(New title card, Yay XD)

It's been a month since Harvey was arrested and was sent to Arkham Asylum due to his insane behaviour and the crimes he has committed. A lot of people had mixed reactions to his arrest, Some of them were glad about his arrest while others felt bad knowing his condition, No one can still believe that this was their former district attorney, In the end everyone needed to move on from the incident.

Anne felt bad for everything that had happened to Harvey, but in the end, she knew she had to move on from this, even though it was still hard and difficult for her, knowing that her best friend is an inmate at Arkham Asylum.

But things have changed now in the past month, and things have been slowly getting better now.

The time was eleven twenty-five p.m. as Anne was seen returning to the Manor after a long and exhausting day at work, She entered her house and took a deep breath, and tossed her heels on the shelf, She continued walking and noticed it was dark and quiet.

She looked over at the guest room and had a feeling Bucky was asleep, Anne continued looking at the door before walking upstairs to change her clothes.

Soon, Anne was at the kitchen while taking apple juice from the fridge and poured into a glass, She wasn't really feeling sleepy due to many thoughts in her head so she decided to stay up for a little, Anne played some music on the speaker and made sure to keep the volume low.

She took a sip of juice and felt refreshed as Anne smiled to herself and took another sip, She was about to refill the glass until she felt someone's arms wrapped around her which caught her off guard.

Bucky hugged her from behind as Anne looked at him and had a small smile on her face, The hug felt so comforting, and it made her feel better.

Anne: Hey Buck, I thought you were sleeping.

Bucky: No, I wasn't, I knew you were home.

Anne: I see.

Bucky smiled a little and broke the hug as Anne turned around and looked at him with a small smile on her face.

Bucky: Not gonna lie, I missed you, Anne.

Anne: Really?

She was surprised by that, Barnes smiled at her and seemed a little embarrassed when he said that, but he continued speaking to her.

Bucky: You weren't at home all day, which felt odd, I didn't get to see or hear you. It was strange without your presence.

Anne stared at him in shock, but she couldn't help but smile at him afterwards.

Anne: Is that why you hugged me?

The smile could answer her question, She smiled at him again as she spoke to him.

Anne: I felt the same, to be honest. . . But you should get some sleep now, You could be tired.

Bucky: It's okay, I didn't feel sleepy anyway.

Anne nodded as Bucky was listening to the music that was played on the speaker as he spoke to her.

Bucky: You have some nice music taste.

Anne: Thanks, I think I have a song you might like.

He nodded and decided to pour a glass of juice for himself as Anne played a song through her phone.

Barnes was listening to the song as he looked at Anne, She smiled while taking a sip of her drink as he continued listening to the song.

Bucky: That sounds beautiful, Who's the singer?

Anne: Loretta Lynn, a famous singer from the sixties.

Bucky: Oh, I see, The song sounds really nice.

Anne: That's true.

Anne played another song as both of them were listening to it, He placed the bottle of juice back in the fridge as Anne changed the song into something from the new generation.

Bucky was confused by the song as he looked at Anne, who had a huge smile on her face.

He had a smile on his face, and both of them listened to the lyrics, which was sweet and romantic, It made them laugh a little as Barnes walked towards her.

Bucky: Didn't know you liked listening to romantic songs.

Anne: *Chuckles* I just found it two days ago.

Bucky: But it sounds. . . Amazing.

He listened to the lyrics as both of them were staring at each other, not breaking eye contact before Bucky said something.

Bucky: It reminds me of that dance we were supposed to have at the party last month.

Anne: Oh, I remember that very well, but things got busy that day.

She walked closer to him and placed her phone on the counter as the song continued playing.

Anne: How about we finish it right here?

Bucky: *Chuckles* Uh, we can save it for later.

Anne: Come on, It's alright. We can have another one on the right occasion, Now give me your hand.

He stared at her before smiling a little, Bucky hesitated before giving his hand to her, She smiled and held his vibranium arm as Barnes pulled her close and both of began slow dancing while smiling at each other.

Both of them were staring into each other's eyes while they continued dancing as the song was fitting their dance very well.

"I would never fall in love again until I found her,"

"I said, 'I would never fall unless it's you I fall into. "

"I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her,"

"I found you,"

They could feel their heart beating faster as the two continued dancing while smiling at each other, They were already having fun and they felt happy being close to each other, It made their hearts race as they continued dancing until the music finally ended.

They were finally struck by reality as they continued staring at each other and let go of their hands.

Bucky: That was fun.

Anne: Indeed.

Bucky: *Smiles* Happy Valentines Day, I guess.

Anne rolled her eyes and smacked his shoulder as Bucky laughed a little, Winters forgot that today was valentines Day as she looked at him.

Anne: Wow, you reminded me of that.

Bucky: I bought something for you, actually.

Anne looked at him in shock as Barnes stared at her while fixing his hair as she spoke to him.

Anne: Really? James, You didn't need to do that.

Bucky: It's okay, Just stay here.

He walked back to his room as Anne nodded, She watched him enter his room before she looked away and began thinking about him, She also thought about how sweet the dance they had, It made her heart beat faster as she smiles to herself, She never felt this way before.

Barnes entered the kitchen and placed the gift on the kitchen counter as he told Anne to turn around, She listened to him and saw the gift, which made her heart skip a beat.

Anne looked at it in shock as Barnes smiled at her reaction, She walked closer to the counter and picked it up as she had a huge smile on her face.

Bucky: Do you like it?

Anne: I do. It's amazing.

Bucky: *Chuckles* I wasn't sure if you liked the teddy bear, though.

Anne: You know I find these childish but. . . This one brought a smile to my face.

He stared at her and smiled again as Anne walked towards him while speaking to him.

Anne: Thank you so much.

Bucky: You're welcome.

Anne: Just wait here, I want to grab something.

She quickly walked away as Bucky nodded and waited for her to come back, He looked at the gift and smiled to himself, He was really happy that Anne liked the gift he bought for her and he loved how she reacted to it, It made his heart skip a beat as he was thinking about her.

Soon, Anne arrived in the kitchen and looked at Bucky before showing the gift to him.

It was a military dog tag that Anne customised for him two days ago, She was supposed to give it to him the other day but forgot about it, Bucky looked at the gift in shock as he took it and began examining.

Anne: I know it's nothing big, but I wanted to gift this to you the other day. But I hope you like it.

Bucky was silent and began having memories of his past, He remembered the days he would always be called "Sergeant" Anne continued looking at him before he finally looked at Anne and smiled at her.

Bucky: I love it. . . And it already means so much to me.

Anne smiled at him as he wore the dog tag over his neck as both of them continued smiling at each other.

Both of them were seen relaxing by the cosy corner as Barnes laid his head on her legs, Both of them were talking to each other as Anne was caressing his hair.

Bucky: So how have you been feeling?

Anne: *Sighs* I'm fine, It's still hard not to think about. . .

Bucky: I know it hurts you, Anne. . .

Anne: Seeing my best friend as an inmate at arkham asylum was something I never expected to see. . . . But I guess it was fate.

Barnes was silent as Anne was staring at the wall, remembering everything that happened before she shook her head and sighed again.

Anne: But it's over now, I have to move on and think about this city.

Bucky: Just remember I'm here for you, Anne.

Anne: *Smiles a little* I know you are. . . At least I know I'm not alone in the darkness.

Bucky smiled at her as he got up and turned around, Both of them were staring at each other as Barnes said something.

Bucky: You're the one pulling me out of the darkness.

Anne stared at him in silence and smiled a little, They continued staring at each other as Bucky spoke to her.

Bucky: And I'm glad I found you.

Anne just smiled at him again and moved closer to him, to the point her legs were almost wrapped around him as they continued staring at each other.

Anne: I'm glad as well.

Both of them got closer and slowly leaned a bit closer to each other as Their hearts continued beating faster.

They finally realised how close they were getting as both of them immediately moved their faces back and stared at each other in silence.

Anne: . . . . . So, do you want to watch a movie?

Bucky: Sure. . . .

They didn't speak about how close they almost got, but deep down, they also wished they didn't pull back. Both of them got up and went to the living room to watch a movie on the TV.

However, they still couldn't forget about what happened earlier, and it made their heart beat faster. Maybe it could be the most unexpected feeling for them. . .

Love.

Kayleigh: Are you feeling better now, Jack?

Jack: No. . . My teeth still hurts.

The married couple were at home as Jack was seen laying in the bed resting his back on the headboard as Kayleigh was sitting next to him.

Kayleigh: *Smiles* Did you eat ice cream without me?

Jack: *Chuckles* Definitely not, Because you'll kill me if I did.

They both laughed a little as Jack was holding his cheek, Kayleigh told him to open his mouth as she opened the flashlight on her phone and tried to see if there was any cavity on his teeth, But there was nothing as Kayleigh spoke to him.

Kayleigh: I don't see anything on your teeth.

Jack: I guess I should go to the dentist tomorrow.

Kayleigh: I guess, I also think its something with your gums.

Jack: You could be right about that, honey. But we will find out tomorrow because right now it's not stopping.

She touched his cheek as Jack smiled at her, Kayleigh kissed his forehead and decided to get something for him in order to relieve the pain on his teeth.
