A few weeks have passed since Emma's arrest, After the madness she caused all because she was replaced with another actress in one of her greatest movies, She killed over sixteen cast members from the reboot of the movie.

However, when the police failed to capture her, She sneaked inside the police evidence room and stole the mud samples of Clayface turned into the monster and began causing mayhem before Batwoman and Catman stopped her

Emma was now arrested and was kept in a container where she would never escape and get out, Doctors also found out that she had suffered psychotic behaviour for a very long time.

However, things were back to how it was. Everything has been going well for the last few weeks. Right now, it showed Winters Cooperation as Carrie, Benjamin, Jack, Caitlin, and Matthew were seen sitting together while talking to each other.

Matthew: These two months have been crazy, don't you think?

Jack: Mad Hatter, Riddler, Firefly, and Now a new version of Clayface.

Carrie: Hahaha, Charlie calls her Lady Clayface.

Benjamin: Very fitting, actually, Haha. But yeah, definitely, things have been crazy but hey, that's your usual days in Gotham.

Caitlin: I agree with that, but as long we get heroes protecting the city, then everything should stay low.

Jack: True, Where is Anne, by the way?

Matthew: She's having a meeting upstairs, actually. It's been an hour now.

Carrie: Oh, I see, though I'm happy that things have been going well for her and everyone else

Benjamin: Same here, honestly, but right now, I'm feeling bored.

Jack: Why did Anne even bring us here?

Caitlin: To show her boring stuff, maybe.

Carrie: Even school was better than this, Benjamin.

Benjamin: I say both are on the same level.

Matthew: I'm recording this just to show it to Anne when she's done with the meeting.

Everyone: Matthew!!!!

Matthew: *Laughs* I'm just kidding, kids.

They all just stared at him as Matthew continued laughing until the elevator opened as they saw Mark and Annabelle walking towards them.

Annebelle: Good morning, everyone!

Mark: How are you all doing? And where is Anne?

Matthew: Oh, what a surprise! We are doing fine, though.

Caitlin: And Anne is having a meeting at the moment.

Annabelle: Looks like Charlie needs to wait to see the love of his life.

Jack: *Chuckles* No surprise that he was the one that wanted to see her.

Mark: *Sits next to the group* Of course, but there is something that he's not telling us.

Benjamin: What do you mean by that?

Annabelle: It looks like he really wants to talk to Anne.

Carrie: Oooooh, does he want to propose to her?

The group started laughing as Mark said something to them.

Mark: I got a feeling he does, but I know they have been hanging out really often.

Caitlin: They definitely also have late night calls.

Benjamin: Yup, I'm your witness, guys. They talk for hours.

Carrie: *Raises her arm* Another witness here, They constantly text.

They shared another laugh together until they noticed the elevator was moving up as they saw someone walking out.

It was Charlie, He was looking around the building as everyone smiled at him as Charlie noticed the group.

Jack: Speaking of Charlie, Here he is.

Charlie: You guys are all gossiping about me?

Matthew: *Surrenders* They were gossiping, not me.

Benjamin: We didn't say anything, It was Mark.

Mark: Of course, everyone blames it on me!

Annabelle: *Laughs* Why did you bring it up?

They all shared a laugh as Charlie smiled at them and chuckled as he said something.

Charlie: Anyways, can I go see Miss Winters right now?

Caitlin: Not so fast, Charlie. She's right now in a meeting.

Charlie: Matthew, Tell her to end the meeting now.

Matthew: What? I can't do that

Charlie: Fine, Carrie, you do it.

Carrie: Sure, I'll do it.

Annabelle: Oh god, Carrie. Sit down, Anne is gonna kill you if you disturb her.

Mark: Charlie, You need to be patient. What's the matter anyway?

Charlie: There is something I'm been meaning to tell her, That's all.

He fixed his long hair as Charlie smiled at them as the group just looked at each other and smirked.

Thirty minutes passed as Anne's meeting was over as She said goodbye to everyone, Anne looked at the time and noticed it was ten twenty-five a.m. as Winters fixed her outfit.

Anne left the meeting room as She was walking away while holding her bag until she saw someone walking towards her.

Charlie: Hey, sweetheart.

Anne: *Shocked* Charlie? What are you doing here?

Charlie: Just wanted to visit you, I'm been waiting for a while now.

Anne: Sorry, I was in a meeting, actually.

Charlie: *Chuckles* I was actually gonna stop the meeting.

Annabelle: Until we stopped him.

Charlie laughed a little as Anne smiled and saw Charlie's friends and her friends walking towards her as Winters just looked at Charlie.

Anne: Really?

Charlie: I was still gonna do it regardless.

Anne laughed a little as everyone had a smile on their face and laughed, Charlie was staring at Anne and had a smile on his face.

Mark: You know, Charlie has been wanting to speak to you about something?

Anne: Wait, really?

Anne turned around and looked at Mark while behind Anne, Charlie was threatening Mark that he was going to slap him.

Mark kept quiet as Anne stared at Mark in confusion before she looked at Charlie, who immediately gave a smile to her as Anne smiled at him.

Soon, Anne decided to show Charlie around the building as they were now on the roof of the building as Winters showed him around the roof.

Anne: And, This is the rooftop. It looks beautiful, doesn't it?

Charlie: It really does, Not as beautiful as you, though.

Anne smiled at him as Charlie smiled and pulled her close, Winters continued smiling at him as Mercer looked into her eyes and said something.

Charlie: Your eyes look beautiful

Anne couldn't help but smile as Charlie caressed her hair as Anne felt her heart beating fast.

Anne: You look even more handsome.

Charlie couldn't help but smile as both of them were looking at each other while he moved her hair aside.

They both stared at each other until they both shared a kiss together, but this time it was full of affection and love, They broke the kiss as Anne smiled again.

Anne: What did you want to tell me about?

Charlie: *Chuckles* Honestly, each time I see you, your smile gives me light. Every day, I always remember the good times we had when we first met.

Anne was listening to him and had a huge smile on his face as Charlie continued speaking to her.

Charlie: Now all these times, We have been together, all these games and fun we had. . . But you really are the woman of my dreams.

Anne looked shocked as Charlie smiled and pulled her close again.

Charlie: And I'll be happy to spend the rest of my life loving you. . . Till the end.

Anne had a huge smile on her face as Charlie was smiling at her and felt relieved telling his feelings to her as Anne said something.

Anne: You are the best man I ever met. . . You have always been my light and will always be.

They both smiled at each other as Anne hugged him tightly as Charlie chuckled and hugged her as well.

Charlie: So, is it official? One day, you will be my Miss Mercer?

Anne: Of course, I love you.

They both had a huge smile on their face and continued hugging before they shared another kiss together.

Until they heard clapping and cheering as they broke the kiss and turned around to see their friends cheering for the new couple in happiness.

Anne stared and buried her face on Charlie's shoulder because of embarrassment as Charlie chuckled and hugged her as He said something to the group.

Charlie: Come on, Guys! She's too shy to show her face to anyone now.

After all those complicated feelings they both had for twenty years, Finally they realised that they truly. . . .

Loved each other.
