After finding evidence at the crime scene in the Phoenix pharmaceutical company, Anne and Bucky needed to do more investigation to what has been stealing chemicals from different pharmaceutical companies and They found a strange recording and thick hair strand which belongs to a bat.

Right now, the time was six p.m as It showed Gotham's Zoo.

The Gotham City Zoo is a large zoological park, They had a bat-exhibit, a rare vulture, a large aviary, crocodiles, Alaskan timberwolves and several types of wild cats.

Announcer: The Gotham Zoo Train departs in 5 minutes. An entrance in Chiroptera, on the bat exhibit will begin in 30 minutes.

People were walking around the zoo while some of them were also walking and checking the exhibition with their children's as someone was seen looking around the zoo.

Anne fixed her outfit and sprayed some perfume on herself as She smiled and began walking around the zoo.

About thirty minutes has passed, Anne was at the Bat exhibit and was trying to find someone.

Anne: Is anyone here right now?

Bats began flying around the area as Anne was looking at the bats until she heard someone say something.

???: Who's there?

Anne: It's Anne Winters. I had an appointment here, I call it a bat problem.

Anne saw an old man with a cane as She looked at the man and recognised him, It was Doctor March.

Dr March: What are we? Pest control?

Anne: If it's not offense then yes.

Anne joked with him as March smiled at her and told her to come in as Winters smiled and followed him to his laboratory.

March: Its odd of you to book an appointment here, What help do you need, Miss Winters?

Anne: Well lately, I'm been hearing squeaks and sounds from my chimney, Last night I found something that looks like hairs and I might have some bat problem.

Anne showed a sample of the hairs as March looked at it and grabbed it as He looked at her.

March: So what if you have bats around your house, After all they are not pests! They are survivors just like us! You need to understand that.

Anne raised an eyebrow until they heard someone's voice as Anne and March turned around to see a blonde woman, wearing a white coat.

???: Dad, You should know that you shouldn't disrespect Anne Winters like that.

Anne: Oh of course not, Miss.

???: *Smiles* Mrs actually, My name is Francine Langstorm. You spoke to my husband Kirk on the phone.

Anne was gonna say something until someone entered the laboratory as They saw who it was.

It was Kirk Langstorm, He is a scientist.

Kirk: My apologies for arriving late, Did you bring the samples? Miss Winters.

Anne: It's okay, Mr Langstorm. Yes I gave it to Doctor March-

She heard the door being shut as Doctor March was gone as She looked at Kirk and Francine.

Anne: What happened to him?

Kirk: He may have went to analyse the samples, Dont worry he will let you know by tonight if you really are having a bat problem.

Francine: Dad was lecturing Winters on the virtues of Chiroptera

Anne: Does he really like bats or something?

Kirk: Well Yes, He's quite protective when it comes to bats. He likes bats more then people in general.

( Wow, Even I'm not obsessive being a bat. )

Anne: I see. Also I have a recording of what I keep hearing from the chimney, Maybe you could identify it?

Anne played the recording from her phone which was the one she found at the phoenix company as Francine was shocked and confused while Kirk was listening to it.

Francine: Wow, I never heard this kind of bat before, Miss Winters.

Kirk: Maybe we can identify by the people at the sound library, We will let you know about it, Miss Winters.

Anne: Thank you for your help, Mr Langstorm.

Anne sent the recording to Kirk as Winters said goodbye to them and left the laboratory as Kirk and Francine were talking to eachother and were wondering what could the bat be.

The time was nine twenty five p.m as Anne was seen in the batcave as she was replaying the bat's recording on the batcomputer as she continued listening to it while Bucky was looking at his metal arm until he looked at Anne.

Bucky: Anne, Can you stop that? My ears are ringing from that sound.

Anne: I'm trying to figure out what this could be, Bucky.

Bucky: Has Doctor March said anything about it?

Anne: Not yet, I think he should have called me by now. You know, I find that Doctor kind of strange actually.

Bucky: Why?

Anne: Kirk told me that he is so protective when it comes to Bats, He basically doesn't like people.

Bucky: He sounds obsessed with bats.

Anne: Yeah, I find him odd honestly.

Bucky looked at Anne and raised an eyebrow.

Bucky: Aren't you a bat as well?

Anne looked at him as She said something.

Anne: Bats are basically my weapon to instill fear on criminals.

Bucky was gonna say something until Anne had a phone call as They both looked at it before Anne answered it and put it on speaker.

Anne: Hey Doc! What's up?

Doctor March: *On Call* You have bats, Miss Winters. Common brown bats. They shouldn't pose a problem. As the weather gets colder, they'll move on.

Anne: Okay, What about the sounds on the recording?

March: *On Call* It's actually two sounds, Starlings and brown bats; probably fighting over a nest on your chimney.

Anne: I appreciate the help, I promise to return the favour. Until later, Doctor.

Anne hanged up the call as Bucky was looking at her before she looked at the batcomputer and said something.

Anne: Something isn't right, This computer checked that fiber against every animals species. I went to them because I tought they might know something we didn't. That hair wasn't a brown bat.

Bucky: I can tell, What about those sounds?

Anne: Computer; check against combined sounds; starlings and brown bats.

Anne and Bucky were looking at the computer until they heard something from it.

Batcomputer: Negative. Sounds not originated by either species.

They looked at eachother and found out the sounds weren't coming from Starlings and Brown Bats.

Bucky: So March is lying to us, He knows something we don't know.

Anne: That's right, We have to figure out why he is lying.

He nodded as Anne and Bucky were going to investigate why March was lying to them as they wore their suits and left the batcave and were heading to March's laboratory.

Meanwhile at the Laboratory, Someone was seen coughing and was extremely sick. He continued coughing as he said something to himself.

???: I feel. . . Sick.

He saw a serum and immediately drank it as the man began walking away.

But unknown to him, Anne and Bucky were hiding in the laboratory and began looking at the man before he left the room.
