Three months have passed, and now the fourth month begins, A lot of things have happened, including encounters of two new villians that had their own motives. One of them was Oswald Cobblepot AKA The Penguin.

The Penguin attempted to steal multiple prototype suits that use nanotech and vibranium technology in order to establish himself and his gang to be much more dangerous and ruthless with this kind of technology. However, Anne and Bucky managed to stop him, and he was sent to Blackgate prison.

Another villain was Jonathan Crane AKA The Scarecrow. He is a former psychologist at Arkham Asylum who is secretly working with mob boss Carmine Falcone, who bring shipments of drugs in for him to use to create his Fear Toxin, which he uses to torture his patients and later sells as a drug to criminals.

However, once Batwoman and Bucky captured Falcone, Jonathan' motives changed, and he wanted to create chaos and terror in Gotham City. He starts experimenting with even more potent and dangerous versions of his fear toxin in order to create maximum panic and disruption.

He becomes obsessed with testing the limits of his toxin and wants to spread his fear toxin across the city in an attempt to drive everyone mad and bring the city to its knees until he was captured by Batwoman and Bucky.

However, another incident occurred last month, There was a sudden breakout in Blackgate prison and Arkham Asylum, and multiple criminals escaped and began to cause chaos around the city, Anne and Bucky managed to capture most of the criminals but there was still more they couldn't find and that was their old enemies.

Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Two Face, Killer Croc and. . . . .

The Joker.

There was an illegal low-level drug operation happening as multiple thugs were guarding the warehouse, There were hundreds of boxes that had different drugs in it and were ready to be sold.

A hostile was talking on the radio while staying alerted in case of anu intruder, He closed the radio and felt uncomfortable by the silence.

Suddenly, someone tapped his shoulder as he turned around and saw Batwoman, His eyes were widen but just before he could react, She covered his mouth and began choking him until he was unconscious.

The other hostile was at the room, checking on the boxes until he was attacked from behind and was knocked out by a hard punch as it was revealed to be Bucky, Who had a completely new getup.

As the months went by, the media was starting to get a little comfortable with the soldier, Many civilians could see how much he had changed and stopped many crimes with Batwoman. Their perspective started to change and didn't refer to him as The Winter Soldier anymore.

Bucky was glad to redeem himself after so long, Anne created a new suit for him and gave him some gadgets and tech, which included a rifle with non-lethal bullets, sticky grenades, an electric taser and another gun which fires freezing immobilising gas.

And they made up a new name for him, He was now known as The White Wolf.

Barnes looked around the room and began examining the boxes, Until someone opened the door as Bucky turned around and saw a thug who looked at him in shock, Bucky was gonna shoot him until batarang was thrown at the hostile's head and Anne took him down.

Anne looked at the hostile before she looked at Bucky, who was aiming the gun before he lowered his aim.

Bucky: How sharp is that batarang?

He smiled through his mask as Anne looked at him.

Anne: Come find out.

She teased and walked away as Barnes continued staring at her.

There was another thug by the railing as Bucky took him down.

Bucky looked over to Anne's side and saw how she took down an enemy.

He had an impressed look on his face as Anne got up and looked at the white wolf again.

Bucky: You got some moves, You should show me more.

Anne smirked through her mask and spoke to him.

Anne: Says you, You said you know how to handle a gun, But can you handle me?

He chuckled as both of them were enjoying this playful banter they were having.

Bucky took down another hostile with a plank as the five hostiles were altered by the sound. He quickly hid in the shadows until he bumped into something, Barnes immediately turned and saw Anne next to him.

Anne: Your muscles look even better in that armour.

Bucky: The more we keep this up, We won't even finish the mission.

They both chuckled and heard footsteps as the vigilantes were hiding before Anne grappled away while Bucky was waiting to perform a sneak attack.

One of the hostiles were walking until Bucky grabbed him and slammed his head on the wall, Barnes looked over to the other side and saw a hostile walking until Anne grabbed him from above as Bucky had a small smile on his face.

Anne gripped his throat tightly before dropping him as the hostile began screaming until she shot a cable, tying it around the gargoyle as the other three hostiles heard the screaming and felt nervous.

Bucky: Impressive move, Batwoman. Where did you learn that?

Anne: Just years of training and experience. But I have to say, it helps when I have such a good-looking partner to show off for.

Bucky: Well, I wouldn't mind seeing more of that 'showing off, sweetheart.

Anne stared at him and hit his arm as Bucky chuckled again.

Anne: Focus.

Anne and Bucky took both hostiles down as there was only one remaining, The hostile dropped his weapon in fear as both of them began walking towards him.

Hostile: P-Please! Don't hurt me, I'll tell you everything-

Anne grabbed him and knocked him out with a punch as Bucky looked around and noticed the warehouse was clear.

Bucky: It's clear.

Anne: We have been a perfect team since last year.

Bucky: Likewise.

She stared at him as Bucky kept his gaze towards her before he said something

Bucky: You always look great when you're fighting.

Anne blushed a little as both of them stared at each other before they chuckled again, They realised what they have been doing since this mission started, and they had no idea why they were doing this. But deep down, They were liking this banter.

Bucky: I just realised we were just filriting through this whole mission.

Anne: Yeah, not that I'm complaining.

She teased and grappled away as Bucky had a small smile on his face before he followed her to the room where all the boxes were.

Eventually, the police arrived and arrested all the hostiles and retrieved the stolen drugs, Batwoman and The White Wolf made it back to the batcave as both of them shared a drink while talking to each other.

Anne: Hopefully, that drug operation stays down.

Bucky: Since I arrived at Gotham and teamed up with you, I'm been facing a lot of. . . Interesting people.

Anne: *Chuckles* Clowns, Human Crocodile, An unstable Ventriloquist, Guy turns into a Bat. . . Welcome to Gotham City.

They both chuckled as Bucky took another sip and smiled a little.

Bucky: And there are many more. Can't believe it's been a year, though.

Anne: And things are looking good so far.

Bucky: Yeah, things have changed now. . . I finally became who I wanted.

She shook her head and knew what he was talking about.

Anne: I'm glad you finally got to redeem yourself. You're no longer the winter soldier in people's eyes.

He stared at the ground and began reflecting those memories, But he was glad it was over now.

Bucky: I have to thank you though.

Anne: What do you mean?

Bucky: Just being around you, talking to you. You make me feel like I'm not just the Winter Soldier but a person again.

He admitted as Anne smiled a little before grabbing his human hand.

Anne: You always have been a human to me.

He smiled at her and kissed her hand as Anne blushed and felt her heart beating faster.

Bucky: Thank you for everything.

Barnes really wanted to confess his love to Anne, Everyday his feelings grew stronger for her. But he was nervous, and he didn't want to tell her about it yet.

Anne smiled and gently squeezed his hand while looking at each other.

Later on, It was late night as Anne and Bucky were seen sleeping in the same room, Since Bucky experiences those nightmares, Anne decided to let him sleep in the same room with her.

Anne turned to the other side and looked over to Bucky and noticed he was sleeping, She would always check on him whenever she wakes up, Anne continued staring at him as she was starting to think about him.

Her heart was racing as she smiled a little, However he started to shake a little as Anne looked at him, He clenched his fist tightly and grunted, The nightmares were coming back.

Anne immediately got up and laid next to him, holding him tightly. She caressed his hair as Bucky was still clenching his fist until he stopped and felt a little calmer, Anne looked at him with sadness in her eyes as she kissed his forehead and muttered something.

Anne: You poor unfortunate soul.

It was five a.m in the morning as the sun was starting to rise, Many people were awake, starting their days. Most cars were driving through the road as there was a hooded woman standing as she looked around the streets of Gotham.
