A few weeks passed, and everything was normal, The Haunted movie was announced to be rebooted with a new cast, The new cast members have been confirmed and already they were going to start filming the movie.

Right now, It showed Panessa Studios as all the new cast members were seen talking to the producers as producer's were giving their script.

But unknown to them, someone sneaked inside the place and was hiding from the cast members and producers as she was watching them.

Anger was visible in Emma's face as she clutched her fist in anger.

Emma wore her hoodie and began walking away as she saw Aaron greeting the cast members, which ticked off Emma.

Later on, Emma sneaked inside the costume room as She was looking through the costumes. Rhodes heard multiple employees talking to each other, but Emma was minding her own business as she continued looking around until she saw a mask.

It was a mask that was worn by the monster of "The Haunting" movie, The monster was named "Clayface," which is a vicious monster that can not be killed and takes the form of anything and anyone.

Emma was staring at the mask as she pulled something out of her pocket, which was a sharp knife as Rhodes was staring at the knife before she grabbed the mask and wore it, She looked at herself in the mirror while holding the knife.

Emma sneaked out of the dressing room as She began her sinister plan, Rhodes was walking as she saw one of the cast members talking on the phone and was all alone.

Emma stared at the member and clutched her knife tightly before slowly approaching him, just like any killer in any horror movie.

The cast member hung up the phone until. . . . .

All that was shown was blood spalttering all over the wall.

Meanwhile, a few hours passed as the time was ten thrity p.m, Anne and Charlie were seen in the bed together after their time together as both of them were breathing heavily before laughing.

Anne: Your acting like this is your first time.

Charlie: And you're acting like I never went that hard

Anne put her finger on his lip as Charlie just chuckled and looked at her.

Charlie: You know I already said it.

Anne: Of course you did, You're always a wise cracker.

Charlie: Well honey, that's the Charlie you always know.

Anne: Of course, now pull the blanket for me.

Charlie just chuckled and pulled the blanket towards them as Charlie said something.

Charlie: It's feeling cosy, isn't it?

Anne just giggled as Charlie turned and kissed her immediately.

They broke the kiss as Anne and Charlie began laughing to themselves as Charlie caressed her hair.

Charlie: Why did you stop?

Anne: Didn't you already have enough?

Charlie: *Chuckles* It's never enough

They both shared a kiss again as He was holding her neck, Charlie pulled her leg towards him as they broke the kiss and smiled at each other.

Anne: I think that's enough now.

Charlie: You're asking for it.

Anne: I didn't say anything.

Charlie: Physically, you are~

Winters smirked and moved away as Charlie was smiling at her, before Anne decided to tease him and got close to his neck.

They both laughed as Charlie was on top of Anne as They continued laughing together.

Charlie: Oh, you're such a tease.

Anne: Same with you.

Charlie smirked and began kissing her neck as Anne was holding his hand tightly before they both turned around and smiled at each other as Charlie pulled Anne towards him, Anne laid on his chest as Charlie began caressing her hair.

Mercer was smiling at her and kissed the top of her head as Anne was hugging him tightly.

Until they heard a sound coming from downstairs as Anne and Charlie looked around as Mercer spoke to her.

Charlie: Is that your batcomputer?

Anne: It is, I think something happened.

Anne immediately moved away as Charlie just sighed and got up, Both of them wore their clothes, and went to the batcave as they saw something in the computer.

Charlie: Crime in progress in Panessa Studios. Who's causing trouble over there?

Anne: I don't know, but we need to check it out.

Charlie: *Chuckles* We?

Anne: Do you want to come or not?

Charlie: No, because I think we should spend more time *Whispers to her ear* Right here.

Anne: *Smacks his arm* Not now. Someone could be in danger right now.

Charlie; I know that, I'm just kidding.

Anne: You always want more

They both smiled at each other as they were looking at the crime alert and were thinking what happened in there.

Later on, The Bat and The Cat made it to Panessa Studios as there were police cars surveying the area, Both of them got in the studios as An officer saw them and aimed his rifle until he realised who it was.

Officer: The Bat and The Cat? I didn't know you two worked together.

Charlie: It has a nice ring, doesn't it?

Anne: What happened here?

Officer: Fifteen corpses, They were brutalised. You might not wanna see it. . . .

Charlie: Show it to us.

The officer nodded as Anne and Charlie began following the officer as Mercer spoke to the officer.

Charlie: So what exactly was happening here?

Officer: Remember that one movie called The Haunting? it was announced to be rebooted by the director of the original movie. All I know is that the cast members were meeting up in the studios.

Anne: Were the cast members murdered?

Officer: I think so. . .

The officer led them to one of the rooms as there were three corpses. Both Anne and Charlie crouched down and stared at the corpse.

Charlie: Geez, They were right about them being brutalised

Anne: It looks like these cast members were stabbed multiple times, and it looks like the killer sneaked behind them.

Charlie: That's some Michael Myers vibes.

They both got up and left the room as they began investigating the other corpses as they saw blood splatters all over the wall.

Anne and Charlie looked at each other and saw a bloody wall with a corpse below as Charlie said something.

Charlie: The killer bashed his head on the wall. . . Maybe they really have something against these cast members?

Anne: Hmmm, It really looks like they do.

They continued walking as they found the other corpses, which were brutally murdered as Anne and Charlie were disgusted by all of this until an officer called them as they followed the officer.

Batwoman and Catman saw Aaron Crawford was sitting in shock and fear, He couldn't believe what happened.

Charlie; So you must be the director.

Aaron: Yes. . . . I don't know how this all happened. . . I was just at the cafe, taking a phone call with my pregnant wife, and when I came back, all of this happened. . . .

Anne: Where were the other producers and workers when this happened?

Aaron: It was break time, They were working nonstop for the remake of this movie, and I told them to go outside and rest up. Only the cast members were on the studios reading their script.

Charlie: So there were no guards or anyone?

Aaron; No. . . . No one was there, I was going to come and meet them actually until. . . .

Anne: Do you have any idea who did this?

Aaron: I have no idea. Honestly, I don't know who the monster that did all of this was.

Charlie: Look, Crawford, We know how you're feeling, but these murders look like pure hatred.

Aaron: I seriously don't know anyone. . . .

Aaron was holding his head as Anne and Charlie knew that he was in grief as both of them continued investigating the area before leaving.

Winters and Mercer were at the rooftop as they were talking to each other.

Charlie: Whoever this employee is, They were really on the dark side.

Anne: This case seems similar. . . . But different

Charlie: Similar?

Anne: It reminds me of Basil Karlo's case, how his movie was also rebooted, and He killed the cast members out of rage.

Charlie: True, maybe she took some inspiration from your buddy clayface?

Anne: Maybe she did, But we have to investigate this even further.

They both nodded as They were thinking about the murder case, Who could the murderer be?
