Bucky were going to find Charles and interrogate him about their new gang.

Someone was seen fixing his jacket and hat and walked to an alleyway while looking around, The man was revealed to be Charles, who had been hiding from the police.

Charles was having a phone call with someone until he had a strange feeling and immediately hung up the call until someone jumped down as Daly looked and saw Batwoman as he immediately stood back.

Charles: Who are you looking for, Bat-breath?

Anne: The first guess is you.

Charles stared at Anne as he tried to turn and walk until he saw Bucky in front of him as he was cornered by both of them.

Charles: You're working with an assassin, Batwoman? I know Bella Real is going to throw you two in the raft

Bucky kicked Charles out of anger as Anne looked at Bucky before grabbing Charles by the throat.

Anne: Don't get wise with me, Charles. Now start talking before i make sure you won't talk for the rest of your life. . .

Bucky: Who's your boss? What are they doing here in Gotham?

Both of them had a death stare in their eyes, which had Charles feel nervous, but he didn't want to show the fear as Charles grunted and managed to push Anne as he crashed himself into the dumpster.

Daly was holding his head as he got up while roaring before charging towards Anne, but Batwoman jumped over his head while Bucky moved to the other side as he hit his head on a blunt object

Anne: You really have a hard head, How about using it for something other than a blunt object?

Charles was ticked off before police sirens were heard as Anne and Bucky knew they needed to leave the scene. Otherwise, the police would go after them.

Both of them grappled to the rooftop while Charles immediately wore his head before running away. He was trying to get back to his hideout, which was a bad idea now that Anne and Bucky were secretly following him.

Charles led them to their hideout as They saw him entering an apartment complex as Anne and Bucky were trying to find a window to look over the gang's apartment until they saw a rectangle glass on the rooftop

Both of them quickly looked over the glass as they saw that Charles was inside.

Charles: Hey, I need the boss asap!

Thug: Don't know, I think he's busy.

Charles: No, I need to speak to him now!

???: Charles? Is everything okay?

This was Arnold Wesker, He is a former ventriloquist in Gotham before retiring.

Charles: I gotta see the boss.

Arnold: He's sleeping, He said he's not to be disturbed.

Charles: Hey, man, it's important.
Batwoman and the winter soldier are on our case.

Arnold: Okay. . . I'll try asking him.

Arnold looked a little worried as He walked upstairs while Anne and Bucky were watching what was happening.

Arnold carefully knocked on the door until they heard the boss's voice, who was yelling.

Boss: Hey, I'm sleeping here! I lay down, close my eyes, and you idiots can't let me sleep!

Arnold: I'm sorry, sir. . . But, but Charles says it's important.

They heard a loud angry sigh as The thugs and Charles were listening while Anne and Bucky were waiting for the boss to come out.

Boss: Well, it better be, or there's
gonna be fireworks, get me?

Arnold nodded and entered the room. Soon, they heard footsteps as Anne and Bucky continued watching until they saw Arnold holding something in his arm.

Puppet; This better be worth it, you idiots.

Anne and Bucky were shocked, The boss was revealed to be a ventriloquist puppet, but how was that even possible?

Puppet: Start talking, What was so important that i can't get a good sleep?

Charles: Batwoman and the soldier got me figured, Scarface. I don't know how, but they both came down and demanded information.

Thug: Batwoman and the winter soldier? We're talking real trouble.
What are we gonna-

Suddenly, Scarface got angry and got into the thugs which scared the others, including Arnold as Scarface yelled at him.

Scarface: Hey! Who are you talking to, creep? *Looks at Arnold* He's just the hired help! I'm the boss here. You talk to me.

Thug: Look, boss, We can figure it out. We just have to make sure they both don't find our hideout.

Scarface: Shut up! This Batman business can only mean one thing. . . . . We got us a squealer.

Charles: No, boss, that can't be. We would never betray you like this.

Scarface: Glad to hear it. cause if there is, and I find him and cut him in pieces and throw him to the vultures!

Arnold began quickly walking away while talking to the boss

Arnold: Now, Mr. Scarface,
remember your blood pressure.

Scarface: Shut up! I dont want your opinion, dummy, I'II pull your string if you talk again

Arnold went to the bedroom as Charles and the others decided to walk away and discuss about their next move. While Anne and Bucky still couldn't believe what they just saw.

About sometime has past, Anne and Bucky sneaked inside scarface's bedroom as they were investigating the room.

Bucky carefully looked under the bed while Anne was looking at the bedside table before both of them looked at the puppet, which was sleeping.

Anne carefully touched the puppet until scarface opened its eyes as Anne jumped and stepped back while Bucky looked at the puppet and moved back.

However, Scarface wasn't moving or didn't say anything, which confused Batwoman and Bucky.

Suddenly they began hearing footsteps as Anne and Bucky left the room before Arnold entered the room and looked around.

He was checking on Scarface until Bucky covered his mouth and began pulling him out of the room as Arnold was trying to scream until they went to another room.

Bucky: My advice to you? Don't make a sound. . .

Arnold was silent as Bucky let go of him, Arnold turned around and looked at Bucky and felt scared before Anne spoke to him.

Anne: We are looking for evidence of your previous robberies.

Arnold: Robberies?

Bucky: Don't be stupid, Cooperate, and it could go easier for you.

Arnold stepped back in fear as He spoke to them.

Arnold: He. . . He doesn't tell me anything. Not his plans, not where he hides the loot. I swear I'm just a flunky. I know nothing.

Bucky got angry and grabbed him by the shirt as Arnold was shocked.

Bucky: Stop playing games and start talking.

Arnold: I don't know anything!! I'll tell you. Let me go-

Scarface" Hey, who's making
all that racket? Is that you, dummy?

Anne and Bucky were looking as Arnold got even more scared hearing his boss.

Arnold: Oh, no. Don't let him find me with you. . . . You don't know how dangerous he is. He sees me talking to you, I'm a goner!

Anne: *Sighs* Let him go.

Bucky dropped him as Arnold immediately got up and went to Scarface's room.

Scarface began arguing with Arnold because of waking him up for the second time as Arnold apologised to him and was about to close the window until he saw Batwoman gliding while Bucky was grappling to a rooftop, Arnold jumped when he saw them before he closed the window.

Meanwhile, Anne and Bucky were in the batcave as they were listening to an audio of the puppet speaking as Bucky spoke to Anne.

Bucky: They really sound like two different people.

Anne: You're not alone, Even the computer is fooled.

Bucky: Things are getting crazier here in Gotham. What are we going to do now?

Anne: Hmmm, I once studied with a magician about ventriloquism
and voice throwing, I think this ventriloquist is using some tricks on us.

Bucky: When do you think he will strike again?

Anne: Scarface keeps his plans secret until the last minute. I guess we both have to see how long this goes.

Anne and Bucky were looking at the computer as they were thinking about their next move.
